It's important for the dads out there (or dads-to-be) to understand the significant value that Beth brings to the experience: If this birth is your first, it's hard to know what exactly the "right" support is supposed to look like at a given moment (there is a lot to remember, after all), and if it's your third (as it was for this dad) the extra care and attention present-in spite of it being a familiar process-meant a richer and more focused one for what we expected to be our last pregnancy. Ultimately, whether you're an anxious newbie or seasoned vet, having a coach in the room (who is NOT also your laboring wife-trust me fellas, you do not want that...) means that mom feels heard, dad feels led, and needless stress is kept to an absolute minimum. Beth's sweet, caring, and consultative demeanor will surely equip any expectant couple with the tools to enter their next chapter with poise and a strong sense of direction. In addition, Beth's postpartum care was exquisite, and one could argue that it's as important for the dads as it is for the moms. Thank you, Beth!

If you are pregnant and have considered having a birth doula (or a postpartum doula) I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Beth Brooks with Life On Purpose Doulas. She is so amazing with helping bring your baby into the world. She is kind, loving, understanding, knowledgeable, and flexible. We had her as a birth and postpartum doula for our 3rd born over the summer and I believe with all my heart that her guidance was the reason I didn’t get ppd again. She was great with my husband as well as with my other kids. I whole heartedly believe in having a doula and Beth is truly incredible. 🙌🏽 We will love and appreciate her forever.

We used Beth Brooks as our birth doula and had a perfect experience. She helped me through labor and acted as another advocate for me while at the hospital in order to have the natural birth I wanted. She showed my husband how he could be more involved and I couldn't have made it through without her help. We also have hired her as a postpartum doula and it has been amazing! I was afraid I would develop postpartum depression again but with Beth around I don't see that happening this time. She has been so helpful not only with the baby but also with our other kids, helping around the house, and giving both my husband and I a break to feel a little bit more like ourselves again. We feel so comfortable with her! She is a pleasure to talk to and we consider her family now.

Beth was so amazing! She was at my sister's brith and we couldn't be more than thankful. Peaceful presence, gentle, in tune with what my sister needed. Will definitely be recommending her to my friends!

5 stars isn’t nearly enough for what an amazing doula Beth is. She is not only knowledgeable, supportive, caring, and kind but she also empowered both my husband and I throughout the pregnancy and birth of our first child. She gave us an idea of what to expect, provided skills which helped us get through some common birthing experiences, assisted us in managing unexpected issues which arose, and surrounded us with a sense of calm as we experienced all these unknowns for the first time. She also was an amazing support after the birth as we navigated our first few weeks with a newborn and continues to be a person I know I can reach out to, even as we enter into our 4th month. If you have the opportunity to have Beth as a doula, you are truly lucky. I highly recommend her and cannot stress that enough!
