About Nysiah

My background in child development birth - 3 naturally evolved into newborn as well as postpartum care. I've managed diverse households, from single-child homes to twins, building a fluid foundation in routine and safety. My hospital dietary experience taught me the vital importance of strict time regimens, sanitation, and dietary precision. I am currently sharpening my skills by completing my Postpartum Doula coursework and obtained my Newborn Care Specialist Certification. My strength lies in understanding a child's nervous system, introducing enrichment, and knowing when to encourage milestones. I am also very accustomed to handling light meal prep and light household cleaning/chores. and excel at reading a household's rhythm.

Overnight care

*Introductory Rate* Schedule: Overnights must start no later than 10:30 PM and end no earlier than 6:00 AM. Support: I will tend to all baby feeding stations and sanitization, as well as the nursery and diaper changing areas. As well as potentially bring the baby to mom to feed, though bottles are great at night so mom can get more rest! Tracking: I will track, wake windows, sleep windows, and the baby’s temperament, likes, and dislikes.

Postpartum Doula

* introductory rates may vary* Postpartum support can be as simple or hands-on as your family needs. Whether you’re looking for weekly meal prep and smoothies, a few part-time shifts, or more consistent postpartum and newborn support, care can be tailored around you. Support may include newborn care, feeding support, simple meal prep, baby laundry, bottle washing, light household resets, restocking postpartum stations, and giving mom time to rest, shower, eat, or simply have someone to talk to during recovery.

What to expect

You can expect me to make sure all stations are fully supplied, make a list of things that are running low, assist you accomplishing any goals such as getting out the house more with the baby getting more sleep making sure mom and baby are getting the proper nutrients tracking and pushing baby milestones and to get creative as I learn your babies likes and dislikes!

We hired Nysiah recently to care for our 8month old and she was amazing. She is kind, sweet, patient, and very professional. Our little one absolutely adored her and his little face would light up whenever he saw her. It was our first time leaving our son in someone else's care and Nysiah put our minds totally at ease. Even though we could not hire her long term we have stayed in touch and will definitely feel comfortable to have her watch our son occasionally as needed. She is an amazing caregiver and I would recommend her without hesitation.
