For as long as I can remember I've possessed a deep empathy and a desire to nurture others. After practicing massage therapy for seven years, I felt called to look for new and more impactful ways to serve and uplift using my skills and intuition. After having had two children of my own, the idea of working with families during their journey to parenthood felt like a natural direction to pursue. I received my certification in 2018 and I haven't looked back since! As a birth and postpartum doula I strive to offer intentional and evidence based support tailored to you, through active listening and acknowledgement of your personal truths and choices. I aim to become my highest self through service to others while embracing inclusivity and the beauty, complexity, and diversity within each individual and family. I support all families through the entire range of reproductive journeys.
Heather was the perfect person to Support us through our pregnancy journey and during the delivery of our daughter. Her gentle approach and deep knowledge made me feel confident that we’d work well together. She has great instincts as a doula, is kind, generous and flexible. It’s been two and a half years since we worked together and I still think about how fortunate I was to have the opportunity to work with Heather, especially when I’m around new moms who didn’t have this kind of support. She will remain a huge part of my healthy and joyful birthing experience. Thank you, Heather, for supporting me in ways I didn’t know I would need.
