About me

Grace is the proud founder and owner of Graceful Birth Doula Services Inc. in the Greater Toronto Area. She is a professionally Trained and Certified Labour Doula, Postpartum Doula, Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator, and an Association of Placenta Preparation Arts (APPA) Certified Placenta Specialist. She is a member in good standing of APPA, and the HypnoBirthing Institute. Grace has been a doula for over 19 years, attending more than 300 births and supporting thousands of families through all her modalities and her incredible, hand-picked team. She understands the anxiety and confusion that can sometimes be associated with childbirth and becoming a new parent. This is why she is so passionate about sharing her knowledge, skills, and experience with others during this wonderful but sometimes overwhelming transitional stage of life. Grace feels that with the proper support, women have a great chance of having a wonderful postnatal experience. Grace is the proud mom of three adult children and a grandma to four! She volunteers at Heartland, A Church Connected. Grace also enjoys playing sports and travelling.
