About me

Originally from Liverpool, England and now living in Marin County, California, I am the mum of 6 beautiful children and a grandma to one. Each and every birth was unique, whether it was at home, a birthing centre, or in a hospital. The level of prenatal and postpartum care I received, definitely impacted my birth experience and I really feel every mum should feel safe and in control of her choices, as much as she can when she is going through one of the most unique and special moments in their life. I love supporting other parents on their journey, whether it be for advice, support or just to chat about what's to come. Feeling prepared makes for a much easier birth journey :) I trained with Doula Trainings international as a birth and postpartum doula. I have been a volunteer with the Postpartum Support Center through the Marin Diaper Bank and now as a facilitator for the ROSE program. When not supporting families you will find me looking after my granddaughter, walking my dog, hiking, or enjoying friend and family time.

I offer various packages from prenatal visits to help you prepare for the birth, to being there for the birth and after baby comes home during the postpartum period. We can see what you need. I also a Lamaze Childbirth Educator and a Spinning Babies® Parent Educator

Prenatal care, Birth support and postpartum care
As a birth doula, my package aims to provide individualized support, education, and comfort measures. This is normally done in 2 prenatal meetings where we discuss your birth preferences, fears, and concerns. In addition, I practice supporting you with comfort measures through the different stages of labour.

Spinning Babies® Parent Educator group class
The Parent Class introduces parents to the basic techniques for comfort in pregnancy and ease in birth. This three-hour class is for both the birthing person and their partner, who will support them during the birth. This class gives confidence and skills for the birth partner and reassurance for the birthing person. Max 4 couples
