About me

Hello! My name is Mariel (she/her). I am an IBCLC with special training in oral function and oral tethered tissues (tongue and lip ties). As a former dentist I have a deep knowledge of the mouth and proper sucking skills and its impact on optimal feeding. As a mother of two breastfed kids, I have a personal experience of the ups and downs of bringing up babies to their full potential. I offer my experience and expertise to new parents. I am here to support your feeding goals, with flexibility and compassion.

Service introduction

I provide in home lactation support to families in the Westchester/lower Connecticut area. Either a first time parent, having difficulties/painful latch, troubleshooting feeding or going back to work, I will do my best to support your feeding journey and give you the skills and confidence you need to ace the most natural and rewarding need to feed your child, your way.
