After having a pregnancy that was not like my first for reasons other than health, I received a postpartum herbal bath from Alexandra. The experience was truly exceptional as the way in which she took her time to curate a bath that was specific to me and my needs was barely the pinnacle of my experience. In moments of uncertainty as a mother, whether it is your first or your third, the care you receive matters. Receiving care from Alexandra is an experience within itself that can only be described within a feeling, one that is sweetened with care and someone who is committed to carrying you to the other of your vulnerability. I recommend her services to others as she is an exceptional individual who is serious about her craft and the care of the children in which she assisted in coming into this world. Again, I can not fully put into words what it is like as you would have to experience her services to understand. I can say within a day I was up and walking, and the aches and pain had vanished seemingly overnight after the bath. Simply plain and put she is passionate and dedicated and will show up for you.

My name is Joanna, founder of Sisterhood Healing. I am a devoted mother of two, and it was through my own journey into motherhood that I was led to become a doula and childbirth educator. Guided by God, I have walked a path of deep healing—finding His peace, comfort, and reassurance in both birth and motherhood. Much of my healing came through the Holy Spirit and the strength of sisterhood. Today, I have the honor of walking alongside other women, teaching, and sharing the wisdom I have received. Peace, healing, and a sound, grounded faith are all attainable for your birth journey. I believe that with the right tools, support, and spiritual foundation, women can overcome the challenges of birth and step into motherhood with confidence and clarity. My mission is to serve as a trusted resource—rooted in faith, wisdom, and compassion—for those seeking healing and preparation.

My name is Samantha Dorleus, and I’m from Miami, Florida. I’m the youngest of my older siblings, and growing up, I’ve always taken on the role of caretaker for my younger cousins. As my older sister and brother had children, it became second nature for me to help care for my nephews. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I was ready for the journey ahead. Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience of my life! Watching my daughter grow from a tiny baby in my belly to the beautiful little sunflower she is today has been truly incredible. Now that she’s 5 years old, I know I still have so much to learn as she continues to grow, but I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life. With my extensive experience caring for children since a young age, I’ve worked in after-school programs, summer camps, and preschools since 2015. Caring for children is something I’ve always loved and admired. I am now certified as a Doula and look forward to providing services to elevate and advocate for mothers, especially by offering postpartum/prenatal care. It’s my mission to support women as they navigate this beautiful but sometimes overwhelming journey of motherhood. I’m currently a full-time mom and, in my spare time, I enjoy cooking, crafting, working out, and finding new ways to support my daughter’s growth and development. I also love exploring new foods, with Caribbean cuisine being one of my favorites! I’m excited to offer my services and look forward to being of help to you all.

I became a doula to help women achieve the birth experience that they envision. I want women to feel empowered after their birth and to well informed on all of their options. I love all things birth and breastfeeding.

Melanie was so attentive, caring and comforting! I had a difficult pregnancy to say the least, dealing with all these issues and having someone who actually cares made my experience so much better. Not to mention she’s very knowledgeable about all things mother and baby!
