I became a bit "birth obsessed" and couldn't get enough of reading the latest evidence. I decided to put my passion towards a new career path and pursue being a postpartum doula. My name is Marika Brown, and I am a Jesus-loving Christian mom of 7 living children and 4 babies in Heaven. I am a DONA-trained birth doula. My background includes a B.A. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Evangel University. I have been homeschooling my children for 13 years and recently graduated my oldest child, while my baby is approaching his second birthday. My journey to become a doula had been years in the making, starting with the birth of my own first child and instantly wanting to learn as much as I could about pregnancy and birth. I have always loved listening to other moms' stories about their births and babies. With my own back-to-back pregnancies and newborns, the time had not been right to pursue professional training to be a doula, but I knew it was something I wanted to do "someday." As a loss mama and high-risk patient myself, I have a special interest in supporting moms during a pregnancy after loss, or pregnancy complications. I completed DONA birth doula training in June 2025. I love to support moms with any type of birth-epidural, natural, high-risk, C-section, induction, spontaneous, VBAC. Jaci Finneman is passionate about helping families find happiness in their day-to-day routine. She began her career as a paraprofessional serving the needs of children with developmental disabilities. She went on to join a local non-profit agency that supported children with physical and emotional needs. Jaci was an In-Home Family Counselor and Program Coordinator for 20 years at a non-profit mental health agency. Working alongside a value-driven team, Jaci supported the launch of multiple new programs for parents and children dealing with a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges including trauma, breaks in attachment, anxiety, depression, generational abuse and neglect, as well as economic and system deficits. Jaci has spent over 40,000 hours coaching parents and kids and is highly sought after to assist children with Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). In 2013 she founded Hello World, LLC – a company dedicated to awakening family relationships by creating confident parents and rebranded the company to No-Problem Parenting™ in 2021.
