About Jen

After having 6 home births of my own, I knew that I wanted to help other families have beautiful birth & postpartum experiences. I used Hypnobirthing methods for all of my own births. In 2011 I was trained as a (DONA international) Doula. Since then I was trained in Hypnobirthing methods, Belly binding, Abhyanga massage, natural doctoring, and other holistic practices. I have attended many different types of births, including hospital, home and birthing center births. I also offer in person and virtual child birth education and preparation. What to expect

Birth Doula Package 3-5 Prenatal visits-These are a series of custom made childbirth classes, including Hypnobirthing breath work, positions, guided meditations, fear clearing, breastfeeding, postpartum, and more. Present at Birth (details below) Assistance with a personally designed Birth Plan Unlimited email, phone, and/or text support Labor & Birth Support Continuous, uninterrupted support during labor and birth for 24 hours. Create a peaceful and calming birth space for mom and partner-I can transform any room with my starry night projector, mini lights, essential oils. Photography of the birth (upon the request) Offer support and guidance for your partner Informational support to allow parents to make informed decisions during birth Comfort measures including; breathing, massage, changing positions, counter pressure, and essential oil for labor and birth Help with initiating breastfeeding Postpartum Support 1 home visit 1-2 weeks after birth. Added support in breastfeeding, and sleep training Chat about birth experience and questions Postpartum Doula Packages Premium Package Includes 8 visits, 2 x week for 1 month Delivered or prepared meals in your home, Abhyanga warm oil massage, sitz bath herbs + Epsom salts, Bengkung belly bind, flower essence foot bath, foot massage, healing teas: Red Raspberry Leaf, Nettles, Hibiscus. Essential oils, newborn swaddling and soothing support, family schedule organizing. Support Package Includes 6 visits, 2 x weekly for 3 weeks See package description above in premium package Simple Package Includes 4 visits, 1 x weekly for 4 weeks See package description above in premium package **Ask for our payment plans How it works & What’s included Prenatal Visit: This first complementary visit is usually done before your baby has arrived. We use this time to become better acquainted with one another. I come to your home and spend up to 2 hours with you. We go over your needs, concerns, lactation basics, newborn care and questions. This is the time we prep for your postpartum support. Unlimited Support: As you move closer to having your baby, I will be available via phone, text, or email if you need any emotional or informational support regarding the postpartum period. Postpartum Support Minimums: Daytime sessions last a maximum of 3 hours. This allows me to provide in-person emotional support, nourishing food prep, light housekeeping, laundry, traditional healing practices for the mother, education and guidance on newborn care and soothing techniques, and more.
