For me, this work is a divine calling, one that allows me to help parents feel safe, respected, and deeply supported during one of life’s most powerful journeys. My approach is rooted in compassion, education, and empowerment. I believe every parent deserves to feel seen, heard, and cared for in a way that honors their values and choices. Hello! My name is Diane Lim and I am a postpartum doula. I have two children of my own - two beautiful baby boys. I became interested in postpartum doula care when I was going through the postpartum season with my firstborn. I just thought to myself how there isn't enough support for women who are going through the biggest transition of their lives! I want moms of all life stages to feel supported and cared for.

I found my way to birth work through a journey of infertility and loss. I have found my passion in helping others transition through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

After having 6 home births of my own, I knew that I wanted to help other families have beautiful birth & postpartum experiences. I used Hypnobirthing methods for all of my own births. In 2011 I was trained as a (DONA international) Doula. Since then I was trained in Hypnobirthing methods, Belly binding, Abhyanga massage, natural doctoring, and other holistic practices. I have attended many different types of births, including hospital, home and birthing center births. I also offer in person and virtual child birth education and preparation. I am a postpartum doula, born and raised in San Diego, a lactation educator, and author of the book I’ll Remember You”-available on Etsy.com. I am a mother of seven children, and I am very passionate about providing new mothers and their families the physical and emotional support they deserve while adjusting to life with a new baby(or babies!). I love being able to play a role in making that transition easier.
