I’m Maria, and I also go by Mayte. I am a birth and postpartum doula, Medical Assistant, mother, emotional-support practitioner, and founder of Luna Moon Doula. My experience in reproductive healthcare allows me to understand pregnancy and birth from inside the clinical environment. I know how quickly appointments can move, how overwhelming medical language can feel, and how easily a family’s emotional needs can disappear behind procedures, monitors, and decisions. For the past two years, I have also been pursuing the educational pathway toward becoming an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). I offer compassionate, evidence-informed breastfeeding and infant-feeding education—from preparing before birth to supporting positioning, latch, milk supply, pumping, and the early feeding ransitions.
