I could not be more thankful for grey she really help me prepare for my labor even though my birth did not go exactly as plan because my baby obstructed my cervix that caused me to get induced she knew i was aganist being induced and the medication poticion is so horrible but she assisted me and husband to get through 45 hours of my labor i was so exhausted be of the poticion was being increased every two hours that it made labor uneasy because the contractions was coming every minute where you unable to rest i ended u getting an epidural but she help my husband with diffrent positions and comforting measures i will most dinfently refer her to anyone prices are affordable and she accepts humana medicaid that pays for doula and postpartum vist which is a big help.

Drina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and prepared for the day! I was freaking out because at 41 weeks my baby still hadn't come and i was due for induction. My first baby was also induced, and because of the pitocin i begged for an epidural and ended up with a catheter, more stitches, longer recovery, lasting back pain, etc. The first induction took 21 hours. Yesterday i had my second baby via pitocin induction without an epidural! My dream come true. It was painful but she kept me in the zone. She had me laughing and oozing oxytocin and just going with the pain. It was like out of a movie. The nurses were saying that i had the kind of birth they read about in textbooks but never see up close in person. I started pitocin at 11:45am and baby was here by 3:13pm. Having Drina there was such a game changer. I would 100% recommend her and have her there at any future births as long as she’s willing. I am eternally grateful.

Miatta was fantastic and very caring oriented to what I needed after I had my daughter Sophia. I am a new single mom who had no one to support or be there for me. I was honored to have Mia by my side during the birth of my daughter. She provided me with meals through the day and evening, even made some to freeze for when I would be doing things on my own. She helped with night feedings, diaper changes, assisted with helping me heal from after birth by providing baths and showers. She helped with getting us to our appointments and taking part in those. She was very encouraging and always had a positive attitude towards me when I would be feeling at my lowest and discouraged when it came trying to get my little one to latch on for nursing. The care and attentiveness she gave Sophia and I was more than I expected and could have asked for from anyone else. Holly was an amazing doula and general prenatal/postnatal resource. I moved across the country to NSB 20 weeks pregnant, so Holly was my main source of support in the area. My husband and I decided to hire a doula a little bit reluctantly, not really knowing what we needed or how beneficial it would be. When I met Vonda, I immediately got this sense that she was caring and compassionate but yet also very competent and confident in her work as a Doula. This gave me so much comfort, and regardless of whether our goal was to deliver at home, a birth center, or hospital, she was willing to support us and our choices and not try to impose opinions on us unless we asked for them (which was huge since opinions can run very strong and extreme on opposite spectrums in the birth world). What I loved most about the idea of hiring her, beyond being able to trust her and know she was for us, was that she would be the consistency in my care from prenatal to delivery to postpartum. This birth was going to be with my second child but I was hoping to have a successful VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) birth, so everything about labor and birth would be a new experience for me. She met with us twice during my 3rd trimester. Those meetings were incredibly informative and brought us so much peace leading up to what was foreign territory to us. She talked with us about our birth plan and let us know what our options were, taught my husband and I physical comfort techniques that could be helpful during labor, and also educated us on the birth process and what would happen to my body and with the baby during the process. Having the ability to contact her anytime after we hired her to get her input and feedback was so helpful. My husband wanted to be as involved and helpful to me as he could but he also didn't know what to expect and I didn't know what I would need, He really appreciated everything Vonda taught us beforehand, but then also having her with us during the birth to help him help me and to be our voice at the hospital since she knew our wishes and could speak for us while my mind was focused on having a baby and my husband was focused on me. Aspects of everything she prepared us for came into play when labor started, and I can't imagine going through labor and birth without having been as prepared as I felt, even when I still didn't know what to expect. Hiring Vonda as our Doula was worth every penny! I would highly recommend her to any mama AND her support person. She was there for me AND my husband, and if we did it again, we'd definitely have Vonda with us!
