About Desiree

I’m Desiree, a mom of five, an educator, and a certified birth and postpartum doula. I’ve had five unmedicated births (one of those births happened at home…on purpose). These personal experiences helped me find my way to birth support and have shaped the way I walk alongside families today. I know birth and early parenthood can feel both beautiful and overwhelming, and my goal is to help parents feel prepared, supported, and truly seen through it all. My philosophy is simple: Your Journey, Your Desired Way! Your choices matter! I provide evidence-based education, practical tools, and heartfelt support so you can feel confident, cared for, and truly seen.

The Full Experience

This package offers comprehensive support throughout pregnancy, labour, and the early postpartum period. It includes: 2 + 1* Prenatal Visits (option for an extra visit if you feel like you need it*) which includes: Birth Planning & Advocacy, Comfort Measures, Breathing Techniques, Positions & Movement for Birth, and Mindset Preparation & Fear Release + Recording of a Guided Breathwork practice Continuous Labour Support Immediate post-birth assistance (up to 2hrs) 1 Postpartum Follow-Up Visit —within 7-10 days post-birth (in-home or virtual) The aim of this package is to provide personalized support for 1st time families and ensure a positive birth experience. **Additional Restful Nights Postpartum hours may be added at a reduced rate when booked with this package.

Restful Nights - Overnight

Overnight Shifts are 8 hrs in length (9pm - 5am)—3 Shift Booking Minimum This overnight postpartum support package provides families with baby care and feeding assistance during the night, allowing parents to get much-needed rest and recovery. **Additional tasks such as bottle-cleaning/sterilizing, baby laundry and very light household tasks are included **Bundle Pricing Available - Please Contact for additional info

Private Childbirth Education

What to expect

My birth packages include 2-3 prenatal visits to help you prepare, continuous labor support with comfort measures and advocacy, and a postpartum follow-up to ease your transition home. I offer postpartum care for daytime or overnight shifts, giving you practical newborn care, emotional encouragement, and hands-on help around the home so you can rest and recover.

If you’re asking me, DESIREE IS HIGH RECOMMENDED. She blended seamlessly with my midwife team and had such a natural ability to read the room. She knew exactly when to step in and offer support, what I needed in the moment, and when to give space. Her presence required no direction—she intuitively flowed with the process.
