I highly recommend having Sweet Embrace Doula to be apart of your birth team. We had a great experience. You actually get two doulas. Molly is incredibly knowledgeable with nutrition and herbal medicine. Ally has so many amazing offerings to help make your PP a healing experience. It was so helpful to be able to ask Molly and Ally all of my questions. It was so nice having their support while I was pregnant and PP. It was great to get their opinions when I was unsure about something; this helped me feel confident with my decisions to have a great birth, and to do whatever I could to keep my precious little one safe and healthy. Ally attended my birth and we were so relieved when she showed up at the hospital. She helped make my birth experience a beautiful one and she helped keep the energy calm and peaceful. She advocated for my needs. Ally has an amazing energy and my partner was so happy to have her on the team since she was there for the both of us.

Ali gave me an Abyhanga massage just two weeks postpartum, and from the moment she stepped into my home, I felt completely at ease. She prepared the space with such care and took time to connect with me before beginning. Throughout the session, I felt deeply held and nourished. By the end, it was as if I had stepped back into my body after weeks of sleepless nights—I felt like a new human. This was, without a doubt, the most nourishing thing I did for myself during postpartum, and I cannot recommend it enough to any new mama wanting to feel at home in her body again.

This was my first time receiving Abhyanga massage and it was so magical. I am a toddler mom who is often needing a nervous system reset so this technique was perfect. After just one session with Ali, I felt an incredible wave of relaxation that stuck with me all week. My skin was divine afterwards as well. I can't recommend her enough.

Ali is the best thing that happened to our births! We were very nervous to find out we were being induced (for baby 2) as we hoped to have another natural birth. We were feeling unsure of the birth plain laid out by our OB and if I would be able to handle the pain of pitocin contractions. Ali made us feel empowered and educated in our choices and much more calm before we stepped foot through the hospital doors. Our experience with this baby (baby #2) was much more calm, gentle and enjoyable with her presence. She made us feel confident in our choices and relaxed as we moved though the birthing process. She is very easy to get along with and both my husband and myself enjoyed her presence. He felt more confident in how to best support me with Ali there. She completely changed the birth process for us and made us feel ready for the next one! With baby #3, we knew we wanted Ali to come back and be part of our birth team. She helped us advocate very early on to wait on breaking water, as I was induced again, and did not want pitocin and breaking of waters at the same time. She subtly asked questions that allowed us to have a voice within the hospital. She encouraged my husband and kept our hospital room calm and quiet. As things became intense, Ali was very calm and supported my husband in getting me through contractions. She instinctively knew what would help me without being a distraction, such as cold clothes at the very end. Having Ali there during golden hour gave me peace of mind because I knew not only was someone trusted holding our baby but she was actively watching what was going on with me. Ali will make you feel very, very safe and provides invaluable insight. Thank you Ali!

Ali attended the birth of both of my daughters! One in 2022 and one in 2024. I can't recommend her enough. Ali put me at ease right away. She truly felt like a sister at my bedside, though we had only known each other for a few months beforehand. Ali helped my husband to know where and how to be most helpful, when to rest, and when to talk. She has a knack for knowing what to do and when, often without my asking. I had a lot of fear going into my first birth, as any expectant mom does, and having her with me made such a huge difference. I really felt like she had my back the whole time, and she literally held my hand when I needed it. Ali supported me with the birth of my first born in March of 2024. After finding out I was pregnant in June 2023, I knew I wanted support from a doula to ensure my preferences were met in the hospital and I was well taken care of. Ali and Sweet Embrace was recommended to me by my OB. It was important that my doctor and doula had an established relationship and would work well in the delivery room together. In the months leading up to my birth Ali met with my husband and I 2X. We were both very anxious about birth and delivery and knowing what to expect. I feel incredibly lucky to have found Ali. We hired her as our sibling doula for our homebirth, and what a blessing that was. She arrived and I had the opportunity to just let go into my birth, knowing her kind, warm and tender caring was available for my kiddos. And when they were tucked away at school, she was my continuous companion, providing me with such caring as I’ve honestly never felt in my life. She fed me, held my hand, breathed with me. Somehow she helped me feel strong and radiant through the whole process. She even helped calm and ground my dog (who was eager and anxious to understand and to jump into the birthing pool.) And then after baby came, she continued to nurture, tidy up and aid me. When our time together was ending, she tucked me in surrounded by my liquids and foods. I cannot imagine my birth without her. She truly ushers in so much love and tenderness. I will ask for her assistance if I have another birth in this lifetime and in future lifetimes :)

Ali was our doula for the birth of our first child at the end of December 2021. What struck me about Ali, and the main reason we decided to work with her, was her relaxed, down to earth and friendly presence. Ali is someone I immediately felt comfortable and supported by. After my husband and I decided to work with Ali, we had a zoom meeting and she came to our home twice before labor. In those pre-birth meetings we talked through the birth process and all our options we had in great detail. Ali also set us up with some great online resources. She showed us how to use the Rebozo and some labor positions, which my husband and I ended up using at the hospital. Ali also performed Reiki on me (which I had never tried before) and her touch was very intentional, relaxing, and loving. On the day of my daughter’s birth we had to head to the hospital right after my water broke so Ali couldn’t help us labor at home during early labor, as we had expected. Still, Ali was by our side at the hospital the whole time, supporting my husband and I. She brought some pretty lights, essential oils and a big smile and relaxed presence. When we had to make medical decisions, we could consult her and when my husband rested, she was there supporting me. Ali also took some wonderful photos of the birth and of the tender moments right when our daughter came out. We are so glad we have those images! We also hired Ali for two postnatal visits where I was able to talk through some of the big emotions I was having in those first two weeks postpartum. It was nice to process with Ali and I appreciated her help in the kitchen with food prep. Ali also brought us some sweet gifts :-) Ali is reliable, kind and supportive and I am glad she has been a part of our lives and our birth experience.

Ali was an incredible support for both my partner and I for the birth of our first baby. We found her childbirth education course to be informative and easy to navigate - we especially liked how it was self-paced to give us a chance to absorb all of the information. She helped us feel prepared for labor ahead of time and was super flexible when it came to scheduling appointments. During labor, she was a calming and reassuring presence, providing just the right amount of guidance while still very much allowing for a mother-led/undisturbed birth. She also attended and helped out at my Blessingway, which was incredibly special. We are so grateful for her!

We have had Ali as our doula twice - she was present and supporting us during the birth of both of our daughters. I highly recommend seeking her out for any services, but know that planning for postpartum is just as important as birth, and it is not too late to have her on your support team.

Ali was an incredible doula for both birth preparations and postpartum care. As a partner, I was very appreciative of her support of both my wife, myself, and our 3 year old. Pre-birth, being able to take some time to reflect on the upcoming birth allowed my wife and I to find stronger alignment through the experience. At the hospital Ali was a strong advocate and able guide. In post partum, Ali cooked us one of our favorite meals and had the warm, reassuring presence that we were seeking in a doula. I could not recommend her more to a family seeking a doula or any perinatal care/preparation.

I don’t have enough good things to say about my experience with Ali as my doula. She was so educated and really helped me to understand the process. She was totally supportive of my VBAC and helped me to feel comfortable the entire time. Not only was she extremely supportive during labor/delivery but also postpartum. She cooked me meals so that I could focus my time on my newborn. I really loved her child birth education course because it was self-paced. Bring that I have a two year old, a course that I could do at my own pace was super important to me and this one was perfect!

Ali is amazing to work with and goes above and beyond to make your birth experience the most positive. We had our son during one of the bigger snow storms in Denver. She was there through the whole process and made me and my husband (more my husband, as this was our first child) comfortable as possible. She coached me through the labor pains and stages. My labor was a long one, but couldn’t have done it without her!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ali is the perfect doula. Her kind and gentle demeanor was nothing but wonderful inside the delivery room. She was always there and knew exactly what to do when it was needed, but never interfered with my husband or the nurses (the nurses mentioned how WONDERFUL she was, that most doulas always get in the way, but Ali actually let them do their jobs and was always on top of it). We are so grateful to have shared that experience with her, always and forever family.

I always knew I wanted a doula when I had a baby and when the time came Ali was the best. Her reiki and reflexology treatments we're amazing during prenatal visits. She was flexible and committed to being there for us during a literal snowstorm. Ali is easy going, fun to be around, and accommodating enough to spend the night at the hospital with us while we were unsure if things would progress quickly or not. She took beautiful photos and videos for us, brought us food, gave Doug a much needed break and comforted me during active labor and afterbirth. 💞

If you are thinking about whether you want to hire Ali as a Doula for this special time in your life, I HIGHLY recommend that you do! She is a beautiful soul that brings peace, compassion, comfort, and wisdom to all her interactions. She is honest and kind and would be the perfect person to have during a birth. While I personally have never had a child, I have had her do Reiki on me and it was a truly magical experience. Ali helped me get rid of energetic blockages that I didn't even realize were bogging me down. I felt so light and happy afterwards! I can imagine that her doula services would be just as healing and supportive. I encourage you to talk to her and experience for yourself how amazing she is.

Ali was such an amazing support in the birth of our daughter. Her training in reiki and reflexology helped with some much needed relaxation during pregnancy. My birth was fast and without complication, but I had some unexpected postpartum bleeding and was so grateful that Ali was there with us. My three year old daughter was with us for the birth and my husband was able to be with her and Ali was a lifesaver holding my newborn and doing skin to skin while my midwives were taking care of me. Her personality is so loving and easygoing that it felt like I had a longtime friend with me during birth rather than someone I had only met a few times. No more babies for me, but if I planned on it- she would be there!

Ali is the epitome of what it means to practice humility and grace by default of one’s own inherent wisdom and skills granted through life experiences and natural talents for the ethereal world. She practices this through living by sharing her gifts for bringing forth the energetic spiritual human experience into a palpable and experiential thing to hold and behold and she’s extremely skilled at doing so with such humble notions that you’d never know she’s basically a shaman in the rough!
