Hello! My name is Tessa and I have lived in Tampa my entire life. I am nearing the end of getting my birth doula, postpartum doula, and lactation educator certifications. I am getting these certifications with MaternityWiseInstitute and should be finished in May of 2024. A step in the certification process is that I am required to work with three families and be evaluated them. I already have my three families and have started working with them so I already have some experience. I believe in a peaceful, no-judgment birth experience for my clients. I am a christian and would love to involve my faith in my work with clients BUT-*I will not bring my religion into our time together at your request :)* I have read many books and surrounded myself with knowledge on how to assist in hospital and home birth/birthing center births. I am learned in natural pain relief and have much experience with new borns. I am also able to help emotionally and physically with an epidural. My husband and I don't have any children yet, but I have 4 nieces and nephews and have nannied many kids.
