After the birth of my first daughter in 2011, I became passionate about breastfeeding and its advocacy. I had no idea how hard and isolating it would be and desperately wanted help and advice. We moved back to the Capital Region and I found La Leche League! This community of supportive, non-judgmental nursing families inspired me and I became an accredited Leader in 2017. Since then, I’ve been fervently learning about breastfeeding and human lactation. I earned the title of IBCLC in December 2022. I live in Averill Park, NY with my husband, two daughters, our two rescue cats, and a handful of chickens. I love gardening, cooking, cycling, running, pole vaulting, learning new things, and empowering families to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Cara is absolutely amazing! She was so helpful during her home visit and made both my husband and I feel so comfortable to ask any and all questions. She had great information and made me feel so much more confident as a first time mom on this breast feeding journey. There is so much unknown in this process and she has been a great resource. The process of working with her was also very easy, to book, follow up and complete/review all pre-appointment information as well as all of the leave behinds she provided as resources. I would 10/10 recommend Cara to anyone looking for lactation support!

Heather was attentive, kind, caring, respectful, and professional throughout the appointments I had with her. The fact she does at home visits was such a blessing because especially after having a baby, it’s not easy to get up and go somewhere. I appreciated how easy she made the process to apply, schedule, and track the appointment notes altogether (as well any suggestions). I felt comfortable and I learned a lot from her. You can definitely tell she has years of experience and loves what she does! She is also Team Mom and Baby, so she will side on what’s best for Mom and Baby to ensure you have the best breastfeeding experience with your little one. She also is great at following up with you and being available when you need help. She never made me feel bad about asking so many questions (LOL). As a matter of fact, she welcomed all the questions to ensure I was comfortable and confident when it came to breastfeeding my baby. Thank you Heather! My family and I appreciate you and cherish you for helping make our new chapter enjoyable and welcoming!!

Wow, where to even start!! We worked with Lisa as our doula to support us through our first pregnancy & birth of our son. I knew as soon as I got pregnant that I wanted to hire a doula, and after our chat with Lisa, we knew immediately that she was the one. Her depth of knowledge and passion for her career was apparent as soon as we started talking to her. Not only that, but she is incredibly kind and caring - I immediately felt safe and supported by her. Throughout my pregnancy I asked her lots of random questions and she never batted an eye & always provided clear answers and resources. She even said to me “don’t google anything, I’m your Google” and I REALLY appreciated that because I had a tendency to google everything and freak myself out!! But where Lisa really blew us away was during my labor & delivery. I had a hard and long labor that ended in a c section, and I am SO grateful Lisa was there to support my husband and I throughout the process. She helped me get into comfortable positions after my epidural, gave me an incredible massage to help me relax, and kept me & my husband informed about what was going on throughout labor. When I found out I needed to have a c section, she asked my providers all the right questions and comforted me before / during my procedure. She took photos of my husband and I meeting our baby for the first time, and held our baby up to my face for skin to skin when my husband needed to leave the room to move our things to recovery. Having her there to support us through the twists and turns of labor and delivery was TRULY a game changer, especially when things got stressful. She kept us both grounded and calm when we needed it most. I could keep going on and on about how amazing Lisa is, but I’ll finish by saying: hire her !!! she was worth every penny - truly the best investment we made, and I’ll remember her kindness and support forever. If we have another kid, she’ll be one of our first calls. We love Lisa!!! 💗💗💗

Hello, friends! My name is Diba and I'm a registered nurse, lactation consultant (IBCLC), and the founder of My Pure Delivery Lactation Clinics in Cedar Park and Plano, TX. Caring for babies and mamas is what I do…it’s my passion…and I want to share this passion with every family that I can reach! I opened the first My Pure Delivery clinic in 2016, and the second in 2021. Our team of lactation consultants share my passion for helping families, and train extensively to ensure that as My Pure Delivery grows, we continue to meet the high standard of care on which our reputation has been built. Your goals are our goals, and we are here to support you however you need us along your infant feeding journey.

Recent review

I cannot recommend My Pure Delivery highly enough. From my very first phone call to schedule an appointment, the entire process—including insurance—was handled seamlessly by their team. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and supportive. At my first appointment with Noah and Claudette, my baby boy was five weeks old and struggling to latch. My goal was to exclusively breastfeed, and I was feeling overwhelmed. The team provided exceptional guidance, including helping me determine the correct flange size for pumping to increase my milk supply. With a personalized care plan thoughtfully designed by Claudette and Becca, and after four visits, my baby was finally able to latch successfully. I was in tears the first time it happened. At the time, my baby had been losing weight as I transitioned from formula feeding to exclusive breastfeeding. Throughout the entire process, their team closely monitored his progress with regular weight checks to ensure he was gaining appropriately. I would especially like to thank Claudette for her kindness and encouragement. Her reassuring words gave me the confidence I needed, and I am now successfully breastfeeding without any drop in supply. With the right team and the right guidance, breastfeeding truly can feel achievable and even easy. I am incredibly grateful for the support I received. Thank you so much—I sincerely hope Claudette sees this review.

That foundation shapes her approach today: every consultation centers the parent’s emotional wellbeing just as much as the baby’s feeding needs. Outside her clinical skillset, Emily brings something else into her work: lived experience. Emily is a respected community leader. She founded the Feed + Nurture Donation & Financial Assistance Program, which provides free and reduced-cost lactation care and feeding supplies to families in need. She maintains active membership in USLCA, IABLE, and KLIC, and pursues ongoing advanced training, including yearly participation in the GOLD Tongue-Tie Symposium and continuing education in oral function and infant feeding science. Above all, Emily’s mission is simple: to make feeding feel calmer, clearer, and more connected for every family she serves — and to ensure parents feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported every step of the way.

I have been working with breastfeeding moms and families since 2015 and have been an IBCLC since 2023. My passion lies with helping new moms find a way to make breastfeeding work by offering compassionate, holistic solutions to breastfeeding issues. My specialties are with supply issues (both low and over) and pumping/flange sizing. I have special training in tongue ties and oral restrictions, low milk supply, clogged ducts, bottle refusal, and pumping. I love working with moms in every stage of breastfeeding from pregnancy through weaning and helping you meet your goals.

Recent review

I was having a really difficult time with pumping effectively. Even if I produced decent output, I'd end up having several painful clogged ducts. It got to the point where my output decreased significantly, and I was ready to give up breastfeeding and pumping completely. I had one week before I was scheduled to go back to work, and I told my husband that if I didn't figure it out during that week, I was done and our baby would be a formula fed baby. During a middle of the night wake up, I was doing some more Googling about pumping. Someone was looking out for me because I saw a video thumbnail made by Katie (The Breastfeeding Mama) and clicked on it. From there, I found her Pumping Playbook and contact information - and the rest is history! She is very responsive and so incredibly helpful. Through several videos, Zoom calls, and messaging, we finally found my correct flange size - and my pumping experience improved enough that I no longer dreaded the act! My output increased, and my nipple pain and clogged duct reoccurrence decreased. I could not recommend her more and am so thankful I stumbled upon her video. If you're thinking of reaching out to Katie for breastfeeding or pumping help, don't waste another minute! She's totally worth it.

I had my first prenatal consultation with Keneda and it truly went amazing. She was so incredibly personable, warm, and really easy to talk to which made me feel comfortable right away! She took the time to throughly explain breastfeeding, including latching techniques, hand expressing, and what to realistically expect once my baby arrives so I’m well prepared. I really appreciate how patient and knowledgeable she was, she didn’t rush through anything and made sure all my questions were answered. I definitely feel more confident and prepared for my breastfeeding journey and can’t wait to continue learning from her once my baby arrives and get that hands on guidance and support. It’s also amazing that she offers in home visits which makes the whole experience 10x better and convenient during such an important time. I highly recommend her to any other mamas looking for guidance and support, you’ll definitely be in good hands!

I had such a wonderful experience working with Candice. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. She answered every question I had with patience and made me feel completely comfortable during a time that can feel overwhelming for new moms. One of the things I appreciated most was that she came to my home. Being able to get help in my own environment made such a difference because she could see exactly how I was feeding, pumping, and positioning the baby in real life. It made the support feel much more practical and personalized. She was also extremely accessible and responsive. Whenever I had questions after our visit, she was available by text and always took the time to respond with thoughtful advice and reassurance. What I loved most was that she didn't just focus on me, she included my partner as well. She showed him helpful techniques and tips so he could support the process too, which made us feel like a team. We were struggling with latch/clicking sounds during feeding and thinking there was a possible tongue/lip tie and uncertain who to go to and how to go about getting it checked out. Candice gave us great recommendations for trusted specialists to follow up with. Having that guidance made navigating everything so much easier. I truly can't recommend her enough. Her kindness, knowledge, and ongoing support made a huge difference in our breastfeeding journey.

Hi! I’m Natasha Mizner, RN, BSN, IBCLC and the Founder and Co-Owner of Good Life Lactation! I started my career working at the bedside as a mother/baby RN for 10 years. Helping thousands of breastfeeding dyads in those first few days after birth made me realize the importance of education and support for families in the postpartum period. Since 2021, I have experience in both the hospital setting and private practice as a lactation consultant. I opened Good Life Lactation in 2022 with the goal of providing non-judgmental, evidence based, quality support to families. In 2024, I brought Emily on as a co-owner to be able to reach more families. My husband and I have three daughters ages 11, 7 and 2. Our youngest gave us a challenge as an infant. We worked through silent reflux, oral dysfunction, bottle difficulties, weight gain concerns and had her tethered oral tissues released. It was a difficult first 6 months, but we made it through and she is thriving. As part of my commitment to providing the best possible support, I am passionate about continuing my education and staying up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in lactation consulting. I have advanced training in oral habilitation and tethered oral tissues (tongue/lip ties). When I hear stories about families who have gone through breastfeeding difficulties with little to no support- the potentially avoidable stress, pain and guilt that they experienced breaks my heart. Families deserve better! While I can't promise to solve all issues or guarantee a flawless feeding journey, I can offer my support and expertise to guide you. I consider it an honor to help families navigate feeding their little ones.

Great flexibility with scheduling and meeting location, and very friendly! Emily has a lot of knowledge and was great at adapting to our unique situation and providing the kind of support we needed. I liked that the LCs weren’t pushy or judgy in any way. I would recommend Good Life Lactation to anyone just starting out or struggling to feed their baby.

Abbie is so wonderful! We did our first appt at home and a follow up in her office which was so comfortable and welcoming. As a FTM, Abbie helped me get setup for success with regular feeds and pumping. I wasn’t having and “issues” but wanted to be preventative and I’m SO glad I did, I learned so much. Also her follow up notes were detailed which was so helpful referring back to them for different things. Highly recommend!

Kim is the best, and was such a pleasure to work with after the birth of my first baby. She is very professional and well informed, but also so personable and approachable and really fun to talk to. It’s very apparent she is passionate about and loves what she does. She provides a great blend of studied and lived experience, and is very willing to meet families where they’re at. Brianna has been incredibly helpful in my journey to feeding my child. From breast-feeding, to proper latch, to weight gain, to finding and changing formulas, then fully weaning my child… She has been there alongside me, helping me be the best version of myself. She has the most kind and supportive demeanor. Although I started off feeling a lot of frustration on my feeding journey because I couldn’t breast feed how I wanted, I’ve only ever felt my baby and I were supportsd loved and cared for by Brianna. Ultimately we developed the perfect latch for my son and the perfect milk supply. I never got mastitis once even while I was weaning him and drying up milk. I’m so grateful I had Brianna to help me navigate my feeding journey because it went so smoothly! I also used her night nanny services and she and her team were outstanding in supporting me a few days a week to give me a little time to myself and give me tips and tricks for navigating the newborn stage at night! Thank you so much Brianna, I’m a better version of myself because of your support!

For any interested expecting Mama’s; don’t hesitate. If you’re looking at this it’s probably because you are considering a Lactation Consultant. Please set yourself and your baby up for success with Evonne. I had a discovery call with Evonne about 10 days before I gave birth and then saw her a handful of times after. Breastfeeding is a roller coaster and I honestly would have given up if it weren’t for Evonne. She helped with getting my baby to latch comfortably and also helped with bodywork and her neck tension. Evonne has such a calm and nurturing approach to her care. She even helped me learn the best ways to encourage my baby to sleep and massages to help with constipation. Before seeing Evonne, my baby girl had lost 8% of her body weight in the first few days but after just one appointment with Evonne, she “overachieved” on getting back on track. Shes growing so well now! We also saw Hideko for a bodywork session and she was so gentle and amazing at explaining to us everything that she was noticing. She gave us homework to help our baby also and we saw the difference in just a few days. Our baby became so much more comfortable. Both Evonne and Hideko are so flexible with in-office offerings, home visits and virtual follow-ups. They provided so much information and tutorials also to review. My family and I are so beyond grateful to Evonne and Hideko. You are in amazing hands with them!
