About me

Hi! My name is Lisa and I have been a labor and delivery Registered Nurse for over 20 years , and a labor coach.( Doula) for almost 30 years! I have just retired from nursing which brings me more time to give to those who want a Doula during their birthing experience! I believe in a non judgemental positive calm attitude brings a peaceful setting for a beautiful birth! I am here to provide knowledge and information and emotional support to both you and your partner, spouse ,significant other so you will have the best birthing experience as possible! I am now relocating to Minnesota in July 2024 just in time for your baby’s birth! I am taking reservations for the last Third of 2024 and beyond!

I will meet with you monthly starting your 20 th week. Then twice monthly until week 35 And weekly until labor begins!

Labor/Delivery/postpartum recovery
Labor and Delivery and 2 hours recovery postpartum care. I am there to support you through your labor and support your partner as well through the birthing experience! I will guide you through the different positions that will help comfort you.

Postpartum and Newborn care For every four hours after the initial 2 hours During this time I will teach you how to care for your new baby!

Would not recommend. First phonecall was good. I shared info with her and talked about how I wanted things to go. But after that, there was a lot of talking about her personal life. I know more about her entire family than she knows about me. Our first meeting in person was the same... About half way thru she told me I was "so quiet" but I couldn't really get a word in.. Nothing official happened and I didn't feel comfortable and decided to cancel afterwards. I asked how much I should pay her for her time, and she said 250$ first. Then 750$. Then said she could charge me the entire fee since we had a " verbally accepted contract"? Then she started threatening me with legal action. We mailed her a check for 150$ (For the one actual visit and some book suggestions) and she sent one final text saying if she didn't get more she would "start legal precedence" Glad I saw her true colors before having her as my help during labor.
