Hi, I’m Julie Baumgartner, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with more than 30 years of healthcare experience and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. I became a lactation consultant after facing my own breastfeeding challenges and wanting to help families navigate theirs with nonjudgmental, evidence-based care. I had a wonderful experience with Julie- I had just gotten mastitis for the 3rd time in 6 weeks. She made me feel very comfortable during our session and gave me a lot of helpful feedback on nursing positions, supplements, providers that could help baby, pumps, etc- she was very knowledgeable and I felt like I learned so much in our hour together!

Absolutely the most calming lactation consultant. This was my second child and Julie eased my tension. I had an awful experience with my first child not latching and my other consultant made me cry.
