Anyone would be lucky to have Melissa by their side throughout the perinatal journey! I don't know if I could have had such an empowering, healing VBAC experience without her. We were blown away by her expertise, compassion, and judgement-free respect for our priorities and wishes. My husband and I learned so much from her birth education and benefitted immensely from her emotional support before, during, and after labor. I was especially impressed with her intuition - even in the early stages of my induction she could sense when I was struggling and knew just what to say to me and my birth team to help me feel encouraged and heard. She's also thoughtful, resourceful, and funny; I always looked forward to talking with her. I cannot say enough nice things about Melissa. May she always have green lights, the cool side of the pillow, and all the blessings in life... She's simply wonderful! You will not regret working with her!!

Hi! Im Chrystal. Thank you for being here! I’m a DONA-certified Birth and Postpartum doula dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to families throughout their birthing journey. Based in Littleton, I share my home with my husband and our beloved Springer Spaniel, Fisher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and previously worked as a nurse aide and a midwife’s assistant, experiences that shaped my deep respect for both clinical care and the natural wisdom of birth. I began working as a doula in 2022, earned my certification in 2023, and have since had the honor of supporting more than 100 families. I have attended births of all varieties including home births, VBACs, cesarean, unmedicated, assisted, and more. Outside of birth work, I love spending time outdoors; identifying plants, hiking, camping, or simply walking with Fisher. I love the warmth from the sun and the sound of birds, they give me life! You’ll often find me enjoying a cup of tea with a good book, exploring creative outlets, or spending an afternoon wandering through Barnes&Noble or World Market. My guilty pleasure is rewatching media I’ve already seen and love, or rereading old books that I can’t forget. I like to think of my role as a consultant, advocate, and fairy godmother all in one. I support you in achieving your dream birth by offering continuous physical and emotional care, helping you maintain informed consent, and empowering your instincts while holding space for this incredible experience. I also work closely with your partner, giving them the confidence and tools to provide meaningful emotional and physical comfort. I value organization, timely communication, and nonjudgmental care. My goal for my clients is a labor that feels peaceful, informed, and joyful. In the labor room, my focus is always on my client’s comfort and their overall goals for birth. I prioritize finding the balance between letting labor unfold naturally and offering suggestions when they can truly make a positive difference. I often joke that just because I know Spinning Babies doesn’t mean I’m going to “flip you like a pancake”—those tools are there when they’re needed, not as a default. To me, your intuition is VIP, and medicine is a powerful tool we can use when it supports your safety and your vision. Past clients have mentioned my calm, reassuring presence and my soothing voice helping to ground them in intense moments. When helping families get acclimated at home in the first few weeks, my focus is on ensuring that my clients get off on the right foot. I prioritize guiding both parents and baby through the new life they are adjusting to, helping build structure and workflows that work for each individual family. My top two favorite parts of attending births are feeling like I have helped, and the look on your face when you realize; “I DID IT!” Thanks again for being here and congratulations!

Upon our first meeting with Chrystal she instantly entered our hearts. You can truly feel her care and compassion for this field. Chrystal was with us before the baby, during the delivery, and has continued to stay in contact. She stayed flexible and attentive during the birthing process. We felt very supported the whole way. We would could not recommend anyone more than Chrystal, and would love for her to be a part of our next birth story!

Hi! I'm Lisa! I'm a Christian Doula and Childbirth Educator in SE Aurora, CO. Right now I'm offering birth support in all birth settings (as long as you have a midwife or OB), and Childbirth Education in my home or your home! My faith is the foundation for my life, and most of my clients find and choose me because I stand strong in Biblical truth and moral values. I am a mom of 5, and wife to a husband who is a systems engineer, so I have great perspective as a mother and can relate well to new dads that might be more analytical and logic-minded. Music, art, reading, and all things creative are my hobbies, and I love to spend time in nature. I have experience supporting families with every kind of birth plan, from natural home birth, to hospital epidural birth, to planned cesarean. My favorite kind of birth to support is YOURS. Lisa provided me support and guidance while I was pregnant with my first child. Working with Lisa was a huge boost to my physical, emotional, and mental well-being. As a first-time mom, I had a lot of concerns and anxiety. I appreciated being able to ask Lisa questions and hear about her experiences as a doula. It gave me an idea of what I could expect at the hospital where I was planning to deliver. She assisted me in formulating a Birth Plan. (Ultimately, we didn’t end up using this, but the process of writing it made me consider some important issues such as whether I wanted a medicated or unmedicated birth.) The biggest benefit from working with Lisa was learning how to help my body during pregnancy. I am a very go-go-go type of person and as a result, I was twisting my back in all sorts of bad ways. Lisa assisted me in doing pregnancy-safe stretches to help ease the discomfort and eventually referred me to a local, trusted chiropractor who did absolute WONDERS to relieve the pain I was experiencing. I am thankful for Lisa’s service and have fond memories of being her client.

I found Beth in the last few weeks of the 3rd trimester of my pregnancy with my 3rd daughter, and she changed everything for me! She made me feel safe and supported from the moment we spoke over the phone! She was knowledgeable and professional, but she also made me feel like we were lifelong friends! When it came time for my delivery, Beth was incredible! She helped keep me focused and as calm as possible during contractions and she held the hospital staff accountable to my birth plan wishes. She also created us a beautiful gift after the birth of our little girl, she made us a digital birth story, it was such a touching recount of the entire evening! I would recommend her to anyone having a baby! She is the most amazing doula!

Congratulations! My name is Alyssa. I've been a doula since 2013. I became a doula shortly after the birth of my first born when I experienced a tremendous lack of support. I felt alone and isolated and overwhelmed with the contradicting information online. After connecting with other moms within the community, I learned that I wasn't an outlier and this experience was far too common. I studied with Penny Lyon and Ann Pollack in 2013 and became certified with DONA shortly after. Later in 2013, I began working at a local birth center as a midwife assistant to further my medical training. It reaffirmed that I was meant to be a doula serving families within my community. As a certified yoga instructor since 2006, I started integrating Prenatal yoga and doula work. It truly felt like the most comprehensive way to support families by bringing them affective and age old tools to cope with labor pains. Since 2013, I've proudly served over 1000 families. I'm the co-founder of In Joy Birth, a doula training company/agency located in Orlando, Florida. In 2023, I moved my family to the greater Denver area to be close to the mountains where I am currently serving families. I'm passionate about continuing education and am currently working on finishing my Pediatric Sleep Consulting certification. I'm also BLS/CPR certified, and Carrot approved. I work with only one family at a time so that I can provide individualized care to each one of my families.

Alyssa is not only an incredible doula, but also one of the most genuine people I have had the pleasure of knowing. With her vast knowledge of pregnancy and childbirth, she helped me to truly figure out what I wanted and needed. Without her I can't imagine having the incredible birth experience I had! Alyssa's postpartum care is what really sets her apart. She guided me through breastfeeding challenges, fed me nutritious food, and helped around the house to make sure I could rest and focus on my transition to motherhood. It was such an incredible gift to be able to soak in those first days with such peace and support. I am forever grateful for her, and can't recommend her enough!

Greetings! I'm Karisa Totah, a certified birth doula and postpartum doula (through DONA International). I'm also Spinning Babies trained and a Body Ready Method certified Pro. I live in Littleton, CO with my husband, near my best friend and her babies. I serve the Denver Metro area, usually within 25 miles of my home. Birth, babies, and parenting have been a life-long fascination of mine, even since I was little. I nerd-out over the smallest baby and birth details and absolutely adore helping and learning from each new family I meet. I firmly believe that both the research and my experience support the idea that doulas reduce anxiety. The birthing year can be such a stressful one if you don't know what to expect, don't have the support you need, and don't have people watching out for you. I love filling in the gap to educate and empower, support and love, encourage and help you find joy in this journey. My motto is: "Replacing anxiety with courage, fear with knowledge, discouragement with hope, and overwhelm with joy."

I want to take a moment to share just how grateful we are for our doula, Karisa someone who has become one of the most important people in our entire journey to becoming parents. From the very beginning, she showed a level of patience, compassion, and understanding that is rare to find in this world. During my wife’s pregnancy, my father was dying, and I spent a lot of time out of state. By the time he passed, I had only two months to prepare myself to become a dad emotionally, mentally, and practically. It was one of the hardest periods of my life, and Karisa stepped in with the kind of guidance and support I didn’t even know I needed. She taught me everything I needed to know with kindness and positivity. She motivated me, encouraged me, and made me feel capable at a time when I was overwhelmed. She didn’t just show up as a doula she showed up as a leader, a teacher, and someone who genuinely cared about our family. When the day finally came for our son to be born, Karisa was absolutely incredible. She was on point from the first moment, bringing calm, clarity, reassurance, and real hands-on expertise. She made every part of the birth easier, more comforting, and more understandable. I truly cannot imagine going through that experience without her. She played such a big part in making the birth of our son a beautiful, positive, and empowering moment. And her support didn’t end there. After our son arrived, she stayed with us for many hours, helping, teaching, explaining, and making sure mama was taken care of. Her presence brought so much peace and confidence during a time where everything was brand new and overwhelming. Karisa didn’t just help with a pregnancy and a birth — she helped shape one of the most important chapters of our lives. She kept everything on track from the very beginning, helped us grow into our roles, and gave us the tools and support we needed when we needed them most. We are forever grateful for her. She truly is the best. 💙

As a doula my goal is to help you realize your vision for a successful birth, to hold up the light so that you can better walk the path you choose on this journey. My wide ranging experience in birth settings has taught me that every birth is unique and that when parents feel informed and supported by their care team they are able to experience birth as a joyful and peaceful experience whether all goes to plan or not. I have been DONA certified for 3 years and in that time have attended over 100 births in all birth settings and worked though a wide range of birth scenarios. I am a very hands-on doula as I love to study and understand the physiology of labor. I study Spinning babies, massage and rebozo techniques as well as breathing and hypnobirthing and bring these skills as tools to use in the process of labor. Growing up I lived in a small progressive hippy community where birth was very much seen as a part of life. The local midwife lived next door and her stories and approach to what she did raised me to see birth as a symptom of health and that birthing people should always have constant loving support during labor. I have wanted to work in birth for as long as I can remember and I believe wholeheartedly in the doula model of care. Now that my own 2 children are older I have jumped into the birth world with both feet and am passionately committed to my calling.

Bethany Dickson is the reason I had the exact birth I wanted. We worked with Bethany for the birth of our first baby, and I would absolutely work with her again. My goal was to have an unmedicated birth, but what mattered most to me was that my birth plan was respected fully — including that if I asked for an epidural or any medical intervention, Bethany would support that without question. She was 100% aligned with this approach from the very beginning and never once tried to push me toward a different path. That trust and respect meant everything. Bethany supported us well before labor even began. We met multiple times to connect and set expectations, she provided examples and a template to help me write my birth plan, and she shared resources and videos showing different positions for laboring. When I was laboring at home, she was available by phone and offered specific guidance and positions to try. Once I arrived at labor and delivery, things got intense quickly. The nurses were offering an epidural, and I started to doubt whether I could really have an unmedicated birth. One nurse even said, “No one gets a prize for having an unmedicated birth,” which honestly made me feel like they didn’t believe I could do it, and in that moment, I wasn’t sure I believed it either. Even though I was wavering, I wanted to wait until Bethany arrived to see if working with a doula could change things. Bethany’s presence changed everything. I got into the tub to labor, and Bethany arrived shortly after. From the moment she walked in, the entire energy of the room shifted. She immediately took charge in the best possible way — dimmed the lights, turned on the LED candles, gave my husband a clear role (i.e., she coached my husband to be involved rather than replacing him), and focused fully on me. Her confidence was unwavering. She knew I could do this, and that belief gave me the strength to do it. She handed me labor combs, guided my breathing (breathing with me the entire time), and helped me stay grounded in my body. My only job was to follow her lead — and I did, all the way through full dilation and pushing. I stayed unmedicated, not because I felt pressured, but because I felt supported, safe, and capable. My pushing phase was short and Bethany was right by my side the entire time, alongside my husband and medical team. The room felt calm and coordinated: Bethany worked seamlessly with my nurses and doctor, never overstepping and never being sidelined. It felt like a true team effort, and I felt fully supported by everyone in the room. After our baby was born, Bethany gently showed me how to breastfeed as my newborn crawled to my breast. She took photos without ever being asked; photos we cherish deeply today. She made sure everything was settled, said a quick goodbye and then quietly slipped out so we could have privacy during our golden hour. She arrived at exactly the right moment, did exactly what we needed without us having to ask, and then stepped away without making anything about herself. Bethany is confident, grounded, deeply caring, and genuinely joyful for the families she supports. She has an incredible ability to be fully in command while also being deeply attuned to her clients’ needs and wishes, and to recognizing when something may need to shift to support their labor goals. Beyond the birth itself, Bethany also set us up for success postpartum. Before I even had the baby, she provided an extensive list of resources (e.g., postpartum recipes; mental health referrals; lactation and breastfeeding support; pelvic floor specialists; and more). By the time I needed those resources, I didn’t have to scramble or research anything; I already had my library of tools ready to support me. Bethany is an incredible fit for anyone looking for strong, confident support from someone who honors your autonomy and works seamlessly with a medical team. I truly had the exact birth I wanted because of Bethany’s support. If you are considering working with her, know that you will be cared for with intention, confidence, respect, and love — before, during, and after birth.

I can’t say enough about the support Ali provided during one of the most intense and meaningful experiences of my life. From the moment she was there, I felt like I had someone in my corner who truly understood what I needed before I knew myself. I had a long and challenging labor, but thankfully a smooth and uncomplicated delivery. During those long hours, Ali had an incredible ability to help me breathe, refocus, and come back to myself whenever the pain felt overwhelming. She never made me feel like I needed to be stronger or handle things differently, she simply met me where I was and helped me through it. Her calm presence made me feel supported, safe, and capable when I needed it most. I’m so grateful Ali was there with me, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.

¡Hola! My name is Karen and I am a fierce advocate for reproductive justice. I love Sistersong’s definition of reproductive justice, which is, “the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.” Therefore, I seek to support people within their journey, honoring their bodily autonomy and rights, which is why it is important for me to support birthing people, those seeking to release their pregnancy, and parents wanting to create safe and nurturing environments. I am a Spanish-speaking birth and postpartum doula who is passionate about making sure the birthing person is feeling empowered, liberated, and heard throughout their pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. I am a medicaid-approved birth doula. I am also an abortion companion and will provide you with unbiased, nonjudgemental support and unconditional love. I believe wholeheartedly that your body knows how and what to do, and that you know YOUR body the best, so I will support you in whatever YOU feel is best for you. I know you have a voice and I value that, so I will advocate WITH you. Birth and the transition to parenthood, as well as the postpartum after birth or an abortion (spontaneous or medical) is a mental, physical, and spiritual shift, so I approach my work with clients in a holistic and trauma-informed way. To be a part of your journey is an honor and a privilege and I will treat it as such when you let me hear your story, enter your home, meet your family, and be a part of a transformational moment in your life.

Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

Hi, I’m Katie—an IBCLC dedicated to supporting families with compassionate, evidence-based care. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey. These experiences deepen my understanding that every family’s path is different, and every goal is valid. I truly love being welcomed into people’s homes and consider the postpartum period a sacred space. My approach is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting families exactly where they are—whether they’re navigating challenges, exploring their feeding options, or simply seeking reassurance. When I’m not working with families, you can find me snowboarding, traveling, reading, cooking, and hanging out with my little crew, hopefully outside, having an adventure!

I am so glad that I found Katie! My partner and I initially hired her as a doula for the birth of our first baby, and while the birth did not go how we hoped (instead of a full term vaginal birth, she came a month early and was delivered via C-section), Katie was so helpful and supportive leading up to the birth, and came to the hospital to support us immediately after delivery as well, which helped immensely in feeling calmer during such a shocking experience. I had many challenges with breastfeeding, due to the pre-term birth, C-section delivery, and a tongue tie, so I decided to work with Katie as a lactation consultant postpartum as well. I am now at 6 months of breastfeeding and I honestly don't know if I would have made it this far without Katie's support. In addition to coming over for weighted feeds and help with positions and advice on topics ranging from breastfeeding in public to baby-wearing, Katie was always available to provide support when I was having breastfeeding-related meltdowns. She is so warm and understanding, always providing validation, gentle suggestions, and working with me in my specific circumstances to figure out how to balance my needs in the moment with my long-term breastfeeding goals. I'm so grateful to Katie and cannot recommend her enough!

Karee is the kind of doula who will go the extra mile to support you. I found her just two weeks before I gave birth, and she immediately made sure everything was ready for a safe and positive birth experience. Karee provided gentle, skilled massages before, during, and after birth, which made a world of difference in my comfort and recovery. She also included yoni steaming at no extra cost, such a generous and nurturing touch. I felt supported physically, mentally and emotionally by her. Leading up to birth, she helped me feel prepared and confident. During labor, she stayed right by my side, encouraging me and ensuring I was coping well. Karee held space for all of it, the pain, the overwhelming changes, and the flood of feelings that come with becoming a mother. She truly recognized what I was going through and provide words of wisdom. I have said enough so Karee is the one.

Katie is incredible, you need to work with her if you are expecting or on your breastfeeding journey! She was my doula for two births and my lactation consultant for my most recent baby. Having her in the hospital when baby and I were getting acquainted was so helpful, and even better was having her visit a few days in when there were new challenges, and knowing that as inevitably more challenges and nuances come up, she's just a call away. Katie was able to provide me with so much confidence and stand with me in all the questions... is baby getting enough? How much should she be getting? Is she swallowing too much air? Is she comfortable? How do we latch her when she's overtired or refusing to eat? And so much more. She is so knowledgable and her care instincts are so on point for both mom and baby. I felt so comfortable around Katie, like she was a friend or family member in addition to part of my care team. I will never have a baby without her on my team.

Katie has been the absolute BEST!! I couldn’t have asked for anything else in a lactation consultant. She is always so willing to help and responded to my freshly postpartum freak outs very kindly and promptly. She helped me and my little one’s breastfeeding journey tremendously. I am so thankful for her!
