About me

My name is Charity Nicole. I am a maternal health professional with 13+ years of experience supporting families as a DONA Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula, attending 70+ births across hospitals, birth centers, and home settings. I have extensive experience providing prenatal education, childbirth education, birth planning, postpartum care, breastfeeding guidance, and virtual maternal coaching for diverse populations, including families supported through Medicaid, TRICARE, and Aetna maternal health programs. I am a Fromer Birth Doula Coordinator with Healthy Start, where I supported families in navigating pregnancy resources while mentoring and training new doulas, particularly women of color entering the field. My work includes maternal care navigation, virtual client engagement, virtual prenatal postpartum, & birth support. As a maternal care navigator; I offer culturally responsive support, ensuring mothers feel informed, empowered, and supported throughout pregnancy and postpartum. In addition to doula care, I bring a strong background in maternal wellness, health education, and holistic support, serving as a childbirth educator, meditation guide, prenatal and postpartum yoga instructor, and maternal coach. I am passionate about improving maternal health outcomes and expanding access to compassionate pregnancy and postpartum support, particularly within underserved communities. My business (Doula Plus+) supports Mamas of ALL backgrounds and walks of life because EVERY Mama deserves a birth and postpartum doula.

My name is Charity Nicole. I am a birth and postpartum doula, a full spectrum doula, child birth educator, maternal coach, prenatal & postpartum yoga instructor, and a yoga instructor YTT-200. I work alongside Mamas/Women in alignment with their specific needs and desires. I provide and support Women as it relates to physical, emotional, informational, and intuitive support throughout their individual path.
