About Jahala

I am a Denver native, mother, massage therapist, certified full spectrum doula, doula instructor, mentor, and overall healer. I offer services for all individuals and birthing families. I have worked with children and families since I was a teenager, and I feel I have always been called into the development and healing of others. I’ve taught preschool, been a nanny, a college enrollment advisor, and now massage therapist and birth worker. As I have gathered these different tools, I realized that there was a huge need to bring holistic health and wellness to the forefront of BIPOC communities, which is where much of my work entails. My time as a doula AND massage therapist has been a truly rewarding experience, as I have had the privilege of building personal and authentic relationships with my clients and families. I enjoy using my knowledge, support, and touch to facilitate comfort in the mind, body, and spirit. I am excited to be pulled in whatever direction is within my purpose around maternal health and overall wellness within the community.

Pregnancy and Labor Support

• 1 virtual phone call for intake and consulation • 2 Prenatal visits to meet and discuss your pregnancy, labor, and fourth trimester desires • Provide resources and/or referrals • Lactation education and breastfeeding support • Unlimited text and email support throughout pregnancy and 2 weeks following your birth • 24 hour on-call assistance beginning at 37 weeks gestation and continuing until your birth. • Up to 12 hours of active labor support and up to 2 hours immediate breastfeeding, emotional, or physical support necessities. Back up doula available for further support.

What to expect

I provide pregnancy, labor, and fourth trimester care and support. I am also a lactation educator and can provide breastfeeding/bottlefeeding support for birthing families. I am a trained traditional postparum doula and provide closing bones cermony for mothers that are interested. Traditional Morrocan Bone Closing Ceremony- All clients recieve a small version of this beautiful ritual to mark thier walk into becoming a new mother and assist in thier fourth trimester recovery. You can choose to opt out of the service.
