CURRENT AVAILABILITY - Open availability starting January 1st. I’m Amanda Rae Mayo, founder of WOVEN Postpartum Care, offering elevated, holistic, and nervous-system-informed postpartum support for families in Laguna Niguel and throughout Orange County. I provide in-home and overnight care within an hour’s drive — blending medical precision with intuitive, heart-centered support for families seeking an exceptional level of postpartum care. Before specializing in postpartum work, I spent years in hospice and palliative care, where I developed a deep understanding of the body’s wisdom and the sacredness of life’s transitions. That foundation informs everything I do. I bring the same calm, attuned presence and clinical awareness to each family I serve — ensuring that both mother and baby feel safe, seen, and fully supported. Trained in birth, postpartum, and end-of-life care, I combine trauma-informed practice, evidence-based education, and a refined eye for detail. My clients often describe my care as both luxurious and grounding — a seamless blend of professional expertise and soulful presence that brings order, peace, and rhythm to the early weeks of parenthood. Through WOVEN Postpartum Care, my mission is to help families rest deeply, recover fully, and reconnect to themselves and each other during one of life’s most profound transitions. Please reach out to discuss your needs or inquire about availability. I look forward to supporting your family’s next chapter.

As a dedicated and experienced childcare professional, I’ve had the privilege of supporting high-net-worth families with everything from newborn care to managing entire household operations. My passion lies in creating a calm, nurturing environment where both babies and parents feel secure, especially during the vulnerable newborn stage. With years of overnight care experience, I bring a soothing, intuitive approach to infant sleep routines, feeding schedules, and nighttime transitions ensuring the baby is well cared for while giving parents peace of mind. I believe that trust, consistency, and communication are at the heart of excellent care. Families have relied on me not only for my hands on skills with infants and children including those with special needs but also for my discretion, professionalism, and ability to seamlessly support their unique lifestyle. I would be honored to bring that same level of warmth and reliability to your family during this special season.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Niomi care for our two children from ages 5-2 Her patience seemed endless, and she always treated our kids with such love and genuine care. It was clear she wasn't just watching them, but truly invested in their well-being and happiness. Beyond the basics, Niomi always went the extra mile. She planned engaging activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor games, that kept our children entertained and helped them learn. Meal times were always healthy and fun, and she was great at handling the usual kid-related messes and tantrums with grace and humor. Knowing our kids were in such capable and loving hands gave us immense peace of mind. Niomi is more than just a nanny; she became a part of our family, and we highly recommend her to anyone seeking exceptional childcare.

I am a birth doula and childbirth mentor/educator located in Orange County, CA. The primary focus of my work is to improve birth outcomes for marginalized communities and to reduce (ideally eradicate) birth trauma. My training is mostly through an organization called Birthing From Within and I highly recommend their reading materials for individuals at any stage, from pre-conception to postpartum. My philosophy is that you, the pregnant person, have all of the wisdom and ability within you and we can work together to awaken that within you.

Recent review

Lindzy is just amazing! I highly recommend her services. She is well educated, informed on all birthing questions I had. Her expertise, advice, referrals, and support around all things pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum were so helpful and such a comfort as a first time mom. She is down to earth and easy to talk to, and she valued our birth plan. She was my advocate and a huge help in the delivery room, we are so grateful to have hired her, even in though I was late in my pregnancy. If we have another she will be the first one i'll call!

I am a Registered Nurse and a mother of 5 boys (3 on earth and 2 angels in heaven). When my first was born he had a NICU stay of one week. The Lactation Consultant on duty empowered me to breastfeed him and gave me tools so that I could bring him home sooner than expected. She inspired me to follow a career into lactation. Then after having breastfed my own children and developing a passion for helping others, I went on to become a IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). I also have a Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Wellness Management and Nursing. I have been an RN for the last 12 years. I am here to help you reach your goals with breastfeeding, whatever they may be. When offering my services I assess the mother/baby as a whole and make recommendations based on evidence-based care.

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! Hey Mama! I'm Christianna, a doula, a placenta encapsulation specialist, and a childbirth enthusiast who serves mothers during their pregnancies and births. I have seen and passionately believe that a woman's body is built for birth. Not only are women's bodies designed for childbirth, but mothers get to participate in the miraculous way a living soul enters this world. Being alive is truly a miracle, and I love being able to be present for such a sacred moment when a human being is born. It is my pleasure to educate and protect women as they prepare for this life-altering event. Childbirth can be both an intense and a glorious experience. Together, we will work to address your fears, educate you on your options, and prepare you for a day you will never forget!
