About me

Hi, my name is Davonia but you can call me Micka. I'm a proud mom of 3 amazing daughters. I have been a birth worker for over 18yrs. Birthwork is my passion. I love everything about it. I recently became a midwife but I have not started working in that field as yet. I love being a doula because I get to ensure that the familiar that I am working with are educated , prepared and supported fully in their birth journey. I advocate for my moms fully and I am there emotionally and physically holding her hand through the process.

Davonia “‘Micka” was exceptional to work with throughout the progression of my pregnancy and when it came to delivery and recovery! From our first meeting, she provided a genuine and welcoming spirit that always provided insight without hesitation to any of my questions or concerns. She was positive and calming during the labor and birth experience of my first child. I’m so grateful for Micka and all of her unwavering support during this journey.
