Hiring an overnight doula from Peaceful Passages was one of the best decisions I made for my postpartum recovery. Not only did my doula lovingly care for me and my newborn, she went above and beyond—prepping nourishing meals, providing breastfeeding support, organizing the baby’s nursery, and even helping with my twin toddlers so I could rest. Her calm, professional presence made my healing after a c-section so much easier. I was especially impressed by how seamless everything was—she was professionally dressed, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. On top of that, Peaceful Passages accepted my Carrot insurance and handled all the billing with ease, which lifted such a burden off my shoulders. This service was truly a lifesaver for me and my family. I felt cared for, supported, and able to focus on bonding with my baby. I can’t recommend their overnight doula services enough!

Monica was a midwife to me for my second born baby. After delivering in a hospital with my first baby, I was sure I wanted different with my second baby. Monica was incredible, when she found out it was go time, she was more than prepared! She stayed connected, & we had a quick precipitous labor here my son was born to me in the water just 3 hours after laboring. I’ll never forget this experience and how Monica left a mark in my heart. The most empowering birth right after having had experienced a hospital birth.

I’m a holistic-based nanny, doula, and Newborn Care Specialist who believes that children thrive when they feel safe, respected, nurtured, and truly seen. My approach to childcare is gentle, attentive, and child-led, with a strong focus on creating a calm and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace. I value connection over correction and believe everyday moments—whether playtime, mealtime, or settling down for a nap—can be opportunities to build trust, confidence, and emotional security. As a doula and Newborn Care Specialist, I have a special appreciation for the early stages of development and the unique needs of both babies and parents. I’m passionate about supporting families with patience, intuition, and a holistic mindset while honoring each child’s individual personality, rhythms, and developmental needs. Through child-led play, mindful routines, and lots of warmth and encouragement, my goal is to make children feel comfortable being exactly who they are while giving parents peace of mind that their little ones are being cared for with intention and genuine love.

Rose is an exceptional doula! She always came prepared to the prenatal visits and explained all my options in detail. When it came time to labor she was there guiding me and my family through it. I labored for 40 hours without pain medicine (by my own choice) I used all the nonpharmacological pain management strategies guided by Rose and despite being on max of pitocin I was able to tolerate labor. I ended up needing a c-section but having Rose there along with my family made a world of difference because it kept me calm despite the intense pain and it allowed me to make the right choices for my baby and I… I highly recommend Rose because she is a dedicated, respectful and very professional doula 💕💖

I bring a heart-centered, holistic approach to birth work—rooted in deep empathy, empowerment, and unwavering trust in the sacred journey of motherhood. I believe birth is not just a physical experience; it’s a profoundly emotional and spiritual transformation—for the mother and the entire family. My philosophy centers on honoring your intuition, supporting informed choices, and holding space for you to feel seen, heard, and respected at every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am not here to take control. I am here to walk beside you, uplift you, and remind you of your innate power as a parent. My practice is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the understanding that no two birth journeys are the same. I meet you where you are—whether you're planning a serene home birth, a hospital delivery, or anything in between. Through education, advocacy, and unwavering support, I help parents navigate their options and move forward with confidence and clarity. The postpartum journey is just as important—and sacred—as pregnancy and birth. I believe this period deserves just as much care and intention. My approach is rooted in nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while creating a soft landing for you to heal, bond, and grow into your new rhythm. Whether you're a first-time parent or welcoming another baby into your family, I offer nonjudgmental support, compassionate listening, and practical help tailored to your unique needs. From emotional reassurance and newborn care guidance to light housework and breastfeeding or bottle feeding support, I work to create a calm, grounded environment where your recovery and your baby’s transition are deeply honored. I see postpartum not as a time to “bounce back,” but a time to be held, nourished, and affirmed. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to make you feel seen, safe, and supported every step of the way. This work is more than a profession for me—it is a calling. A calling to serve, nurture, and restore dignity and joy to the birthing experience.

In January, I made an intuitive decision to hire Serene as my doula for my homebirth as a first time mother. From the start, Serene and I clicked. She was highly qualified and very well informed, yes, but most of all she was real! Throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, Serene treated me like a human being rather than just a client. I like that our meetings about birth plans weren’t just about checklists but rather a conversation so that Serene could really get to know me, what I wanted for my birth and my child, and determine the best way to support me. And support me she did!! During my approximate 24 hour labor, Serene was by my side through it all guiding me emotionally and physically. She was my advocate, my healer, my advisor, my friend, and so much more. I could go on about my experience with Serene but I will end it with this- I’m so grateful I was led into Serene’s care for my first baby. Thank you Serene

I don’t even know where to begin… if I could give mores stars I would. Having Marisela as my doula was not something I had planned, but as a first time mom I’m so glad I did. She not only guided my husband and me through the expectancy process headed towards labor, she gave us peace of mind, calmness, and human touch with every session. We didn’t know what to expect by working with a doula, but we were impressed with how knowledgeable Marisela is and how much we’ve benefited from the process overall. Labor will always be unique and hard to predict for a mom but having the right mindset is where the power relies. Marisela did the best in helping us get mentally ready for our big day. My labor overall went well, there were scary moments but Marisela was there to support me holding my hand and just smiling at me like an angel, I will never forget! Aside from her professionalism I cant stress enough how sweet, calm and loving her presence was during the scariest, yet most exciting moment of my life. I’m forever grateful for Marisela and Casa Caracol’s support in bringing my baby safely into this world.

My husband and I are so grateful for Kesli! This was my second baby, and thanks to Kesli I felt much more prepared and empowered for this birth. She was thorough, thoughtful and informative. Her heart and passion for her work and her clients shines through every detail. During labor her presence was comforting and assuring. Highly recommend!!!

October 2026

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to be by my side throughout my pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. From the beginning, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and heard. It never felt like she was just doing her job. I could tell she genuinely cared about me, my baby, and making sure I had the experience I wanted. One thing I really appreciated was how easy she was to talk to. I never felt judged or uncomfortable asking questions or expressing how I felt. She was always reassuring, patient, and there when I needed her. Having that kind of support, especially during labor and delivery, meant more to me than she probably realizes. Bringing Xavier into the world is something I’ll never forget, and I’m so grateful she got to be part of such a special moment in my life. Even after giving birth, she continued to check in and make sure we were doing okay, which really meant a lot to me. I would recommend her a thousand times over. Every mom deserves to have someone in their corner who truly cares, and that’s exactly what she was for me. I’m forever grateful! ❤️
