Hi! My name is Ava and I'm a certified birth and postpartum doula through DONA. I think pregnancy, birth, and welcoming a new human are the coolest and strongest things a woman can do. I'm in awe every day of women, their bodies, and how much they carry. I became a Doula not to only help women, but be apart of the village that truly makes a difference in their lives. Bringing women a little bit of sunshine at a time of need is my mission and I cant wait to speak with you.

Hi There! I'm Ava a newly certified birth and postpartum Doula. I believe every mom and family deserves the top level of care and support possible through the most changing and beautiful times of their life. The passion I have for helping mothers and children stretches further than surface level, but includes meeting you exactly wherever you are (physically and emotionally) and going from there. I offer birth and postpartum services to expectant mothers and their families. Birth doula services include support before, during, and a little bit after your delivery. I am present throughout your entire labor and delivery to the best of my ability. Postpartum services include care within but not limited to the initial 12 weeks postpartum. This service includes caring for mother during recovery, household chores, basic newborn care, feeding support, and other things that aid you during your postpartum. I can't wait to meet you!

Road to Birth Support
For those who want the benefits of a doula in preparing for your birth journey and postpartum time, but do not wish for in-person support during their birth. Whats included - 2 in person visits (1-2 hours each) to create a birth plan, speak about your needs for this birth, and talk through any fears, concerns, or struggles you may have. -Education on topics pertaining to pregnancy, birth, immediate postpartum, and the newborn -Go over comfort measures in detail with hands on explanation and demonstration -One postpartum follow up (1-2 hours) to go over your birth, adjustments to your new baby, and answer any questions you may have. -Access to texting/calling as needed throughout your pregnancy leading up to your due date.

Full Birth Support
For those who wish to have before, and during labor and birth support. Whats Included - 2 in person visits (1-2 hours each) to create a birth plan, speak about your needs for this birth, and talk through any fears, concerns, or struggles you may have. -Education on topics pertaining to pregnancy, birth, immediate postpartum, and touch on the newborn weeks. -Go over comfort measures in detail with hands on explanation and demonstration. -Physical and emotional support throughout your labor and birth -Up to 2 hours of immediate support following birth -Access to texting/calling as needed throughout your pregnancy leading up to your due date. -24/7 on call beginning at 37 weeks. -One initial postpartum follow up within the first week.

Postpartum services
Postpartum Doula services include care for you and your new family within the postpartum period. Most of this care occurs within the first 12 weeks, but can be extended if needed. Postpartum support includes but is not limited to -Breastfeeding education and support -Education and practical help with pumping, milk storage, bottle feeding, formula, and sterilizing pump/bottle parts -Newborn care in order to prioritize parents rest and filling their needs -Demonstration and education on soothing techniques, swaddling, and basic newborn care -Meal and snack preparations to maximize rest and conveniency -An extra pair of hands in the house to help the adjustment period go smoother -Two prenatal meetings to go over your recovery, planning for your postpartum, newborn care, touch on feeding, answer any questions, and get to know you and your family better!
