Caring for mothers, babies, and families has been part of my life for more than 30 years. Although I am newer to professional doula work, I bring decades of hands-on caregiving experience, a heart for service, and a genuine passion for helping families feel confident and supported. As a mother of three and grandmother of eight, my personal experiences include vaginal birth, emergency and planned cesarean births, and caring for a premature baby in the NICU. These experiences have shaped my understanding that every pregnancy, birth, baby, and family is unique. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare customer service and leadership, I bring strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills, balanced with my naturally calm, patient, and compassionate personality. Through Guiding With Grace Maternal Wellness, I provide birth doula support, postpartum care, overnight newborn care, and childbirth education. Whether I'm helping an expectant mother prepare for childbirth, supporting her through labor, assisting with postpartum recovery, or caring for her newborn so she can rest, my approach is rooted in respect, education, and individualized care. I believe every woman deserves to feel heard, informed, respected, and empowered. My goal is to create a peaceful, judgment-free environment where families feel comfortable asking questions, expressing their preferences, and confidently navigating their journey into parenthood. It would be my privilege to walk alongside your family with grace, compassion, and unwavering support.

My wife and I were so grateful we came across Candice, she was absolutely amazing! I was away on work when my wife went into labor at our home, Candice immediately came over to our house to be with and help get my wife get into the right headspace. Unfortunately, our midwife was out of town, and by the time the backup midwife arrived, my wife had already delivered our beautiful girl! Candice was right there, every step of the way! Without a doubt, Candice helped make our girls entry into this world such a calm, peaceful and loving experience. I can't say enough good things about our experience. What an amazing person and soul, we highly recommend Candice.

My day time support with Indira was more then what I expected! She was so caring and sweet towards me and my baby girl. I thought I would not be able to leave my new born to go take a nap. But after watching how she would cradle and talk to her I was confident she was in good hands! Omg her meals were delish! Indira reassured me I was doing a great job even when I had doubts. Definitely will be calling Indira for baby number #2!!!!

Jessica is truly an exceptional birth doula! From the moment we connected, I felt completely supported, seen, and empowered. She brought such a calming, grounded energy to every conversation and made me feel safe and informed every step of the way. During labor, Jessica was an absolute rock. Her presence was so steady and reassuring, she knew exactly when to step in with support and when to hold space quietly. Whether it was physical comfort measures, emotional encouragement, or just being a warm and compassionate presence, she was exactly who I needed. My birth experience was more positive and empowered because of her. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, trauma-informed, and intuitive, and you can tell how deeply she cares about the families she supports. I honestly can’t imagine going through birth without her! If you’re considering working with Jessica, do it. She’s a gift.

Absolutely — here’s a strong, heartfelt 5-star style review that sounds genuine and standout: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rickeya was truly a blessing to our family during the newborn stage. From the very first night, her calm presence, professionalism, and deep knowledge of newborn care immediately put us at ease. She not only cared for our baby with incredible attentiveness and gentleness, but she also supported us as new parents with reassurance, education, and emotional encouragement when we needed it most. Her background in labor and delivery really shows — she is confident, organized, and always prioritizes safety. Our baby’s feeding, sleep, and overall comfort improved so much under her care, and being able to rest at night knowing our little one was in such capable hands was priceless. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask and created a peaceful nighttime routine that helped our whole household. Beyond her skills, Rickeya is simply a kind and compassionate person who truly loves what she does. Any family would be lucky to have her support during such an important time. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

I am a 34 year old Florida native who has had a passion for babies since I was practically just a baby myself. My nursing career began in 2015 when I worked on an adult PCU (ICU step-down) floor at AdventHealth Hospital in Altamonte Springs. After a few years gaining my skills, I transitioned to postpartum care and eventually accepted a position as a Team Leader of the Mother Baby Unit at AdventHealth in Tampa. I was a full-time charge nurse; coordinating between Labor & Delivery, Women’s Care, NICU, and the Postpartum Unit. I was also responsible for all of the initial assessments for babies born during my night- shifts. I loved this role and gained so much experience caring for new moms and babies. In 2023, after working through the pandemic, I decided to take a leap of faith and jump into the world of concierge (private-hire) nursing. I initially started working for a local night-nurse agency until I eventually developed an organic word-of-mouth clientele of my own. I have spent the last 3 years working with 18 different families (references available) as they welcomed new little lives into the world. I take great pride in my work and hope to bring a sense of calm and peace to your home during a time that is often a bit chaotic and anxiety-inducing. I have worked nights since the very beginning of my nursing career, so you can rest peacefully knowing there is someone used to the all-nighters caring for your newborn.

Having Allison as our night nurse was such a blessing for my husband and I. As first time parents we were nervous to leave our precious newborn with someone new while we tried to get some much needed rest, but from day 1 she was confident, capable, compassionate and kind. Allison was always respectful of our requests, but knew when to offer suggestions based on her experience. We learned so much from her and knew we could ask her anything. It was like having a best friend in your house that helped guide you in a new phase of life and we are forever grateful for her partnership.

Jenny was an absolutely amazing doula! She was supportive and available to answer questions during pregnancy and early labor, and ended up being an invaluable help to my family when I had an unexpected complication after birth. I am so thankful to have found her and chose to have her with me during the most important day of my life. We also took her out of hospital birth boot camp class and it was so fun and informative! It especially gave my husband have an idea of what to expect. NOTHING will fully prepare you for the unique experience that is childbirth, but Jenny sure did help.

We absolutely loved having Brittany support our family! She has such wonderful energy and is professional, trustworthy, and helpful in every way. Our baby was always so calm with her, and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. We’re so grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family!

October 2026

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Brittany! She was with our family from the day our son was born until he was 12 weeks old, and I am so grateful for the care, support, and guidance she provided during those first three months. As a first-time mom, there was so much I was learning, and Brittany was an incredible resource. She shared so many helpful tips and tricks, from burping techniques and soothing methods to understanding our baby’s needs and establishing healthy sleep habits. She even helped connect me with a lactation consultant early on, which I really appreciated. One of the things I valued most was her approach to our son’s nighttime routine. Over the course of those three months, she helped establish a consistent sleep schedule and taught us that not every nighttime waking necessarily meant he needed to eat. She was patient and knowledgeable about trying different soothing techniques when it wasn’t quite time for his next feeding. By the time her time with us came to an end, we had a much better routine in place and felt more confident navigating nights on our own. Beyond her knowledge and experience, Brittany was extremely dependable and professional. In three months, she was never late, never canceled a single shift, and was always someone we could count on. That kind of reliability, especially with a newborn, is invaluable. I would highly recommend Brittany to any family looking for someone caring, experienced, and trustworthy to help care for their newborn. I would absolutely hire her again without hesitation! I would also be more than happy to serve as a personal reference, whether through a phone call or a written letter of recommendation. We are so thankful Brittany was part of our son’s first three months of life!
