Hello, my name is Amy, and I am a Registered Nurse, Psychotherapist. I have been supporting pregnant families and babies for over 20 years. If you are facing challenges in getting pregnant, having prenatal anxiety or postpartum depression, you are not alone. These experiences can leave you feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and even hopeless at times. Starting a new family is meant to be a happy time in our lives - a new milestone and a new beginning. However, it could also create mixed feelings that can be debilitating. You have tried to cope, but things are still not getting easier. Although stress is a natural response, it could take a toll on your mental health when it persists for too long. I offer a safe and supportive space to help you explore your concerns and navigate difficult decisions. We work collaboratively to uncover effective strategies for gaining more control of your mental health, confidently managing complex emotions related to pregnancy or parenthood, and being more resilient in maintaining your mental well-being. When you are feeling anxious or depressed, please know that help is out there. Take action today, a new beginning is waiting!

Hello! I’m Kashauna (Ka-shaw-nah), a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI) and Childbirth Educator based in Durham Region. My passion for maternal health and pregnancy stems from a deep belief that the journey of welcoming a baby is as much about nurturing a new life as it is about embracing the transformation of parenthood. As a mother of three vibrant children, I understand the joys and challenges that come with each stage of parenting and I am here to create a space where you feel empowered, respected and supported through your unique experience. With a background in Sociology and over a decade of experience in community advocacy, I approach my work through an anti-oppressive and inclusive lens, celebrating diversity and ensuring every family feels seen and valued. My philosophy centres on education and fostering healing, bonding and confidence—whether through the gentle power of infant massage, tailored birth and postpartum care, or emotional support. Together, we will navigate this new chapter, helping you recover, adjust and thrive as you care for your baby and family. My goal is to provide calm, compassionate care, equipping you with tools and encouragement to embrace parenthood with grace and strength.

I’m a momma to 3 incredible babies, my love for pregnancy and babies started at young age, I always knew I wanted to be a mom. I decided to get into birth work after my first baby was born. I have experienced 3 vastly different births myself including a c-section and 2 home births. I am so passionate about vbacs and home births but I support all births and everyone’s decisions. I am based out of Norfolk county but I do travel within reason.

I'm a mother of four amazing daughters, and have been working as a full time birth and postpartum doula since 2016. As a doula I believe education and support, and love helping all parents meet their goals and gain the confidence they need for the journey ahead. I support all types of births and have a beautiful inter professional relationship with doctors, nurses and midwives. I have working in all major hospitals in the GTA, as well as the Toronto Birth Centre and the Alongside Midwifery Unit at Markham Stouffville Hospital. My objective with all my families is setting expectations, supporting BOTH parents together and helping them make their birth and 4th trimester a wonderful memory.
