Jessica was incredible and absolutely invaluable in my labor/birth experience. She was there for me during my pregnancy and provided many helpful resources to prepare for birth and if she didn't have a recommendation off-hand she would do research & ask other doulas for recommendations which was much appreciated because as a first time mom new to the area I trusted her research and recommendations for things such as local chiropractors and birth classes. Then during my actual labor she was there for me the whole 53 hours. She had prepared a backup doula on-call who was with me for the beginning of my labor and then once Jessica was back from her vacation she immediately came to the hospital to switch out with her backup, showing how much she truly cared about us because she could've just allowed her backup to stay with me during my labor but instead she came and took over! She provided wonderful emotional support and fantastic hands-on physical support. She was also an incredible liaison between us and the staff; advocating for my birth plan/preferences, asking to give me time to make decisions, and giving me trusted counsel based on the suggestions of the hospital staff. I appreciated so much how in tune she was with me and my birth journey, she knew my wishes but also was flexible and pivoted based on the everchanging situations. She also was a great support for my husband and helped guide him through my birth as well. I would definitely recommend Jenssica to anyone in need of a doula and I truly believe she helped make my birth experience as positive as possible even though it was far from my ideal experience due to unforeseen circumstances. Jessica was the best addition to our birthing team. From giving the best advice and research when we were expecting to have a natural birth to helping me switch my birthing plan more geared for a csection when we found out having a csection was the safer option for both myself and my son. She helped me ask the right questions and on the day of the csection she handled all the questions and made sure everyone had my birth plan and my requests so that way I can focus on getting in the right heads pace for my csection. She also helped my fiance feel confident in being there for me as well. When she came for my post op visit at home, she gave nothing but the best advice and recommendations for myself and my son. I couldn't be more grateful for Jessica during my journey as a second time mom but still feels like a first time mom since my kids are 13 years apart. I highly beyond recommend having Jessica part of your birthing team whether it be for a natural birth or a csection!!

Jess is an amazing doula and I am so glad I found her! Jess will listen to your concerns, give you so much advice and support and if it is something she has not dealt with before, she will do an ample amount of research to help solve any problems you have. Jess really tackled my anxiety and nervousness in going through the birthing process for the first time. She gave me support, assurance, and guidance throughout my whole journey. She made sure to check in to see how I was doing and keeping me updated and reassuring any issues that came up. During delivery, Jess will support any part of your birth plan and make sure the hospital staff is fully aware and really advocate for you. My husband was able to stay by my side without worrying about following the birth plan and Jess was able to assist and talk to the nurses as needed. She kept us updated on every step of communication between the nurses and doctors. After birthing process, Jess also made sure to check in to make sure I had ample amount of support dealing with postpartum and plenty of advice about my new baby. We really loved how Jess has been through the whole process from the late stages of third trimester all the way through the fourth trimester, where most people forget that's when you need support too. I would love to work with Jess again in the future!

My experience with Jessica is something I won't ever forget. My first experience with my first baby was a traumatic birth. I couldn't speak up for my self, had no support and wasn't heard. I decided to get a doula for my second pregnancy and the whole experience was so much different. My birth was a scheduled c-section. Jessica met with me and my husband prior to my appointment we talked about my birth plan and things I wanted and didn't want. When Jessica arrived at the hospital she came prepared she had my birth plan and spoke up for me when I needed it. She made things go smooth. Not only did she support me but also supported my husband and made sure he was okay during the whole process. She made sure she checked on me, my husband and baby. I couldn't have asked for a better doula I felt safe and like nothing could've went wrong. She also took my placenta and made sure I got my encapsulations to take on time for when I got home with baby. If I ever have a baby again I will most definitely look for her to be there again

I had hoped for a VBAC, and while my doctors initially recommended this, I felt nervous due to my first birth being a cesarean. When it was later discovered that my baby was breech and a repeat cesarean was necessary, Jessica remained by my side, adapting seamlessly to my changing needs. Although hospital policy only allowed one support person in the operating room, Jessica offered to come to recovery or arrange for her backup doula to be present so I would not feel alone. She went above and beyond by coordinating postpartum support—ensuring someone was there to help me during those crucial first hours at home as a single mother with a toddler.

We had the pleasure of working with Jess for the delivery of our breeched baby boy. I was truly blessed to have Jessica by my side, especially as she was volunteering. From the very beginning of my labor, when I had the Foley balloon placed, the pain was a 12/10 — and I remember thinking if this were just the start, I would never make it through the rest.
