My name is Miriam Philostin, I am a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula located in Riviera Beach Florida. Everything about pregnancy, postpartum support and babies excite me! I am a registered nurse with a specialty in child and adolescent behavioral health. I have learned that early intervention and support for parents is key to mental health well-being and self sufficiency. Which will in return, provide moms the ability to take care of themselves and nurture their babies. My goal is not to just be there during pregnancy, labor, and delivery…but to also be that resource now, and beyond. Im Anna, labor Doula As a mother of three, I’ve experienced the powerful journey of natural birth firsthand, with one induction and two completely unmedicated births. These personal experiences, combined with my lifelong dedication to birth work, have deepened my commitment to helping other women embrace their innate strength and achieve a peaceful, instinctual birth. My path to becoming a doula was inspired by my mother, a labor and delivery nurse, and my role as an older sibling to five younger brothers and sisters. Additionally, for the past 20 years, I have assisted in animal births, witnessing how calm, meditative and instinctual the process can be. Jeni is a graduate of the University of Florida. She has been a Certified Birth Doula through DONA International for over 16 years. Jeni has attended over 275 births which have included twin vaginal births, water births, VBACS, scheduled and non-scheduled cesarean sections and high risk births. Jeni is also specifically trained in Hypnobirthing® Labor Support Techniques. Jeni’s role is to supply a woman and her partner with information with which they can make the best personal decisions for themselves. She supports the partners so that they are able to participate at their own comfort level. She believes a doula’s non-judgmental supportive role is very influential to the labor, birth, and postpartum outcome. Jeni values a good relationship with her clients and their families as well as the medical/labor professional community.
