I had a really wonderful experience working with Carrie and Hannah. Our intro call was very helpful to determine if we were a good fit and the process of getting signed up was easy. I decided to take the birth course offered by Ginger Blossom and was able to meet with Carrie and Hannah in my home. It was very informative and they were both approachable, warm, encouraging, supportive, felt like new friends while also being professional. They were prompt in answering any questions I had via text. During labor, Carrie was helpful talking to both me and my husband on the phone over a day and an half while I was waiting for labor to progress further until we made the decision for her to come in for in-person support. Carrie was a great support in-person as well- to both me and my husband. I was so glad to have Carrie on my team while I had my first baby. Would highly recommend exploring Ginger Blossom for your doula services.

We hired Nadine as our doula after feeling that we needed more support through the pregnancy and birthing process. Nadine was amazing - supportive, experienced and knowledgeable. She provided us with lots of resources, answered all our questions and when it came to the birth, remained calm and provided reassurance when things didn’t go to plan. As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

I highly recommend having Sweet Embrace Doula to be apart of your birth team. We had a great experience. You actually get two doulas. Molly is incredibly knowledgeable with nutrition and herbal medicine. Ally has so many amazing offerings to help make your PP a healing experience. It was so helpful to be able to ask Molly and Ally all of my questions. It was so nice having their support while I was pregnant and PP. It was great to get their opinions when I was unsure about something; this helped me feel confident with my decisions to have a great birth, and to do whatever I could to keep my precious little one safe and healthy. Ally attended my birth and we were so relieved when she showed up at the hospital. She helped make my birth experience a beautiful one and she helped keep the energy calm and peaceful. She advocated for my needs. Ally has an amazing energy and my partner was so happy to have her on the team since she was there for the both of us.

Amazing! 10/10 Juile made my whole birth experience super enjoyable. From coming up with a birth plan suitable for me to being by our side during labor and delivery. Having Vee as our postpartum doula was one of the best decisions I made. We worked with her several nights a week over a five-week period, and she was a wonderful support during those early weeks with our son. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her, which allowed me to get a few extra hours of sleep and rest. Furthermore, it was very reassuring to have someone knowledgeable observing him during those weeks, helping us identify patterns in his behavior, preferences or any discomfort he might be having. Vee was not only very caring and attentive with our baby, but also incredibly supportive and thoughtful towards me as a new mom. She was always calm, reassuring, and understanding of what I needed, which made having her around feel very easy and comfortable. We really appreciated her help and would definitely recommend her to other new parents.

Noa is THE BEST. My husband and I met her a couple of weeks postpartum when she appeared at our doorstep at 10p sharp as our overnight doula so we could sleep. Not only did Noa take excellent, loving care of our daughter and leave our house *spotless* in the morning (dishes, bottles, tidying, pump parts, laundry -- you name it, she did it), but she quickly became a wonderful friend and confidant. She brought joy, calm, and laughter into our house during a time that could be so emotionally fraught, and, boy, did we appreciate her for it. We had so much fun! What a far cry from my first postpartum experience, where we had no support and white-knuckled our way through. I know Noa is no longer doing overnight postpartum care, but I am confident that Noa brings the same energy, thoughtfulness, care, and diligence (and good humor) to labor. It's who she is. We actually first met Noa when she taught our labor class, and it was clear during the day-long course that she would be an amazing labor doula. Not only does Noa know her stuff, but she connects with moms and partners to empower them and help them accomplish the labor experience they want. If we were to have another baby, I would 1000% want Noa by my side during delivery.

We cannot recommend this service enough to families that are in the trenches. Nancy was there to guide me through uncertainties and was a positive light I didn't realized I'd need. My experience with Tracy was nothing short of exceptional. After my first birth (without a doula) I was extremely anxious about going through labor again. I knew I wanted another epidural-free labor and delivery, but I knew I was going to need support. Making the birth plan and talking through pain management helped me to lessen some of my anxieties while I was still pregnant. Tracy and I communicated closely as I approached labor, and she was readily available when things got going. Her presence during labor and delivery was so helpful. She was calming, encouraging, helped me stick to my birth plan, and suggested so many different things to help labor progress. Thanks to her I was able to reach my goal of not getting an epidural again. She prayed over me during the hardest moments and was just amazing through the whole thing. For future children I will absolutely work with Tracy and Rocket City Doulas again. I cannot recommend her enough!

Our experience with Liz was truly wonderful! With Liz, you will feel safe, heard, & held through one of the most important moments of your life. When we initially spoke, it was probably 2 minutes into the conversation when we knew she was the right doula. The call ended, my husband & I looked at each other & immediately said, "I LOVED her." Liz laid out everything that we should expect, & did it in a way where we didn't feel judged. Others had tried to convince us that we had unresolved trauma, or had made mistakes in previous births. Liz's trust in us knowing what we needed was so reassuring. During the pregnancy, Liz is there if you need her, checking in to see how appts. went, & getting a feel for your mindset approaching birth. Liz was vital in my ability to remain calm as my due date came, then passed by 9 days! We discussed ways to help encourage labor, different scenarios as 42 weeks approached, & reassurances that my baby & body knew what they were doing. Being a 3rd time mom I really thought I knew it all, but when things went so much longer than we all expected, I was so grateful to have Liz's calm & confident presence. At OBC, Liz arrived exactly when I needed her. She easily fit into the flow of labor offering assistance to me, & guiding my husband to help through contractions. Liz understands when to step to the forefront, & also when to hang back. Her experience & presence in the birthing space made me feel more supported & calm than I had previously. My labor was fast, but I never felt like I lost control. Liz took stunning photos during birth, capturing all of the phases of labor, recovery, & beautiful shots of the baby. The photos will be cherished by our family for the rest of our lives! Liz doesn't disappear after you're done having the baby. She checks in during your recovery at home, & even comes to visit. We loved working with Liz!
