About me

The Queen City Doulas Mother-Daughter Team Kaitlyn Foster, RN, PNP, is the heart and soul behind Queen City Doulas and her mother, Suzanne Wentworth, RN, MPH, is the inspiration. Kaitlyn learned much of what she knows from her. Kaitlyn spent countless hours learning from and working with her mother caring for postpartum women. Kaitlyn developed a deep understanding of postpartum care and breastfeeding support from a young age. Overnight Newborn Care: Sleep while we take care of everything else. Your doula will handle your newborn's overnight care so that you can wake up refreshed. Daytime Doula Care: Our postpartum doulas handle everything from baby care to household chores. Labor Doula: Let us match you with the perfect doula for you. We understand your needs and recommend doulas who we believe are the right match for you. Sibling Doula: We've got the big kids covered too, making sure they feel just as special and care for as their new sibling. Newborn Care Classes: Tailored to your family, learn all about your baby with a private newborn care class in the comfort of your own home. Breastfeeding Help: Breastfeeding support tailored to your family's needs. Work with our experts to set up a breastfeeding plan that works for both you and your baby.

Queen City Doulas offers overnight newborn care to ensure you wake up energized and ready to enjoy your day. Our experienced doulas provide personalized sleep routines, expert advice, and continuous support, enabling both you and your baby to sleep soundly and start each day refreshed. When should I book doula services?

We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure you receive the best possible support tailored to your needs. Our doulas are in high demand, and we operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Here’s a quick guide to help you decide when to book: As Soon As Possible: If you know you want doula support, it’s wise to book early. This is especially important if you have specific requirements, such as working with a Registered Nurse or a Newborn Care Specialist. Flexible Options: If you are more flexible regarding the qualifications of your doula, you may have a bit more leeway. However, all of our doulas are exceptional, and they become fully booked around popular due dates, especially by the second trimester. Reach out anytime: Never hesitate to reach out even if your baby is already here! The birth world is unpredictable and we may have availability for exactly the support or referral you need.
