Full Spectrum doula services. Standard package includes birth plan development, minimum 3-+4 prenatal, birth, 1-2 postpartum, on call at 37 weeks, 24hr access to all questions and research library. Additional add on services available. Services range from $1950 to $2500 depending on gestational start of service and location of birth
Experience the benefits of placenta encapsulation, where your placenta is expertly prepared into easy-to-consume capsules. This service promotes postpartum recovery, hormone balance, and increased energy levels. Placentas are blessed with a prayer (if requested), prepared vegan gel capsules and delivered with image and instruction. Cost: $300 for non-doula clients or $250 for doula service clients. We pick-up the placenta within 24 hours of birth notification. $Additional $85 for shipping outside of Charlotte, NC 20-mile radius.
Enhance your birthing experience with our birth pool rental service. Enjoy a 2-week rental at $250 for doula service clients. We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off services within 20 miles. (You will need to provide your own water hose (used for RV water line). *Hose probided
For home births only this package includes a midwife, labor doula, midwife & doula assistant. Doula provides 3 prenatal and 1 postpartum Separate Midwife provides community well model- You MUST have established care to assess home birth eligibility Birth pool rental and placenta encapsulation services included. NOTE: Medicaid does not cover homebirth- fees are paid out of pocket.
The mission of Robins Cradle is to empower our clients by sharing information that promotes their ability to make informed decision-making about their birth plan. As your doula, RCDS is committed to providing culturally congruent care to diverse groups of birthers with the goal of trauma prevention through proactive guidance, mediation, and advocacy. Our goals are informed by our values. Additional add on services available. RCDS requires a midwife for all homebirths (midwife referral and access available) Insurance accepted even if not listed.
Absolutely love Robin and her team. She’s a joy to have around a was truly helpful on my pregnancy journey. As a FTM I was so scared and felt almost clueless as to what to do or what to expect. Let me start by saying how phenomenal and professional Robin Price is! This was my first time seeking a Doula and I had no clue what to expect. From the introductory phone call to my postpartum journey, she shows her expertise through education, support, passion, extreme care and genuine love. She explained all of her services in great detail and also reassured me with her al a carte services to create a dynamic relationship that worked for my family. I mainly wanted support for labor and birth - and although she was unavailable to be with me physically during birth - we met for 3 hours as she equipped us with all of the tools we needed to be prepared! Not only did it ease my mind going into the hospital setting but it also gave me a plan to share with my support persons. Robin was only a text/ call away during the entire labor / delivery AND beyond. She follows up very quickly and will email all material and keep up with all conversations. Every question answered! I don’t know what I would have done without her! She is absolutely amazing. We still stay connected and she still shows her support during postpartum. 10/10 experience and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of Prenatal, Labor, or Post Partum support! I truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for Robin. From the very beginning, she was there always available, day or night, with answers, reassurance, and kindness. No question was ever too small, no time was ever too late. She made me feel heard, seen, and completely supported throughout my entire pregnancy. Robin was incredible throughout pregnancy and labor/delivery! She communicated well leading up to labor, showed up to the hospital in a timely manor (despite having an hour travel time), and was the perfect extra support to me and my husband. Amazing amazing experience with Robin as my doula. She went above and beyond in every aspect from the very beginning. I came to her late in my pregnancy with many concerns about not having the proper support during delivery as my family doesn’t live close and wasn’t able to attend. She educated me and made sure to make herself familiar with me and my request in very little time. I could tell that she truly cared about making sure I was supported during my pregnancy/delivery. By the end of my experience I could say without a doubt that's she does what she does because she actually likes to do it and has passion for it. Robin was absolutely amazing throughout the whole experience, even though I had her for my 4th delivery she brought so much knowledge and calmness to not only myself but my whole support system! I was very nervous going into my tubal but robin took extra time to research, prepare and coach me through all my worries and advocated on my behalf when I wasn’t getting clear answers from the hospital.
