Sierra is our one and only, beloved doula. She has been with our family through the birth of our two children at the Minnesota birth center. Sierra brought positivity, faith and a deep sense of calm to our visits and to the births. Sierra is a wonderful advocate - experienced, knowledgable, supportive, fun, thoughtful, and a sweetheart! Our relationship with our doula doesn't end after we bring home our babies. We know that we can always reach out to Sierra and that she will receive us with open arms. Sierra you are such gift. We love you!

Sierra completely changed the tone of our pregnancy, in the best way possible. As soon as we connected, I felt equipped to navigate my health care, birth, and postpartum journey because of her calm demeanor, and vast knowledge of the topic. She shared so much information, but she never made me feel overwhelmed or judged by any choices I made. My husband often describes Sierra's support as immeasurable in the birth room. During pregnancy he expressed his fears of not being heard in the health care system as a Brown man, after meeting and preparing with Sierra, he felt ready and supported because of her experience and expertise. She will forever be a part of our family and she is the north star of birth work. Truly!

My Doula My Doula My Doula, To my black queens I highly recommend a doula. Well to all queens but especially my Black and Brown queens considering we have the highest rates for maternal deaths. I was sooo scared I never thought I would be able to give birth natural and vaginally. My emotions were highly it was my first time giving birth with out my sister there and no family or friends. I’ve had complications my last two pregnancies. My doula and My Man doula Orain Gundy ( is what the nurses called him) truly made it one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Besides the pain. They coached me through it, calmed me down because baby that pain ain’t no joke❗️I wanted to give up. It was truly one for the books I appreciate you Sierra Leone for making an important, high stressed moment special and comfortable. If I could go back I wouldn’t have changed anything ❤️. Go get a doula. I will even share mines with y’all because she is great 💜

Sierra was the best doula I have ever had. She reassured me, gave me my options, helped me get through the pain, and even asked a family member to wait when I didn't have the patience. She guided my husband in how to support me. We both really appreciate everything she has done for us. I couldn't ask for anyone better, and if (but not likely) I were to ever have another child, I would ask for Sierra again. She's that amazing.

Sierra is an amazing doula. She was there for me during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I had a lot of questions that prenatal classes and google couldn’t answer and she was a text or phone call away. I felt peaceful during my pregnancy and she even helped me overcome some discomforts with natural remedies. She prepared me for birth and eased any anxieties that I had, so that I went into labor and had my baby within a few hours. She was on time at every appointment and was on time during labor. During my postpartum phase, she taught me how to bind my belly, made sure I was comfortable with breastfeeding and checked in often. Sierra was part of my birth story and her name comes up every time I talk about the birth of my daughter. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for her!

Sierra has been my Doula previously and is my Doula currently! She has been fantastic support through my first pregnancy though baby came really fast so I didn't get to have her much during the first birth. This time, same quality support so far during this pregnancy with the added bonus that she's now a Yoga instructor too! Super helpful classes for me. Lots of stress management and reflection. Has helped me alot with my anxiety. I'm planning to have another healthy baby and birth with Sierra there to support me.
