I have lived in Florida all my life. My happy place is by the ocean listening to the waves. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful, wild boys. I became fascinated by the magic and mechanics of birth during my first pregnancy in 2013. I had an emergency c-section followed by medicated and unmedicated vaginal births in 2016 and 2019. For all three, I had the same doula by my side sharing her 30+ years of wisdom. In 2023, I formalized my training and certifications and have been focusing on doula work full-time. Aside from parenting my sons, it is my biggest privilege and joy to serve mothers in this vulnerable time, and I look forward to knowing and serving you during your journey. I strongly believe it is the right of the birthing person to choose whatever path is right for them. Every body, baby and pregnancy is different. If you choose me to be by your side, my promise is to help you and your partner bring that vision to life. Knowing birth can be unpredictable, I will do everything I can to ensure you feel safe, loved, empowered and strong every step of the way. I would love to talk with you about your wishes for your birth. Get in touch with me today to set up a free consultation.

Amanda was amazing. When my labor stalled out she knew just what to do. She created a spa like experience for me to relax and within 45 minute I gave birth. Even the nurses were impressed with all of her support and gadgets. In the end it was just her and the student nurse who were there during the birth. The RN ran in to catch the baby (the doctor didn't make it in time). Amanda coached me throughout and kept me grounded and relaxed. As a nurse myself I highly recommend her. Another example of her awesomeness is that I didn't want the full dose of pitocin to be induced (per their protocol) as I knew I could get hypertonic uterus as I had at my first birth. So we VERY gradually used it to help get my body started, and it worked! She was very patient and supported my decisions throughout. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you again Amanda!! I would definitely use you again if I were still local and intended on having more kids :)

I can’t say enough good things about Doulas of Jacksonville, especially Sarah. She supported us through the birth of our first baby in February 2026, and having her there made such a difference. From the start, she was always available for questions and helped us think through everything—from birth plans to all the “what ifs.” I had hoped for an unmedicated birth, but due to some health concerns, we ended up scheduling an induction at 40 weeks. Sarah really helped me shift my mindset, prepare for different outcomes, and feel confident even when last-minute changes came up. When labor came, it was fast and intense, and she was incredible. She guided my husband with counter-pressure and they worked together to help me through contractions, which made things so much more manageable. Even after we got home, she continued to check in, answer questions, and support us as we adjusted to being new parents. We’re so grateful for her and would absolutely work with her again. I’d recommend Doulas of Jacksonville to anyone expecting—it truly made our experience so much better.

My name is Kimberley Homer, and I am a dedicated Licensed Midwife and the proud owner of Crowning Midwifery, Birth Services, and Beyond, serving families throughout Jacksonville, Florida and the surrounding areas. I have been committed to birth work since 2012, walking alongside mothers and families during one of life’s most sacred transitions. Over the years, I have had the honor of supporting more than 300 families as they welcomed their babies into the world across three states and 22 cities. My journey has also included training and mentoring several student midwives and birth assistants, helping to cultivate the next generation of compassionate birth workers. I believe deeply in community collaboration and have partnered with local organizations to promote awareness, education, and meaningful support for the families I serve. Being a midwife is truly a blessing. Serving as a guide for families who entrust me with their care fills my heart with immense gratitude. My practice is rooted in holistic and intentional care, honoring the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. In addition to my clinical work, I am an herbal alchemist with my own apothecary, which allows me to thoughtfully incorporate plant medicine into my offerings. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring my city, traveling in search of warm summer weather ☀️, energizing myself in a high-octane Zumba class 💃🏽, and spending quality time with the people I love ❤️.

In May of 2022 my husband and I witnessed the birth of our second baby girl, at home in total bliss. My husband was involved in hands on appointments in our home, tailored to us where he got to learn about maternal health, how to support /affirm your partner during pregnancy—and he delivered our baby alongside Midwife Kim, confident with her guidance. Not only did Midwife Kim-deliver an outstanding beside manner, traveling to and from our home for detailed, hands on visits where we discussed healthy habits for the type of birth we have in mind, birthing options, birthing challenges etc but she also saved my life. Following my peaceful, serene water birth at our home-a 12 hour labor, I encountered an unforeseen medical emergency where Midwife Kim stood 10 toes down to ensure that I made it through. She acted swiftly to cover the basics and make sure I was comfortable, ensured our baby was well and then made a call to 911. Here is where her policy came into place-we can’t have a baby unless we can get you to hospital quickly if something happens. And it did. Her actions while awaiting the ambulance saved me from bleeding out, panicking and going into shock. It didn’t end there, her team cared for my family while I was away being cared for at the hospital post birth. She stayed with me through an uneasy procedure and became my advocate. I would not be here if it were not for the fierce compassion and the wisdom of Midwife Kimberly. I am grateful for her work and the knowledge she fed me as a mother and the ways she supported me post birth and into my postpartum period. She is a true pioneer in the birthing world and if you are medically able to-this is an experience you’ll definitely want to have.

I believe that childbirth is very intense, hard work, but is not designed to be traumatic, that children are a blessing from the Lord, and in most cases, the discomfort that comes with the WORK of childbirth can be managed well through mental, emotional, physical and spiritual conditioning to promote a smoother transition from the womb to the world.. It is my pleasure to teach and guide parents how to do just that.

"I recently had the privilege of working with an exceptional doula, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our very first consultation, she made me feel seen, heard, and completely supported. She took the time to understand my birth preferences, my concerns, and my family’s needs, and she never imposed an agenda—only offered compassionate guidance and evidence-based information that helped me make confident, informed choices. During the prenatal period, she checked in regularly and provided thoughtfully organized resources on everything from birth positions and comfort measures to hospital/birthing center procedures and newborn care. She led us through practical exercises, helped me build a flexible birth plan, and involved my partner every step of the way so we felt like a strong, united team. Her communication was outstanding—prompt, clear, and reassuring—and she was consistently available to answer questions, calm anxieties, and offer realistic, nonjudgmental support. When labor began, she arrived quickly and brought an immediate sense of calm to the room. She guided my breathing, provided affirmation, suggested position changes that truly made a difference, used massage and counterpressure with remarkable intuition, and transformed the environment with simple touches that made me feel safe and focused. She advocated respectfully for my preferences with birthing center staff, encouraged me when I wavered, and helped my partner feel confident and actively involved. Even when plans shifted, she adapted with grace and kept us grounded, ensuring that I felt fully in control of my choices throughout. Her postpartum care was equally outstanding. She checked in frequently, helped us process the birth experience, and offered gentle, practical support for recovery. She provided hands-on guidance with breastfeeding, recommended community resources, and normalized the emotional ups and downs of the early days. She treated our family with deep respect and cultural sensitivity, always honoring our values and boundaries. In every interaction, she was professional, knowledgeable, and deeply kind. Her presence turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one that felt empowering, supported, and even beautiful. If you’re looking for a doula who combines skill, heart, and unwavering advocacy, look no further—she is truly exceptional."

👋🏼 Welcome. So, you want to learn more about me, my energy, and the services I offer. First things first… take a sip of tea or water. We need to make sure you’re hydrated. Have you eaten? How’s your bladder? Did you take your prenatals today? I know, I sound like a mother. 😊 But that’s truly where my work begins, with the basics. With tending. With noticing. With caring for the small things that protect the big things. My journey into birth work has been a long, winding path with many twists and turns. I began my career designing therapeutic environments for children’s hospitals, studying how physical spaces impact healing, safety, and the nervous system. Over time, that work led me somewhere deeper, into the sacred space of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Today, I am in private practice, Aspired Mother, where I offer birth and Ayurvedic postpartum care services rooted in both modern understanding and time-honored maternal care traditions. For birth preparation, my focus is on strengthening the mind-body connection so you can access efficient, instinctive movement and nervous system regulation during labor. Birth is not something we force, it’s something the body remembers when it feels safe and supported. Through somatic awareness, alignment, and practical preparation, I help you build confidence in your body’s innate design. For postpartum, my Ayurvedic approach extends the midwifery model beyond birth, protecting your long-term recovery and wellbeing. The early weeks after delivery are not just about surviving, they are foundational to your hormonal balance, energy, and emotional health for years to come. Through nourishment, warmth, rest, and hands-on support, I stabilize and restore you at your core. I also facilitate meaningful gatherings and transition support, such as Mother Blessings, Closing of the Bones and postpartum integration sessions , for women who wish to honor this threshold in a grounded and personal way. At the heart of my philosophy is this: Childbirth is not simply medical event. It is a formative life experience. And when a mother is deeply prepared, supported, and protected, the entire family benefits. So, whether you are planning a home birth, birth center experience, or hospital delivery, I believe in shared decision-making, informed choices, and honoring your autonomy every step of the way. I’m here to support you , not to lead you. Not to override you, but to walk beside you. And yes… I’ll probably remind you to drink water along the way. 💛

HELLO AND CONGRATULATIONS! Birth is sacred. You should feel heard, informed, respected, peaceful and empowered. This is my goal for every woman, child, family I work with. I began attending birth for friends and family 27 years ago. I’ve been a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) for two years. I leverage skills gained through experience, self-study, training from DONA International, Spinning Babies etc., plus I’ve acquired NICU-Informed Doula designation and am close to finishing WaterBirth Certification. I strive to continually improve my skills and knowledge. I recently trained in CranioSacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) in order to support my family, but a wonderful and unexpected benefit is an improved ability to recognize multiple conditions that warrant referral to other specialties/practices. I am THANKFUL I was able to make this investment and grow these skills! I am also beginning to lean into other forms of bodywork; all geared toward helping mothers and babies relax, regulate and rest (which is healing). I offer heart, hands, good understanding and knowledge of a variety of comfort measures which I share with you and. your partner in advance (if desired). Equally important, I strive to provide evidence-based and experiential information as needed to enable timely, appropriate conversations with your OB/Midwife and foster a team approach to the birth experience you desire. Words aren’t enough to describe the joy of birth; It will be an honor to support yours! Please call and we’ll see if it feels like a good fit :).

If you're looking for someone to support you through pregnancy, birth, and your postpartum journey, I can't recommend Katherine highly enough. Her passion for supporting mothers and babies is truly exceptional. She is constantly expanding her knowledge, staying current with the latest evidence-based practices, and investing in additional training to better serve her clients. Whether it's birth support, lactation, craniosacral fascial therapy (CFT), fascial release, tongue ties, or infant feeding challenges, her depth of knowledge is incredibly reassuring. What sets Katherine apart is the way she empowers rather than pressures. She deeply respects you, your body, and your family's goals. She listens without judgment, provides a wealth of information, and helps you make informed decisions with confidence. You never feel pushed in one direction—you simply feel supported. If you have the opportunity to work with Katherine, you'll quickly understand why so many families trust and recommend her. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely called to this work. Myself and my four children have personally benefited from her care.

Monica was a midwife to me for my second born baby. After delivering in a hospital with my first baby, I was sure I wanted different with my second baby. Monica was incredible, when she found out it was go time, she was more than prepared! She stayed connected, & we had a quick precipitous labor here my son was born to me in the water just 3 hours after laboring. I’ll never forget this experience and how Monica left a mark in my heart. The most empowering birth right after having had experienced a hospital birth.

Hello! My name is Catherine. I’m a mom to four boys and I’m a Christian birth doula and birth photographer. I became passionate about the process of physiological birth after I had my first homebirth with my third son…it was the first time I truly felt empowered during the birth process and now I want every mother to be able to experience that same feeling! (no matter where she births!) I believe as women we have everything we need to give birth already inside of us but that we don’t have to do this alone! I’m here to hold your hand, remind you of how strong you are and celebrate with you when the hard part is over! I would be honored to be a part of your journey. The way I serve and support women as a doula is best described as “birth bestie” or “birth sister.” I want to truly get to know you (because the better I know you the better I can support you!) and hear all your dreams and desires for birth. I offer a listening ear and a calming presence for anything you might need to work through or discuss throughout your pregnancy journey. If any of this sounds good to you, let’s go grab coffee and chat about all the birth-y things! ☕️ https://msha.ke/jubilantbirth www.instagram.com/jubilant.birth

My husband and I were very grateful to have Catherine’s expertise, genuine care, and consistent support as we became first time parents. At the birth of our daughter there were many times that made me question my ability to continue through a slow progressing labor but Catherine’s support and calm was the fuel I needed to face another contraction. Having her as my doula was the best decision!

Hi, I'm Genesis, a bilingual DONA trained birth doula serving families throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County. My journey into birth work began after becoming a mother myself and discovering just how powerful the right support can be during pregnancy and birth. That experience inspired me to help other families feel informed, confident, and supported as they prepare to welcome their babies. I believe there is no one "right" way to give birth. Whether you're planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, an induction, a VBAC, or a cesarean birth, you deserve evidence-based information, compassionate support, and a care team that respects your choices. As your doula, my goal is to help you feel prepared, supported, and empowered every step of the way. I provide emotional support, comfort measures, birth education, and continuous labor support so you never have to navigate the journey alone. When I'm not supporting families, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband and daughter, creating educational content for expectant parents, or building a community where families can feel seen, heard, and supported. I'd be honored to be part of your birth story.

My experience with Génesis was wonderful. Thanks to her support, I felt prepared even before giving birth. From our very first consultation call, she made me feel very comfortable and shared valuable information that gave me peace of mind and confidence. The day of my birth was an excellent experience. At all times, I felt accompanied, well cared for, and confident that everything would go well. Her support made a big difference during such an important moment for our family. Also, thanks to her, I also met a beautiful community of moms where we support each other, share experiences, and accompany one another in this new stage of motherhood. I recommend her 100% to any mom who is looking for a committed, professional, and empathetic doula.

I would love to be part of your memorable, sacred major life event. I will offer emotional and physical support, I will give you evidence based information for you to be able to take informed decisions.

There are no enough words to describe how thankful that. I had found Zory and was able to have her as my Doula. When I met her, I knew immediately that she was the one and that I would be extremely comfortable with her. She takes her time to meet with you, to ensure you are heard and she does her best to make sure it happens. She pays attention to detail before and during your birth. My birth did not go exactly how I planned, it went along fast and I was supper freaked out, but as soon as she arrived, I felt an extreme sense of safety and comfort. If I were to have more children, I would want Zory by my side again. During labor and during all that pain there is one thing that stands out to me and it was all her telling me that I was doing this and I was doing amazing, etc, everything else was blurred out. You would not regret having her as your Doula and you would want her to be in your life as your friend, because that's how much she cares. Thank you Zory! I am eternally grateful for you
