I'm a midwife who found her calling after the births of her children. Truly a life changing experience it formed and shaped my practice and made me into the provider I am. Always learning and growing it's such a privilege to serve all families as they welcome the birth of a child. I homeschool my kids and love to read and raise ducks and geese on the side. Hiking and traveling with my kids is my other passion and as babies allow we travel the US and I get to share the beautiful country we live in with my kids via road trips and National Parks.

My name is Rebecca Gordon. I am the founder of Mindful Family Wellness, Certified Labor Doula, Postpartum Doula, Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator, a North Carolina Licensed Nutritionist, Certified Nutrition Specialist, and Certified Placenta Arts Specialist. I live just north of Charlotte, NC, in the Lake Norman area with my husband, 4 daughters, and lots of fur babies. As a doula and nutritionist whose practice serves the Charlotte and Lake Norman areas of North Carolina, I support birthing people improve their overall health, birth outcome, and mental wellness through the experiences of pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Hello friends!! I wanted to properly introduce myself. My name is Kendall Francis. I am a christian certified birth doula. I serve mama’s in the Fort Mill and Charlotte surrounding areas during pregnancy and postpartum. I am married to my best friend, Collin Francis and we just had the most perfect baby girl, Saylor Grace Francis, born at home on July 31st, 2022. Our hearts are so full! I became a doula because I am so passionate about everything pregnancy and birth but most importantly because I believe women and their families need such a strong support system during this season in their life. I worked in the hospital system for almost 4 years on several different units from ER to maternity, went to nursing school and got my LPN degree all to realize I wanted nothing more than to support women holistically. I studied Exercise Science in college, where I learned the amazing things our bodies are capable of when we treat them properly or move them in certain ways. I've worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab, and as a wellness coach in a hospital setting. I was in full-time ministry, working with college students and teenagers. In that capacity, I learned to meet people where they're at, to comfort and to “hold space” for someone. These experiences brought me to a new understanding of wholeness - body, mind and spirit. This set me up perfectly to team up alongside women in their birth journeys - one of the most life-changing events we can experience!
