Kim is the best, and was such a pleasure to work with after the birth of my first baby. We had a super informative prenatal session, and she made herself readily available for a home visit right after my daughter’s arrival. She is very professional and well informed, but also so personable and approachable and really fun to talk to. It’s very apparent she is passionate about and loves what she does. She provides a great blend of studied and lived experience, and is very willing to meet families where they’re at. Working with her was a huge element to the success of my breastfeeding journey, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive, and caring IBCLC! I miss seeing her already! ♥️

Kim was the entire reason I was able to breastfeed my daughter for an entire year. To this day she still answer questions I may have regarding my breastfeeding journey . I have four children and was not able to breastfeed with my three previous. I highly recommend Kim . She is very knowledgeable and caring. She responded to my needs along with daughters quickly and always ensured I was comfortable with the process.

I began seeing Kim shortly after my first son was born. He had a hard time latching on and breastfeeding was very important to me. Kim was so supportive and helpful! She helped me find the right pump and showed me different ways to support my baby in breastfeeding. He now LOVES nursing! Kim has so much knowledge about lactation and always answered all of questions. She made me feel so safe and supported during our sessions and I had a wonderful experience working with her and will definitely be using her again in the future!

Kim came the first week my son was born, she helped so much with latching. She also helped me with my pumps. Kim was amazing, caring and a huge help! I wouldn't have gotten as far in my journey if it wasn't for her! I wish I knew her when I had my daughter but I'm grateful for finding her with my son !

Kimberly is amazing. She was a life saver during the rough beginning of my BF journey. She was always there for me when needed, and I was able to reach my goals thanks to her advice. I 100% recommend her.

Kim has been amazing to work with! Kim came to our house after our baby was born and came for multiple follow up visits. She helped me figure out my pump, navigate starting solids, and was just an all around amazing baby resource for both me and my husband! She is always quick to respond when I have a random question, addresses any concerns I have, and is just so patient and kind. I cannot recommend her enough.

Kim was instrumental in mine and my daughter's breastfeeding journey. We met with her within the first two weeks of baby's life through to the 4 month mark. I almost canceled that first visit because my husband had COVID and baby and I were barely holding it together and staying with family. Kim kindly drove the extra miles to come to us during that time. From latch issues, lip/tongue ties, bottle refusal, and everything in between, Kim was there to answer all this FTM's questions and concerns. Sometimes I just needed support and justification for my actions and she was present for those needs at any time (it seemed like I was always reaching out on Sundays and late night). Our lactation consultant journey has been over for a couple months now, and I reached out to her last week with a new question and she instantly responded. It also helps that our doula AND midwife team knew Kim personally (did not realize this until after we hired her). She surrounds herself with other great women! AND BONUS - my insurance covered all visits. I'm happy to report that our breastfeeding journey is likely far from over. I have come to really love breastfeeding and would not be at this point without Kim's guidance.

I am so lucky that I was provided with Kim's information by Holistic Birth & Beyond. First of all, there was an issue with my insurance coverage and she put in the time to apply to TLN so I wouldn't have to stress about it in the first few days postpartum which was so incredibly appreciated. She has come to our home making the visits so convenient and shebeen extremely helpful in my breast feeding journey. Kim has made the experience enjoyable for me and my baby girl and she is thriving! Kim is so knowledgable in breast feeding, bottle feeding, and pumping and is very professional. I am excited to continue working with her to prepare for my return to work transition as well as the continuum of feeding including the introduction of solids and weaning. I would highly recommend Kim to any new mom no matter whether your EBF, EP, or formula feeding.

Kim was such an important part of my breastfeeding/pumping journey. Would highly recommended her!

Kim was a pleasure to communicate with. She was very compassionate, and understanding when I shared my story of my difficult breastfeeding journey of our first child; it was reassuring to know Kim wanted me to not have to go through a similar battle a second time. She was very willing to go out of her way to help us receive financial coverage through insurance. Unfortunately due to difficulties with our insurance company, we were continuously denied coverage which was vital for our family, so we were not able to continue working with Kim. If anyone is looking for a lactation consultant, I would highly recommend Kim; she is continuing to get in-network for more health insurance companies to be assessable to as many as possible, she just hadn’t gotten through the process for ours yet.

I'm so glad I worked with Kimberly. She helped me figure out my best pump, flanges, and strategy for my transition back to work. This support has made a huge difference to reduce my stress going back to work.

I avoided seeing a lactation consultant because the ones I looked into were so expensive… so I muddled through difficult feedings for several weeks after our baby was born. My chiropractor recommended Kim and when I saw her prices were half of what others I had looked into cost, I scheduled an appointment. She noticed right away our baby had significant tongue and lip ties. She gave us a referral to get them released and followed up with us. Kim knows her stuff. She’s been a wonderful resource. I would definitely recommend Embracing Lactation for your breastfeeding and lactation needs!

I initially visited with Kim because my 6 month old son refused a bottle. She gave me tips for getting him to bottle feed, but more importantly she was encouraging and made me feel much better about our situation. Would recommend her services to any parent seeking out advice for a similar situation or any lactation related information!

Kimberley is amazing! We have seen her two times already and scheduled a third visit and looking forward to it. Her package deals are also nice as they cover everything in one visit and all one cost. My son had a lip and tongue tie and she diagnosed right away. Also had good tips and recommendations on latching l, pumping building milk supply and much more! I would recommend her to anyone!

Kim saw me after my baby and I had seen multiple others within the lactation support community without making any progress. At the time I was feeling defeated and unsure of what my breastfeeding journey would look like with my son. She took an extensive look at his mouth and his ability to latch at breast and bottle, we even talked about my own comfort with pumping around the clock while also exclusively nursing his twin. She offered so many great suggestions and helped fix a few things while we were there. One super simple suggestion she had helped my son significantly with latching. All this to say, I highly recommend Kim and if you're thinking about giving up, don't just yet! Give a visit with Kim a try first. Her knowledge is great and she's very warm and welcoming, I felt comfortable every step of the way.

Embracing Lactation was recommended by my midwife and I’m so glad I contacted Kim. She was easy to get a hold of and schedule with, she came right out to meet me and my son at our home. She also verified my insurance would cover our visits 100% before I even had time to think about that piece. Unbeknownst to me, my newborn had a lip and tongue tie, with such a shallow latch it was nearly impossible to nurse. He was dropping weight, and I was experiencing significant nipple trauma. Kim identified the lip and tongue tie, and helped me schedule a revision with a local doctor. She also put together a comprehensive care plan to ensure we did all we could to make the frenectomy effective and get our breast-feeding journey back on track. We’re so grateful for her guidance during this scary process. Not only is Kim a very knowledgeable resource, she’s a lovely person. She followed up the entire time offering support and encouragement. She made a huge difference in our outcome and I am so pleased to say my baby is chunking up and growing strong.

I found Kim through a quick Google search, as I had a preemie who lost over 10% of her body weight and had some issues latching. Kim came to my house and assessed my latch and my daughter's mouth and gave us tips and tricks to help us through. Kim is very knowledgeable and checks in frequently and even sent a short video on how to ease my daughters gas pains, worked immediately. She made me feel comfortable and more at ease with nursing. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Kim is extremely knowledgeable and quickly identified the source of my struggles with breastfeeding. She put me at ease and offered great solutions and tips. I feel so relieved and can't recommend her enough!

Kim is absolutely amazing! I have struggled with low supply, yeast and mastitis between both of my boys and Kim has been a tremendous help through each and every challenge I’ve encountered along the way. She not only has a wealth of knowledge but has incredible first hand experience as well. I was at such a loss when I tried contacting lactation consultants in my area only to find no one would get back to me. Kim responded to me within the hour I contacted her and was able to identify the problem and help me manage my pain until I was seen by a dr for a prescription. She is so kind and genuinely loves what she does and wants to help women in their breastfeeding, pumping or bottle feeding journeys. I am so excited to continue working with her in the future. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to help me “Embrace Lactation.”

I originally discovered Kimberly on YouTube. I started following her in 2019 when I had my first baby. I had so much trouble nursing and was desperately looking for more information on pumping. Her channel really guided me in the right direction. Fast forward to 2022 - I recently had my third child and still have so many questions because I am struggling to keep my milk supply up and with the formula shortage, I am even more nervous. Kimberly has been extremely helpful and responsive when it comes to all of my breastfeeding questions and concerns. I am happy for her to embark on this business, Embracing Lactation. When speaking with her and following along her social platforms, you can really see she has a passion for helping mothers whatever their feeding journey is with their littles. Highly, highly recommend!
