As a compassionate and experienced maternal health nurse, I bring a strong foundation of clinical knowledge along with a nurturing, intuitive approach that makes me a natural fit for postpartum doula work. I’ve spent years supporting new mothers and families through the delicate transition of the fourth trimester, offering not just medical insight but emotional reassurance, practical education, and culturally sensitive care. My background includes virtual and in home visits, helping families feel safe, seen, and empowered from the comfort of their own space. My philosophy is rooted in a holistic view of healing by honoring the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the mother and family. I believe in creating a calm, supportive environment where new parents can rest, bond, and recover while receiving personalized guidance on infant care, feeding, and postpartum wellness. I value intuitive listening, evidence informed practices, and community connection, and I’m deeply committed to walking alongside families with warmth, respect, and nonjudgmental support.

My daughter had a great experience with her Doula Pauline Manning. By it being her first time giving birth she made her labor experience the best, she was very supportive, tentative , patient, hands on and gave her a lot of emotional support. Very soothing to her she gave her massages ,they walked together , She had my daughter do the ball exercise. Accommodated with whatever she needed. I highly recommend Ms. Manning she's the best . My path to becoming a doula was forged during a deeply personal experience, as I navigated the challenges of healing my own womb from an ovarian cyst. Faced with the possibility of losing an ovary and the potential inability to have more children, I turned to holistic remedies and the power of herbs. Through this transformative journey, I not only healed myself but also discovered a profound calling to share the knowledge I gained with other women of color who often face similar struggles with womb health. Driven by this newfound purpose, I embarked on a mission to become a holistic fertility doula. As I delved into the realm of fertility, I uncovered not only the prevalence of womb health issues among women of color but also the systemic disparities and injustices they face in their pregnancy and delivery experiences. This revelation ignited a fire within me to advocate for fair treatment and support for all mothers-to-be.

I am certified by DONA International and have worked with many families using carrot benefits so I’m familiar with the process. Aside from being a birth and postpartum doula I am also a lactation and parent educator. I can provide guidance and help with breastfeeding, pumping, storing milk and if needed supplementing with formula. My approach is to meet each family needs, to offer the education and provide different options and let family decide what works best and go from there. There’s no right or wrong way to do things.

When we are nurtured and supported, we do better, our babies do better, and our families thrive. Still, many of us are left wondering, where is my tribe? This very question has inspired my mission to foster a sacred space for mothers to receive the emotional support they deserve. The perinatal period and motherhood can be profoundly beautiful and empowering, yet messy and vulnerable all at once. We discover challenges that we’re not confident we can handle alone. Whichever stage you might find yourself in, building your tribe and support system makes all the difference. In my practice, I support womxn who are planning to conceive, expecting, postpartum, and parenting children of all ages. Each of these stages bring new joys and challenges. I offer specialized mindful and solution-focused services for pregnancy, motherhood, and parenting to help facilitate the process with professional guidance and care. My offerings include highly customized individual therapy, postpartum-planning sessions, conscious parenting support, birth/medical trauma processing, and perinatal EMDR. Additionally, I facilitate support groups and workshops.
