Eden Birth Services is absolutely amazing!! I could not have asked for better care and support before, during and after the birth of my son. They are exactly what health care should be and what every expecting family should experience. I wanted a natural birth with no epidural and limited intervention and when my husband and I shared this with Rophe (we met in person in a coffee shop), she was incredibly supportive. We felt immediately comfortable and appreciated Rophe’s knowledge and expertise; it helped us have a better idea of what to expect and what to consider when it comes to creating a birth plan. We decided to hire Eden on our drive home and it really was the best decision ever. The day before my son was born, Andrea and Rophe were incredibly responsive to my text messages on how I was feeling and what I was experiencing. They guided me which helped put me at ease. Even between 11pm-1:30am, they responded to my messages promptly. Andrea met us at the hospital at 2am and I can’t say enough amazing things about her. Her presence is so calming. She shared our birth plan with the hospital staff and did an excellent job of communicating with them. Our birth plan was followed to the tee. Andrea helped managed my pain beautifully and guide my breathing in her very calming presence. My husband was also actively participating with the guidance from Andrea. I honestly believe I could not have had a natural, unmedicated labor without her. The birthing experience could not have been any better and it’s all because of Eden Birth Services! When I found out I was pregnant with my fifth child, I immediately started searching for a doula who truly understood my needs and preferences for labor and delivery. We are beyond grateful for the incredible support we received from Amy and the Eden team during the birth of our first child. Initially, we had Melissa as our doula, and she was fantastic in helping us prepare for labor by walking us through our birth plan and introducing us to helpful resources like their labor & postpartum guide and a hypnobirthing app. However, our baby arrived two weeks early, and Amy stepped in as our doula. We couldn’t be more thankful for her presence and support. Amy stayed with us through the entire 12 hours of final labor, providing unwavering encouragement and care. She was so sweet and attentive, using (and teaching my husband) massage techniques that made a world of difference in alleviating my contractions. She also brought calming lighting and aromatherapy, creating a serene atmosphere that helped me manage my anxiety about the process. One of the most special things Amy did was capture beautiful photos of us as first-time parents—moments we will treasure forever. She was a steady guide for both me and my husband throughout the day, helping us navigate decisions and championing us to trust ourselves. Especially as we had to make fast decisions as the labor progressed. Her guidance and reassurance were invaluable, especially as I had planned for an unmedicated birth and felt unsure about what the experience would bring. After our delivery, Melissa (our original doula) also stopped by and checked in on us in-person and through text, which we highly appreciated. Initially, we were hesitant about having another person in the delivery room or whether we even needed a doula. However, on the advice of friends, we decided to have one, and it was the best decision we made. The level of support, both emotionally and physically, was truly unmatched. So worth the money to have the professional, caring, and kind support for prenatal, labor, and postnatal care. After listening to many birth stories on spotify a doula was the one resource that both birthing persons and partners recommended so I decided to search one out. Getting my husband on board was another story because of the added expense. Now he is 100% in support of doula services after having gone through the experience! Prenatally Rophe was the encouraging, knowledgeable and kind doula that I didn’t know I needed. She took time to check in with me and was always available to answer those weird pregnancy questions and bounce ideas off of. Unexpectedly during labor Rophe wasn’t available but Melissa was. Although we never met Melissa, her presence was calming and compassionate. Even a year later I remember how she supported me with massages and that amazing cold eye mask! Honestly her presence felt like having a loving mom in the room guiding me through birth. I also pushed for 5 hours and she was an incredible cheerleader the entire time!! My husband specifically was thankful for her knowledge of the hospital and how she made it easier to navigate the whole experience. Post natally both Melissa and Rophe checked in on us. We would 100% hire them again. Where do I begin?! We went to Eden in a desperate state of sleep-deprivation with our newborn twins. Casey quickly got us scheduled and set up with Cathy and Kat - who are AMAZING - to come watch our little ones at night. Both Cathy and Kat were incredible with the twins, and were a wealth of knowledge! Over the months that they helped us, they gave us invaluable advice about everything from sleep training, to feeding, nap schedules, rashes, and even weird poops! They were always there to offer support and to help us feel more confident and able as new parents. I don't know what we would have done without their help over the course of the twins' first few months. They are angels! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was recommended the doula services of Eden Birth by a friend of a friend. At first, I was hesitant because I learned a doula is a support person during birth and I already had a support person - my significant other. Being my first birth experience and I wanted to try to have the least amount of medical interventions I decided using a doula service was what I wanted to do and worst case, I wouldn’t use this service for future births if I didn’t feel it was useful. I went into labor and Melissa, my doula, met us at the hospital and knew just exactly what to do. I was very unsure about hiring a Duola, but let me tell you it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It scares me to think about what my labor would have looked like without Rophe. From the second Rophe walked in the room (with a Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee for me - mid labor) the whole energy changed. She knew exactly what to do to help me get in the right head space. I could say so much about why Rophe is so incredible. My labor was 53 hours long, there were many challanging, scary moments and nothing was going as planned. We feel so lucky that we came across Eden Birth Services. This review is specifically for their postpartum doulas. After our baby was born, we knew we desperately needed help (and sleep). We were connected to Casey, and she worked hard to fit us into her schedule as soon as possible. While we had the chance to work with a few of their wonderful postpartum doulas (Casey, Cathy, and Katie), we predominantly got to work with Katherine, and she was absolutely amazing with our baby. We felt like our baby was in great hands while we got some much needed sleep! Aside from the much needed sleep, we also benefited from Casey's newborn class, where she walked us through all the important things we needed to know when it came to caring for our baby (bathtime, swaddling, soothing, bottles, feeding positions, etc etc). The best decision we ever made was to hire the Eden Birth team. From our first meeting, Melissa was so incredibly kind, compassionate and invested in the birth of our first born. Hiring Rophe, Melissa, and the Eden team was one of the best decisions we made in regards to my second birth! I had a long, somewhat traumatic first birth which ended in a c-section and I really wanted to try for a VBAC this time. I immediately felt at ease with Rophe and knew this was the right choice for us! Rophe talked through my previous experience with me and what I was looking for this time around and helped set up a good game plan. As it turned out, I went into labor while Rophe was on vacation, so Melissa stepped in. I absolutely could not have gotten through my labor without her! Prior to her showing up I was telling my wife that I needed the meds (even though I had planned to go without), and she just kept saying, let's wait for Melissa. I did, and sure enough, Melissa's calming, knowledgeable, and supportive presence was exactly what I needed to get through my unmedicated labor. She provided physical support when needed, emotional support (for me and my wife), helped advocate for me with the medical staff, and even brought snacks. I labored for 12 hours and pushed for over 3 of that and she was there through it all. Unfortunately, my baby was unable to progress fully and the decision was made that the best and safest thing was to have a repeat c-section. I was upset but Melissa also helped me see that I had done absolutely everything I possibly could have. Melissa stayed until I was out of surgery and settled into my recovery room, and helped with skin-to-skin and our first nursing session. Even though I had only met her that morning, I felt so comfortable with her and was sad to see her go! She and Rophe continued to check in all week to be sure they were doing all they could to support us in the early postpartum phase. Melissa even provided photos she took throughout my labor (with permission) and it's something I never knew I wanted until I had them. Forever grateful that Rophe and Melissa came into our lives for this experience and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I am so grateful to have worked with Rophe as a doula for the birth of my second child. I was nervous about finding someone who was the right fit, and Rophe was all I could have expected and a whole lot more. She supported me by text message for over 12 hours while I was in early labor, and when I was admitted she came into our birth space at the hospital calm and confident, set up the space to be more comfortable and to work better for me, and kindly but firmly advocated for me with the hospital team when a nurse was nervous about me laboring in the birthing tub. I was looking for someone to provide active physical and emotional support, and guidance with laboring positions when it got really intense, and Rophe was great with this. The birth went much smoother than my first, breastfeeding got off to a great start, and I found postpartum to start out much better because of the support I got through the labor and delivery process. Hiring Melissa from Eden Birth was one of the best decisions I made for my labor and delivery! She was such a big support both emotionally and physically, and I don't think I could have done it without her. My labor was very fast and very intense and she was able to work with both my husband and I to make sure I was as comfortable and supported as possible. She set up the delivery room with hanging lights and a diffuser, offered massage and physical pressure on my back during contractions, walked through my options for positioning and pain as they presented themselves, and also supported my husband throughout the entire delivery. My husband really appreciated her support during my labor to offer reassurance that what was happening was normal. Even though I was seeing a team of providers I really trusted, having Melissa made my birthing experience that much better. And since the providers weren't present in the room the entire time I was laboring, having someone like her who already knew me and my preferences was invaluable for both me and my husband. She was also a big help before and after my labor during her in home visits. She walked through my desires for labor and delivery, provided me with education and resources, and offered wonderful support postpartum as well. She was such a kind, comforting presence from pregnancy through postpartum and you can really tell she loves what she does. If you're having any doubts about hiring a doula, I strongly suggest you do it and choose Eden Birth! It's worth every penny.

My husband and I cannot say enough about Eden Birth Services and Rophe, specifically! From the meet and greet in our home, we felt instantly at ease in adding Rophe to our village, as we navigated the journey that was our first birth (and first homebirth) amongst our circle of friends and family. Rophe was there to guide us both in the preparation, and also answered immediately when this first time mom texted her early AM when I thought I was having contractions (spoiler, I was). She kept in touch throughout the morning, as I continued to WFH, and was checking in with my midwife on the side - who actually happened to be attending another birth at the time (yikes). When it was time to call my husband at work, she let me know and showed up soon after to support us both! For the next 8 hours, she kept us fed, helped me try some positions to move our kiddo into a favorable birthing position, held my hand when things got a little “pressurey”, and helped my hubs set up the birthing tub when it was time. Rophe also took unbelievable photos throughout the entire labor and delivery (neither hubs nor I noticed) and stayed long after Sierra was born to explain some of the medical “jargon” as the midwife did her exam. She took charge and cooked a pizza that I devoured an hour after birth, and kept my mom sane throughout everything. 1 week post birth, Rophe popped back over to help us get comfy with the car seat and baby carrier, and to finally say a good hello to our kiddo. She also suggested another Eden team member, Casey, who gave Ryan and I the best “baby care” class in our home, a few weeks before Sierra showed up - helping us become far more confident as new parents. Ryan and I are SO freaking lucky to have found Rophe and her crew. I doubt our birth would have gone quite so seamlessly without her.

Hire Eden Birth Services! About a month before I was due with my second baby I started thinking about hiring a doula. I spent a lot of time reflecting on my first labor and delivery with my son. I went natural and got through an 18 hour labor with just my husband as my support. He offered me so much strength & comfort just having him by my side. However, I started to realize that we had spent so much time educating ourselves and had so many “tools in our toolbox” for a natural birth - yet when the time came we weren’t able to utilize any of them! I was too focused on getting through each contraction and he was a bit too overwhelmed. So, I started looking around for doulas and that is when I got in touch with Rophe. It was so helpful having her & my husband and I are so grateful for her. I wanted to labor at home as long as possible this time around. I feel like having Rophe guiding me I was able to make every contraction count. Every single one (4 minutes or less apart from the very beginning until she was born) felt so productive. She helped with counter pressure and reminded me to breathe the baby down. I felt super connected to my precious baby girl and we worked together so powerfully. We worked with Rophe and team at the later stages of our third pregnancy. I was two weeks late and Rophe was super knowledgeable during our consultation call! It was on that call that i learned of their post partum doula and night nurse services. I agreed to “try” a night nurse for after the baby was born (which I hadn’t considered after my first two babies) and we’ve never looked back! Our son is 3 months old now and I don’t know how we could have gotten through the last few months without the help. Sleep makes all the difference! The two nurses that we’ve used have been friendly, professional, and we’ve had the utmost trust in them taking care of our baby. They are flexible in terms of changing with our schedules while Sleep training, and also very accessible when we reach out in the off hours with questions. I 100% recommended at least having a consult with Rophe and team - it’s support I wish I knew about with my first two babies !!
