About Samantha

My name is Samantha Dorleus, and I’m from Miami, Florida. I’m the youngest of my older siblings, and growing up, I’ve always taken on the role of caretaker for my younger cousins. As my older sister and brother had children, it became second nature for me to help care for my nephews. When I found out I was pregnant, I knew I was ready for the journey ahead. Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience of my life! Watching my daughter grow from a tiny baby in my belly to the beautiful little sunflower she is today has been truly incredible. Now that she’s 5 years old, I know I still have so much to learn as she continues to grow, but I’m beyond grateful to have her in my life. With my extensive experience caring for children since a young age, I’ve worked in after-school programs, summer camps, and preschools since 2015. Caring for children is something I’ve always loved and admired. I am now certified as a Doula and look forward to providing services to elevate and advocate for mothers, especially by offering postpartum/prenatal care. It’s my mission to support women as they navigate this beautiful but sometimes overwhelming journey of motherhood. I’m currently a full-time mom and, in my spare time, I enjoy cooking, crafting, working out, and finding new ways to support my daughter’s growth and development. I also love exploring new foods, with Caribbean cuisine being one of my favorites! I’m excited to offer my services and look forward to being of help to you all.

Essential Postpartum Support

2 daytime visits (3 hours each)

Newborn care (soothing, diapering, feeding support)

Steady Start Package

12 hours total support (broken into 3 or 4 visits)
Day or evening visits
Breast/chest and bottle feeding guidance
Infant soothing and sleep support
Light household support (meal prep, dishes, nursery organization)
Care for the birthing person (rest breaks, herbal baths, etc.)

$1,100 USD · Flat rate

Peaceful Nights Package – $1,600

4 overnight shifts (10pm–6am or 9pm–5am)
Support for nighttime feedings
Infant care while parents rest
Diapering, burping, soothing
Light household reset in the morning
