About Joanna

I'm Joanna, owner of Brave Doula Birth Services Agency and mother to 2 adults and 3 teenagers! I am a Certified Perinatal Doula, VBAC Link Advanced Doula, Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, Body Ready Method® Professional, Certified Placenta Specialist, and a Student Midwife. My trainings include: how to handle postpartum hemorrage, shoulder dystocia, and breech presentation; Spinning Babies , and Body Ready Method. I am also CPR & NRP Certified. I believe that pregnancy and childbirth are natural processes that should be celebrated and supported. My approach to care is holistic and client-centered, and I am committed to helping women and their families have safe, positive, empowering birth experiences with evidence-based care.

We provide doula services with a holistic approach. We provide informed care. We have Placenta Services. We have served many tolac's/ vbacs and have advanced training for it with multiple years of experience. We serve at home, birth center or hospital births. We can have the right doula for your needs. Joanna was a crucial component to having the birth that we wanted! She was exceptionally responsive throughout the whole process and available for any questions pre- and post- birth!
