My name is Virginia Parent. I am a Doula and Night Nanny located in Venice, Florida. I have been a Doula for the last 5 years serving families from Lakewood Ranch, Myakka city, to Fort Myers. As a mother of 4, I have experienced two hospital births, one which was an induction and a NICU baby; and I have experienced two midwife supported water births. I have formula fed, exclusively pumped, and exclusively breastfed. My large range of personal experience helps me to remind my clients that birth has a wide range of normal and allows me to relate, personally, to clients no matter how they choose to give birth. This includes providing breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and pumping support, providing support through sleep regressions, schedules, and following the parents lead for their ideal sleep situations. I also offer breastfeeding and pumping support in small sessions to help with scheduling, latch issues (within normal range), and assisting when baby maybe struggling with growth.
