I am currently a birth doula and childbirth educator who has a desire to educate, support and empower women to have the birth that they desire.
Prior to our son being born, I was already thinking about what I would say for this. Little did I know he’d start making his way the next morning after these thoughts… Jenny is an amazing Doula. Very kind and caring and genuine. I would share with her pretty much every part that I felt was important to share… Even when I felt I was oversharing, she encouraged me and appreciated that I wanted her to be a part of my journey. At times, when I felt overwhelmed by outside voices and started to doubt myself or feel indecisive about upcoming decisions, she kept me grounded in the things that I wanted throughout my pregnancy, reminding me of the choices that I had. I never felt pressured to make a decision I wasn’t comfortable with. She is a great advocate, especially when I needed her at the hospital and was facing some complications. My husband and I took her birthing class a couple months prior as well - LOVED it. The knowledge and wisdom we gained from that class prepared us in things I hadn’t thought of, which also became beneficial when we were at the hospital. (Having a birth plan in place was sooo helpful once we were there) We were also shown a variety of labor positions and tools to use at home/during labor. I labored at home for about 10+ hours before heading to the hospital, where I found out I was already 7 to 8 cm dilated! Thank you Jenny!! I don’t think I would’ve made it that far at home without you. I will leave my post with this.. after our first meet up with her, my husband and I walked back to our car, and I asked him what he thought? He said, “Hire her. Just hire her. If we don’t, we’re going to probably regret it.” Jenny has a gift - hiring her as our doula and taking that class was the best decision we made for us.

I have lived in Florida all my life. My happy place is by the ocean listening to the waves. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful, wild boys. I became fascinated by the magic and mechanics of birth during my first pregnancy in 2013. I had an emergency c-section followed by medicated and unmedicated vaginal births in 2016 and 2019. For all three, I had the same doula by my side sharing her 30+ years of wisdom. In 2023, I formalized my training and certifications and have been focusing on doula work full-time. Aside from parenting my sons, it is my biggest privilege and joy to serve mothers in this vulnerable time, and I look forward to knowing and serving you during your journey. I strongly believe it is the right of the birthing person to choose whatever path is right for them. Every body, baby and pregnancy is different. If you choose me to be by your side, my promise is to help you and your partner bring that vision to life. Knowing birth can be unpredictable, I will do everything I can to ensure you feel safe, loved, empowered and strong every step of the way. I would love to talk with you about your wishes for your birth. Get in touch with me today to set up a free consultation.
Amanda was amazing. When my labor stalled out she knew just what to do. She created a spa like experience for me to relax and within 45 minute I gave birth. Even the nurses were impressed with all of her support and gadgets. In the end it was just her and the student nurse who were there during the birth. The RN ran in to catch the baby (the doctor didn't make it in time). Amanda coached me throughout and kept me grounded and relaxed. As a nurse myself I highly recommend her. Another example of her awesomeness is that I didn't want the full dose of pitocin to be induced (per their protocol) as I knew I could get hypertonic uterus as I had at my first birth. So we VERY gradually used it to help get my body started, and it worked! She was very patient and supported my decisions throughout. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you again Amanda!! I would definitely use you again if I were still local and intended on having more kids :)

I believe that childbirth is very intense, hard work, but is not designed to be traumatic, that children are a blessing from the Lord, and in most cases, the discomfort that comes with the WORK of childbirth can be managed well through mental, emotional, physical and spiritual conditioning to promote a smoother transition from the womb to the world.. It is my pleasure to teach and guide parents how to do just that.
Whatever you are considering working with Jenn to do in terms of pregnancy, delivery, post-part I’m, or education, do it. She’s calm, kind, and able to adjust to the many changes inherent in parenthood. I love her.

Her experience and guidance gave me the confidence I needed, and I truly don’t know how I would’ve done it without her. I highly recommend MotheRetreat to anyone looking for experienced, compassionate birth support.

Hello! My name is Catherine. I’m a mom to three boys + one on the way and I’m a traditional birth doula. I became passionate about the process of physiological birth after I had my first homebirth with my third son…it was the first time I truly felt empowered during the birth process and now I want every mother to be able to experience that same feeling! I believe as women we have everything we need to give birth already inside of us but that we don’t have to do this alone! I’m here to hold your hand, remind you of how strong you are and celebrate with you when the hard part is over! I would be honored to be a part of your journey. The way I serve and support women as a doula is best described as “birth bestie” or “birth sister.” I want to truly get to know you (because the better I know you the better I can support you!) and hear all your dreams and desires for birth. I offer a listening ear and a calming presence for anything you might need to work through or discuss throughout your pregnancy journey. If any of this sounds good to you, let’s go grab coffee and chat about all the birth-y things! ☕️ https://msha.ke/jubilantbirth www.instagram.com/jubilant.birth
My husband and I were very grateful to have Catherine’s expertise, genuine care, and consistent support as we became first time parents. At the birth of our daughter there were many times that made me question my ability to continue through a slow progressing labor but Catherine’s support and calm was the fuel I needed to face another contraction. Having her as my doula was the best decision!

Hi! I'm Taylor. I'm a birth doula and was traditionally trained. I believe women are amazing and beautiful miracle workers that deserve to be held and cared for during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I will go above and beyond for women who allow me into their sacred birth space. My care is very individualized based on your needs and I will adjust as needed throughout your journey. I attend home births and free births, though will attend some hospitals births if we are the right fit after chatting. If you're looking for a birth bestie I'm your girl I promise I won't leave you on read for days on end.
Taylor is extremely knowledgeable! You can feel she actually has a passion for everything birth related and genuinely wants what's best for you and your little one on the way. I have been that annoying client who has a million and one questions and never once did she ever make me feel like I couldn't ask a million more. She's the one you want with you on this journey, no doubt about it !

My name is Dayna, and I’ve been walking with women and families through pregnancy and birth for over 20 years. I’m a certified Doula, a Childbirth Educator, and a lay midwife by training, currently practicing as a Doula in Miami, Florida. My philosophy centers around honoring the sacred nature of birth while supporting families with evidence-based care, emotional presence, and deep respect for their individual choices. I believe birth is a powerful, transformative experience, and my role is to offer unwavering support, informed guidance, and a calming presence as each family moves through it. I trust in the wisdom of the body, the power of informed decision-making, and the importance of compassionate, judgment-free care.
Working with Dayna was one of the best decisions I made for my birth. She made me feel calm, prepared, and cared for throughout my entire 3rd trimester and the labor and birth. When I chose to get an epidural she supported me completely, never once making me feel judged. Instead, she helped ease my fears and gave me the confidence to trust my decision. During labor, Dayna was exactly the steady presence I needed. She reminded me to breathe, encouraged me when I felt overwhelmed, and knew when to step in with guidance and when to simply hold space. She even helped me change positions, like getting on my hands and knees even WITH the epidural! Because of her, I felt safe and supported through the whole process. If you want a doula who respects your choices and makes you feel truly cared for, I can’t recommend Dayna enough.

Hello and CONGRATULATIONS! I began providing birth support to friends years ago, but without formal training. More recently, I encountered women who gave up or never initiated breastfeeding and so, became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Then, as I continued my education in that field I found significant statistical proof for the positive impact Doulas have in birth and thereby, lactation. So, it made sense to finally certify :-D I’ve completed DONA training and am in the process of meeting their certification requirements. Meanwhile, I’ve acquired NICU-Informed Doula designation, attended a Spinning Babies workshop, and am close to completing WaterBirth certification, plus strive to participate in other seminars / training for various aspects of birth to increase knowledge and improve my services. I offer heart, hands, knowledge and a variety of comfort measures, many of which I share with you and. your partner in advance (if wanted). Equally important, I offer evidence-based information as needed to enable timely, appropriate conversations with your OB/Midwife and foster a team approach to the birth experience you desire. Words aren’t enough to describe the joy of birth; It will be an honor to support yours! Please call and we’ll see if it feels like a good fit :).
I was not able to see Katherine as we are too far away from each other; however, that did not stop her from being so kind and thoughtful as to still provide me with a list of resources as I continue to look for my doula. If we were closer, I would 1000% hire her. Any mama who decides to work with her I can guarantee is in good care with someone who genuinely cares and loves what she does and how she supports women and their babies! She is a natural.

Hey there! I’m Jessica, mom if three. I have a passion for helping Moms find the confidence to birth their way whatever that is. I will provide support physically, mentally and emotionally throughout your journey of pregnancy and birth.
I hired Jessica as my birth doula for my third baby. I did not have a doula for my first two births, but this time I wanted another person on my side to advocate for me and help with pain management. Jessica did amazing job at making sure I was informed about all my options and gave me confidence to stand my ground when pressured from hospital staff. Jessica provided me with stretches/exercises to help facilitate labor, gave massages and applied counter-pressure during contractions, and gave me encouragement when I needed it. This was by far my best birth experience and I am so thankful to Jessica for making that happen!

About Me I’m a birth and postpartum doula who believes every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and fully in control of their birthing experience. My approach is grounded in warmth, respect, and deep listening. I honor each parent’s unique vision—whether they want an unmedicated birth, an epidural or a planned cesarean. My goal is to create a space where you feel informed, empowered, and truly cared for during one of the most transformative times of your life. How I Support My Clients I offer 2–3 prenatal visits where we get to know each other, explore your birth preferences, practice comfort measures, and help you feel confident heading into labor. Throughout your birth, I’m there with steady, calm support—physically, emotionally, and informationally—always following your lead and advocating for what matters most to you. After your baby arrives, I provide a postpartum visit to help you settle in, debrief your birth if you’d like, and make sure you feel supported as you navigate early parenthood. My care adapts to your needs; whatever you want your birth and postpartum journey to look like, I’m there to walk beside you.
I can’t say enough good things about Chelsea! She’s incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to the families she supports. Even when my delivery ended in a C-section, she stayed with me and continued to offer so much emotional and physical support. Her calm and caring energy made my experience so much more positive. If you’re looking for a doula who genuinely cares, Chelsea is the one!

Hi mommas! I'm Sheila and I am a Birth Doula in Brevard County FL. I took my certification classes through DONA International earlier this year. I am very passionate about being a Doula. I have always wanted to be part of the birth work world, and I am so excited to finally be supporting moms and their families. If you are in need of Doula services, or just have some questions about what a Doula can provide, feel free to reach out! 🩷
From the very first time I spoke on the phone to arrange a meeting with Shelia Dilling, I felt instantly comfortable with her. As a first-time mom, I was nervous but determined to have an unmedicated birth, and Shelia gave me the confidence, knowledge, and calm I needed to make that happen. From her attentiveness and help with planning—providing birth plan templates and guiding my husband and I through both a Plan A and Plan B—to the moment labor began, her knowledge and reassurance gave me the strength to move forward with confidence that I could have a positive birth. When labor started, Shelia was there right away. She walked laps with me, helped relieve contractions with hip squeezes, and gently guided me through different positions to help my body progress. She came completely prepared with everything—from a labor comb and soothing music to thoughtful reminders that helped me stay grounded and focused through every wave. One of the things I appreciated most was how she advocated for me when I needed something—like getting the birth pool filled—and how she intuitively knew when to suggest trying it to help ease my transition. She was my voice when I was too tired to speak and my calm when I felt like I couldn’t go any further. She ensured I had everything I needed without even having to ask. Shelia never left my side. She comforted me when I was exhausted and even helped hold my leg during pushing. Her presence was steady, kind, and full of compassion. With my full permission, she even got the most amazing photos during my labor and with the birth of our baby that I will have to remember it forever. After our baby was born, she checked in on us for a postpartum appointment, making sure I was recovering well and reminding me that she was always available if I had questions as a new mom. I can honestly say I couldn’t have done it without her. She made me feel safe, cared for, and strong through one of the most powerful experiences of my life. I will forever be grateful that Shelia Dilling was part of our birth story.

I bring a heart-centered, holistic approach to birth work—rooted in deep empathy, empowerment, and unwavering trust in the sacred journey of motherhood. I believe birth is not just a physical experience; it’s a profoundly emotional and spiritual transformation—for the mother and the entire family. My philosophy centers on honoring your intuition, supporting informed choices, and holding space for you to feel seen, heard, and respected at every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am not here to take control. I am here to walk beside you, uplift you, and remind you of your innate power as a parent. My practice is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the understanding that no two birth journeys are the same. I meet you where you are—whether you're planning a serene home birth, a hospital delivery, or anything in between. Through education, advocacy, and unwavering support, I help parents navigate their options and move forward with confidence and clarity. The postpartum journey is just as important—and sacred—as pregnancy and birth. I believe this period deserves just as much care and intention. My approach is rooted in nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while creating a soft landing for you to heal, bond, and grow into your new rhythm. Whether you're a first-time parent or welcoming another baby into your family, I offer nonjudgmental support, compassionate listening, and practical help tailored to your unique needs. From emotional reassurance and newborn care guidance to light housework and breastfeeding or bottle feeding support, I work to create a calm, grounded environment where your recovery and your baby’s transition are deeply honored. I see postpartum not as a time to “bounce back,” but a time to be held, nourished, and affirmed. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to make you feel seen, safe, and supported every step of the way. This work is more than a profession for me—it is a calling. A calling to serve, nurture, and restore dignity and joy to the birthing experience.

Hi everyone! My name is Grey Graham, and I am a Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula, as well as a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Currently, I service South Florida (primarily), but I am open to traveling to North Florida, as well as any neighboring states. In my honest opinion, I think children are a precious gem, they are Gods gift to us here on Earth. They're just so sweet and actually quite fun to be around, I believe that they are the future and we can learn more from them then we think. I also love to see people happy and enjoying the life we've been blessed with. I decided to become a doula become after constantly stumbling across people with fears/ bad stories about giving birth and having children. I saw that people were afraid of having an actual baby, anxious that they'd be abandoned in the delivery room, and nervous about how to take care of them after. I've heard moms break down thinking they're not doing enough and failing their infant. That's where I come in. My ideal practice is to give judgment free help families adapt to bringing their baby home, understand any concerns they have, and hopefully aid them into becoming able to enjoy this milestone of their life.
I could not be more thankful for grey she really help me prepare for my labor even though my birth did not go exactly as plan because my baby obstructed my cervix that caused me to get induced she knew i was aganist being induced and the medication poticion is so horrible but she assisted me and husband to get through 45 hours of my labor i was so exhausted be of the poticion was being increased every two hours that it made labor uneasy because the contractions was coming every minute where you unable to rest i ended u getting an epidural but she help my husband with diffrent positions and comforting measures i will most dinfently refer her to anyone prices are affordable and she accepts humana medicaid that pays for doula and postpartum vist which is a big help.

Choosing Dayna as my doula was one of the most empowering decisions I made during my pregnancy. I was planning a freebirth and wanted someone by my side who not only respected my autonomy, but also deeply understood the spiritual and instinctual nature of birth. Dayna was that person—and so much more. From the beginning, she held space for my choices without judgment. She offered guidance rooted in wisdom, experience, and deep trust in the birthing process. Her presence gave me the confidence to lean fully into my body and my baby, knowing I was never alone in the journey—even though I chose to birth without medical assistance. Dayna was calm, intuitive, and hands-off in the best way, always available when I needed her but never imposing. She brought peace into the space and honored every aspect of my process, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If you’re seeking someone who will walk beside you with reverence, respect, and belief in your power, Dayna is that guide. She doesn’t just support birth—she honors it as sacred. I am forever grateful.
