Mariel is lifesaver - she helped us navigate a super stressful first few days home when I had a hungry baby and no milk yet. She is knowledgeable, practical and kind. Some LCs in the hospital pushed breastfeeding no matter what, Mariel actually listened to our situation and preferences and gave us a plan that worked for us (which included a few days of formula so baby was fed while we worked to build my supply). I am so glad we had a virtual visit while I was pregnant and scheduled her for the first morning I was home from the hospital — feeding would have been SO much more stressful without her. Anthem BCBS covers 6 visits. My husband and I sing her praises all the time and could not recommend her more.
