About me
🌿 Hi, I’m Kimberly Johnson—a certified birth and postpartum doula, with additional training as a high-risk doula. I’m passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum season with compassionate, evidence-based care. I’m married to a retired Navy Chief, and we’re a blended family with four daughters and one son, all grown. We’re also proud grandparents to four grandsons who bring us so much joy. My journey into doula work began after my own challenging birth experiences. Those moments shaped my commitment to ensuring families feel heard, supported, and informed throughout their care. My Inspiration This doula business was created in honor of my grandmother, whose unwavering love, resilience, and wisdom continue to guide me every day. Her strength inspires the way we support families—ensuring every parent feels cared for, supported, and empowered on their journey. We’re a certified, family-run doula team serving Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas A mother- and - 2 daughters. Our approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and judgment-free. I can’t recommend Kimberly enough for postpartum doula services. We used Kimberly and Shanice for postpartum night support from the week our twins were born to around 4 months of age. Not only did their services give our family some much needed sleep but they also gave our boys so much love and attention. We are so thankful to have met and used them in those first few months of our boys lives.
