We hired Kayla Buttler for our doula and it was the best possible choice for us. She’s kind, responsive, professional, and everything we needed for the birth of our first child and postpartum care. There was only one issue, and it had nothing to do with her- there was an overcharge on a bill that shouldn’t have happened and added a minor stress to our journey. However, it was addressed incredibly promptly and honestly. Childbirth took ownership of the miscommunication and it got resolved very quickly and easily. Overall, we would recommend anyone go with this company. There needs to be a bit better communication with their billing department, but, again, it got resolved well. We would recommend Kayla to anyone looking for a wonderful and trustworthy doula.

As first time parents, we knew we wanted a doula to help guide us through childbirth. We decided to contact Childbirth Concierge after seeing an ad at our OBGYN’s office and are so thankful we did. The program onboarding and interview process with the doulas was easy, the hard part was picking one as all of the doulas we interviewed were fantastic. We decided to hire Tina J. and it was one of the best decisions we have made in our journey as parents. She was always one text or phone call away during the prenatal period. In the delivery room, she made all the difference. She explained medical situations as they came up to help us decide the best course of action, she helped me with positioning to ensure I went unmedicated as long as possible, and when I decided to get the epidural, she held me so that the procedure could be done successfully. During the pushing process, she was comforting, supportive, and decisive. She helped me push our son out when I felt I couldn’t do it anymore. She even took pictures so we could remember the moment. I cannot imagine giving birth without the support she provided. Apart from their doula services, we also contracted with Childbirth Concierge for their lactation consultation services. I met with Kathy B. before giving birth and I attribute my success in breastfeeding to the information she shared with me and the encouraging support she provided. I hired childbirth concierge for my birth doula, postpartum doula, and lactation services. I am not exaggerating: they were my lifeline as a first time mom. My positive birth and postpartum experience was largely due to the kind, caring, and knowledgeable women here. Help from Kathy was only a text away when my baby had latching issues and I needed immediate lactation and feeding support. I was able to get scheduled for in person support the very next day. I also met with her while I was pregnant and she took her time teaching me about breastfeeding. I had a rough experience and I wouldn’t still be breastfeeding today without her continued help. We initially signed up for the childbirth class with Olivia Rocha and found her class to be extremely helpful. After the class, my husband and I discussed possibly getting a doula. Olivia Rocha was available around our due date (which was around the holidays) and she still was extremely attentive and helpful with any questions or concerns. Unfortunately, I had a very difficult labor, but Olivia was the light in such a difficult situation. I am a first time mom and had my baby girl last month. When leaving the hospital, they gave me a list of resources in the area. I had so many questions about breastfeeding, pumping, etc. I randomly reached out to Kathy Bradley and I am so glad I did. I left her a voicemail on a Thursday at right before 5pm and she came out the very next day at 9am! I was so surprised at how fast she was able to come to my home. I cannot recommend Kathy from Childbirth Concierge highly enough! After the birth of our daughter, we quickly realized she was struggling with latching due to lip and tongue ties. On top of that, she wasn't taking in enough milk, which had us all in tears and completely overwhelmed, especially with me recovering from surgery. The relief we felt when Kathy arrived for an in-home visit was indescribable. Not having to pack up a crying, hungry baby and try to pull myself together for an office visit was a huge weight off our shoulders. Kathy’s calm presence, combined with her vast knowledge, immediately put us at ease. She thoroughly evaluated our situation, showed me how to properly latch our baby, and provided several holding techniques to improve feeding. Most importantly, after her help, our daughter was able to transfer the necessary amount of milk, which gave us a peaceful and confident start. Kathy’s support didn’t stop there. She remained available for questions and continued to guide us through our daughter’s revision process and recovery. Thanks to Kathy's quick action and expertise, we were able to save our breastfeeding journey. My advice to any expectant mom who plans to breastfeed: 1. Connect with Childbirth Concierge for lactation support as early as possible. 2. A prenatal lactation consultation is just as important as your OB appointments. (Had I done this, I would’ve been so much more prepared!) 3. Don’t wait until after the baby is born to establish this relationship—insurance verification can take time, and you don’t want to be in a crunch like we were. I had a wonderful experience working with Childbirth Concierge! After doing some research, I found studies that concluded having a doula can decrease labor time and c-section risk. I asked my OB for a recommendation and he gave me the information for Childbirth Concierge. They had me interview multiple doulas to find the one that I connected most with. I will say, all the doulas we interviewed were very qualified, but Michelle and I connected very quickly. Michelle was extremely helpful!! She helped me with my birth plan and I was able to reach out to her anytime with questions as delivery was approaching. My husband and I are so happy we had Michelle there to walks us through the process as we were first timers. She has a kind, gentle, and calming demeanor and is also very knowledgeable with the birthing process. She kept me moving and changing positions to aid with the labor process. Unfortunately, I had a long labor and difficult delivery. Michelle stayed with us for a very long time, but being a doula is very exhausting, so she had her colleague Devi switch out with her to ensure I had a doula that was able to give full support. I have so much appreciation for Devi coming in the middle of the night for the home stretch. She made sure to keep me going in my final hours till delivery. I definitely recommend both Michelle and Devi if you are looking for a doula. I would also mention that Kathy has been a wonderful lactation consultant. She ensured my baby was latching and helped make a plan when I was having low milk supply. I am still able to breastfeed and attribute that to her early intervention. Have a lactation consultant on speed dial in the early days!

The entire process from first contact to private session was fabulous as Kathy was highly responsive and ensured to pair us with a professional that fit our needs. She is sensitive to communities of color and that means a LOT to us. You can tell this organization is SUPER inclusive and that is a huge deal! We had a private session with Beryl and it was absolutely amazing! We are not even sure where to start. First off, she is so warm and personable. She has an energy that is contagious and it was so nice to have balance of her own experience as a parent along with the clinical/evidence-based knowledge she had. We had a nonlinear but such a natural experience covering all parts of our baby questions and I just loved that we chose the custom option because we do not have to get caught up in hearing what we already learned from online and our doctor. We ended up hitting all of our questions so quickly but organically where it did not feel rigid. It was natural in flow and she filled in all of the gaps and concerns we had about the child birthing process. She gave us confidence to face the delivery room with clarity! She looked at our carseat for safety discussion, baby area set ups, nursery, postpartum cart, and all of the main baby places in our home to provide honest feedback. I learned so much about the healing process and breastfeeding that I had no idea about! She really took her time providing us with so much feedback and information to help our decision making. She provided tons of resources after the visit to help us too! You can see she is so passionate about what she does. I cannot recommend this organization enough! Amazing people and experience! Honestly, this would be my first birthing experience and I had played just about every worst case scenario in my head. Thankfully I had met my doula through here, Dreonia, who was an absolute blessing. She is very kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. You can tell that she has a passion for babies and does this with a pure heart. I’m very picky about who I let in my life and have no regrets. I had a natural hospital birth and can say that everything went good. I studied and did my exercises my doula showed me during pregnancy and it helped tremendously. My water ended up breaking at 4am and I gave birth around 3pm, less than 12 hours of labor! I had a great hospital team- my doctor, nurses, midwife, and especially my doula. We've been having trouble getting my 3 mo old daughter to take a bottle and i was getting panicked wirh an upcoming trip. Kathy responded to our inquiry so quickly and was able to schedule a video call day-of. Having Kathy come to my home for breastfeeding support was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was 4 days since having my baby girl, my house was a wreck, I was raw, bruised, and exhausted. She treated me with so much gentle kindness and helped me and my husband figure out nursing. I never felt judged for not knowing what to do and I truly believe that she is the reason I was able to stick with nursing. I don’t think I would have made it without her! The nurses in the hospital tried to help, but really didn’t provide anything helpful. Kathy made things personalized for us and that was amazing. My baby is now 4 months old and is thriving and doing so well. If you are on the edge or don’t know if you need a lactation consultant let this be your sign to go for it! I cannot recommend her enough.

Kathy introduced me to two doulas and I liked them both so much I had trouble selecting one. Jessica was my doula and then I also chatted with Beryl. Because of what I learned after my first birth and with their guidance I switched doctors and hospital, avoided an induction and had a very quick, much easier labor, during which I felt supported, respected and in control. Doctors and nurses may not take the time to really listen to you, explain all of your options, make you feel like you actually have a choice. I wish everyone had access to a doula and would definitely recommend Jessica.

I reached out to Childbirth Concierge services to acquire a doula. You first interact with Kathy who is so helpful, intuitive, and personable. She makes you feel so seen and so comfortable right away. I cried with my husband after my initial meeting with her because I already felt so safe and cared for in ways I didn’t even know I needed. She then connected us with some different doulas. We went with the first doula who reached out, Devi. My husband and I fell in love with Devi right away. She is a doula because it is what she loves to do. She goes above and beyond and feels less like someone you hired and more like family. She has experienced so many different scenarios with her own births which gives her a lot of compassion, paired with experience. She makes you feel so honoured with what your own intuition and gut is telling you about your pregnancy and how you want to give birth. And often can help you understand why you feel how you feel. She will truly help you believe you know what is best for your baby. She is also great at seeing your partner and helping them feel valued and involved. I truly can’t imagine going through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum without her. My husband and I have told so many of our pregnant friends it was maybe the best investment we made towards our journey. All that to say, I can’t recommend Childbirth Concierge’s services enough.

This is a review for both Kathy at Childbirth Concierge and Jessica, the doula that helped me with my delivery. Let me start with the review of Childbirth Concierge overall. I had a fantastic experience, Kathy was very responsive when I had questions about their services, classes and finally when I put in the wrong email and didn’t get a receipt, Kathy sent me one very promptly. What is more is when I had to withdraw from attending a parenting class due to an early induction, I let Jessica, my doula, know and by the time I messaged Kathy to try and cancel the class, she was already refunding me and wishing me luck! Such a positive experience! Now onto Jessica. I hired her because she came highly recommended by family friends that just had their baby in May. I’m so happy I did! This is my first baby, so despite doing research, I and my husband were very nervous about what to expect during the labor process. From the get go Jessica was very communicative, knowledgeable and punctual. I didn’t have many items on my birth plan, but I wanted to try and not have to push on my back, because it seemed counter intuitive and not very empowering. That means of course that I would have to not get the full epidural, and I wasn’t sure that I can tolerate the pain enough, but between my husband and Jessica providing confident and gentle guidance and hip squeezes(those are no joke), I was able to stay with the walking epidural and give birth in the position I wanted. As every other first time mom I had hoped to not get any epidural at all, but as many of us find out, it just doesn’t end up being worth it. At our first meeting I got the feeling that Jessica was very pro unmedicated births, which is good by me, but I was privately worried that if I changed my mind about getting an epidural, she might not be very supportive. Nothing could have been further from the truth. She was very encouraging and supportive, she helped empower me to stick to what I wanted and feel confident about my choices. Even though the attending dr wasn’t happy about my insistence on delivering on my knees, between Jessica, my husband and me getting the walking epidural and not the full one, I was able to stick to the plan and deliver on my preferred position after a pretty short pushing time. Overall, I felt like even though I had to get induced, I was never powerless during my labor and I had such a positive experience, in part thanks to Jessica and I am very grateful to her! Also she did bring some essential oils that helped a lot and took some pictures of the birth that we would have never had otherwise. Long review, but if you are a first time mom, I couldn’t recommend Jessica more! Oh not to mention, she came by after birth and helped us give our son his first bath, he didn’t even cry!

She’s seriously an Angel! I had mastitis that turned into an abscess. I had exhausted all of my other contacts on what to do and was extremely worried about what could happen if I didn’t get proper advice on what to do next. She answered all of my questions, urged me to get it taken care of at the ER and assured me she had seen cases as bad as mine before, but not to worry. She gave me advice on how to nurse after and took the time to explain how mastitis can even create an abscess, as I was confused on how it was all connected. I cannot recommend her enough!!!

Devi was the most amazing doula a first time mommy and daddy could ask for. She supported us every step of the way and encouraged us as we waited beyond our due date for the arrival of our son to happen naturally, which was our goal. Our little boy arrived just one day shy of when they wanted to induce me and we were able to stick to our birth plan of a natural birth because of Devi’s amazing support throughout labor and delivery at the hospital. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone seeking a doula. Her calming and encouraging energy and ability to provide natural pain coping support is unmatched. My baby was arching a lot and having trouble staying on the breast. She even came out to our home to work with us. I have PCOS and she helped me with that as well when it came to lactation support. I’m so happy with my decision to hire Childbirth Concierge for their services. We were paired with Juli and she was absolutely amazing. She was constantly available to answer any questions I had during pregnancy and meeting her in person for the prenatal appointment was so great. My husband and I felt very connected to her and she was so knowledgeable and easy to talk to. When it came time to deliver my daughter, she answered the phone right away and sped over to the hospital. It was like I blinked and she had arrived. Even before my doctor! She did everything possible to make me feel supported, comfortable, and at ease. She also took wonderful photos of my daughter (and I) during & after birth. One of the most helpful things was her guiding my daughter to latch onto my breasts. I had no idea what I was doing and I’m so glad she was there. We’re so excited to have Juli as our doula again when we are ready for baby #2. She’s just so lovely. We also plan to hire her back for postpartum care to watch our little one so we can have a date night or get some much needed rest in the next few weeks/months. There’s honestly no one else I’d trust leaving my baby with.

If you are looking for the best lactation support, look no further - Kathy with Childbirth Concierge was amazing! I contacted them for lactation help before having my fourth child, because breastfeeding was very painful and difficult with my other 3 kids and I wanted all the help I could get to set my son and I off on a successful breastfeeding journey. With Kathy’s knowledge and expertise, we found out that my son had a lip and tongue tie, and chances are my other kids had them as well which is what made nursing g so painful for so long. Kathy directed us to pediatric dentists and the tie was revised, completely stopping the pain and helping my son get all the milk he needs to thrive. Kathy has been available throughout the first couple weeks of my sons life, checking in by virtual meetings and also always being available by text which has been very helpful in answering any questions I’ve had. I am so thankful for her help in setting my son and I on a beautiful nursing journey. Thank you so much!!!

Kathy is so professional, knowledgeable, experienced and most importantly helpful and kind. Always willing to provide guidance and advice even after hours. First she came to my house to offer prenatal classes and was always a text of phone call away. Then months later, when my water broke in the middle of the night, I was so confused and overwhelmed that I had no one else to call and I texted her and with no hesitation, she was there to give me advice. I’m so thankful I listened to her and waited the right time because if not I would of ended getting a c-section. After baby was born, she came to my house again to provide me with lactation guidance. She has been there since day one and still is. She really cares about her clients and their overall well-being and well-ness. She’s also very resourceful, she has recommended other great specialists for my baby to continue helping with lactation. I call her an angel because she has been able to help me when I felt defeated, she just has a great way to make you feel like everything is going to be okay and it’s all going to work out. What I enjoyed too was that it never felt like a business, I literally felt like I was calling a friend.

My Fiancé and I selected Childbirth Concierge on a whim when I was late into my third trimester and Kathy came to the rescue and pulled through for us! She set us up with alternating overnight doulas to meet our needs, and I cannot recommend Juli and Shelly highly enough. They each formed a unique bond with our newborn daughter and really helped it’s to identify, understand and meet her needs. As first time parents we had so many questions and they were each instrumental in helping us get through the colic phase, and more recently with sleep training. I cannot tell you the relief we feel when they walk through the door at 10pm! They both feel like family and we have a very happy and well rested 8 week old because of them. Highly recommend them for any new parents, working parents- anyone!

I would highly recommend Childbirth Concierge to anyone looking for support surrounding birth and postpartum. My husband and I hired Juli as our birth and postpartum doula, and we hired Kathy as our lactation consultant. Both women have been absolute lifesavers for us! Even though my birth went way faster than I expected, Juli was still able to provide assistance. If it weren’t for Juli, we probably wouldn’t have even made it to the hospital in time. As a postpartum doula, Juli has been so kind and helpful to us during this transition to becoming parents of two kids. My postpartum experience this time around has been infinitely better than my experience with my first, and I attribute a lot of that to Juli. Kathy has been a wonderful lactation consultant. She is so knowledgeable, and she helped identify and correct so many problems we were having with breastfeeding within a few days of my son being born. I am actually enjoying breastfeeding this time because all of the issues we had were able to be corrected so fast. I only wish we had known about Childbirth Concierge when we had our first child! They are a great resource!

Kathy helped me and my baby restore our breastfeeding and I am incredibly grateful for her knowledge and expertise! I first used Childbirth Concierge to match me with a doula to attend my birth. As first time parents, Juana helped us be informed and have so much more peace. After my water broke at 2:45am, she was constantly available to me, talking me through my contractions and through what to expect at the hospital. Once we arrived, she made sure I knew what my rights were, helped apply counter pressure, and helped keep my husband calm. He tells EVERYONE that hiring a doula was the best money we spent! Flash forward a year later, I was super close to getting mastitis. I had a clogged quadrant of my breast and NONE of the remedies I tried worked. I worked at it all day long and everything I did actually made it worse!! I reached out to Kathy and she generously offered her time to talk me through a different approach and within about an hour I pumped a whole bottle out and was completely pain free!
