About Blake

Hello! I’m Blake Shirk, the founder of Three Moons Nurture and Care. My mission is to support families through compassionate childcare and doula services in Tacoma, WA. My journey into this field began when I was exploring my career options and discovered a passion for nannying. This experience ignited my desire to help families, leading me to expand my knowledge in pregnancy and birth with the guidance of a doula mentor. Currently, I’m working towards my birth doula certification through DONA while continuing to provide nurturing childcare and postpartum care. I believe in fostering a safe and empowering environment for both parents and children, with a focus on kindness, communication, and education. The combination of offering childcare and birth services has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I’ve always been a people person, motivated by the desire to be of service, and I feel fortunate to have found that through my work. I am dedicated to being a trusted partner in your parenting journey, from pregnancy through childhood. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your family!

The all inclusive postpartum bundle! On going overnight postpartum support up to 60hrs/ week (overtime rates may apply). As well as a discounted rate on placenta encapsulation! Postpartum support includes: - Overnight care up to 12hr shifts 5 nights a week - Bathing - Baby laundry and nursery organization - Washing bottles/ pumps, prepping formula, breastmilk storage - Lactation support - Optional cloth diapering education - Comprehensive overnight notes - Newborn education - Optional sleep training beginning at four months Placenta Encapsulation Includes: - Pick up and drop off - Colored or Uncolored Placenta Prints - Placenta Capsules - Dosage recommendations - Placenta Pictures - Umbilical Cord Keepsake - Discounted rate of $175 ( 30% Off! )
