Hi! My name is Maggie and I am a DONA Trained and Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I have several years in the childcare industry, spanning various different roles, both inside and outside of the home. I have taken my love for kids and my amazement at the power of birthing people and pivoted my passion to doula care. I believe in empowered and educated choices, feeling empowered in the labor room, and supporting families during the biggest transitional period of their lives. I definitely bring a "birth bestie" vibe to the birth room. I value including partners in comfort measures and techniques during labor. We are a team!

I offer in-depth and supportive birth and postpartum care. Whether you are having your 1st, 3rd, and 5th child, every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum expierence is treated like your first, because in some ways, it is. Every baby is different and every pregnancy is different. I also offer nesting support (cooking freezer meals, laundry, nursery set up), film photography shoots, and overnight care.
Maggie was a huge help to our family when we welcomed our first baby. From working with him at night during the first few weeks of life to helping us navigate the transition going back to work, she was knowledgeable, warm, and caring the whole way through. Our baby loved his time with her, too - she is great with little ones and moms alike. Thanks, Maggie!

Maggie was such a pleasure to work with! She did an amazing job of helping us come up with a birth plan and was very knowledgeable and supportive throughout my pregnancy journey. When it came time to head to the hospital, Maggie was ready to help in any way that she could. Although I ended up having a c-section, Maggie made sure that my room was comfortable and cozy for when I got out of the operating room. She was there to provide emotional support during a stressful and traumatic time and I couldn’t have imagined going through it without her. She came back to the hospital the day after my baby was born to check in and even snap a few photos for us. I absolutely loved working with Maggie and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

Had a great post partum experience with Maggie. She helped me get the baby on a good sleeping schedule at night. She also gave me good tips for breastfeeding. I appreciated having her and it made the transition to becoming a mom a lot easier than I expected.

Working with Maggie was one of the best decisions I made for the birth of my second child. She provided thorough education and emotional support during my pregnancy, and during labor she was an incredible advocate. Her calm demeanor, hands-on support, and confidence helped me navigate an unmedicated birth feeling supported and capable the entire time. I was a little nervous preparing for an unmedicated birth, but once I found Maggie I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. She helped me make the best decisions for me and my baby along the way and I'll always be for grateful for her assistance in that experience. I highly recommend Foothills Birth Journey for any doula needs!

Maggie was an absolute rock for us both before and after the arrival of our sweet boy! She helped us organize and prep the nursery, played with our kids, did chores we didn’t know needed to be done, and provided all the support for mommy and baby. As a 3rd time mom I can say with confidence that having the support from Maggie made this post partum experience the best one yet!

Maggie is absolutely amazing!!! She is extremely knowledgeable and goes above and beyond for her clients. She helped me navigate the many obstacles of life with a newborn, including feeding issues, keeping up with household duties, sibling dynamics, and my transition back to work. Most importantly, she made sure that I felt taken care of and made my mental and physical wellbeing a priority. You can tell she truly cares and has a passion for helping others. I could not recommend her enough!
