Heather was attentive, kind, caring, respectful, and professional throughout the appointments I had with her. The fact she does at home visits was such a blessing because especially after having a baby, it’s not easy to get up and go somewhere. I appreciated how easy she made the process to apply, schedule, and track the appointment notes altogether (as well any suggestions). I felt comfortable and I learned a lot from her. You can definitely tell she has years of experience and loves what she does! She is also Team Mom and Baby, so she will side on what’s best for Mom and Baby to ensure you have the best breastfeeding experience with your little one. She also is great at following up with you and being available when you need help. She never made me feel bad about asking so many questions (LOL). As a matter of fact, she welcomed all the questions to ensure I was comfortable and confident when it came to breastfeeding my baby. Thank you Heather! My family and I appreciate you and cherish you for helping make our new chapter enjoyable and welcoming!!

Our team of lactation consultants share my passion for helping families, and train extensively to ensure that as My Pure Delivery grows, we continue to meet the high standard of care on which our reputation has been built. Your goals are our goals, and we are here to support you however you need us along your infant feeding journey.

I cannot recommend My Pure Delivery highly enough. From my very first phone call to schedule an appointment, the entire process—including insurance—was handled seamlessly by their team. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and supportive. At my first appointment with Noah and Claudette, my baby boy was five weeks old and struggling to latch. My goal was to exclusively breastfeed, and I was feeling overwhelmed. The team provided exceptional guidance, including helping me determine the correct flange size for pumping to increase my milk supply. With a personalized care plan thoughtfully designed by Claudette and Becca, and after four visits, my baby was finally able to latch successfully. I was in tears the first time it happened. At the time, my baby had been losing weight as I transitioned from formula feeding to exclusive breastfeeding. Throughout the entire process, their team closely monitored his progress with regular weight checks to ensure he was gaining appropriately. I would especially like to thank Claudette for her kindness and encouragement. Her reassuring words gave me the confidence I needed, and I am now successfully breastfeeding without any drop in supply. With the right team and the right guidance, breastfeeding truly can feel achievable and even easy. I am incredibly grateful for the support I received. Thank you so much—I sincerely hope Claudette sees this review.

I’m incredibly grateful to have had her as my lactation consultant during the first few months of my breastfeeding journey. From the very beginning, she was so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and supportive. She helped me through so many questions and challenges, from breastfeeding and pumping to building my milk supply and figuring out what worked best for my baby and me. Her guidance gave me so much more confidence during a time when I often felt overwhelmed and unsure of myself. One thing that really stood out to me was how much she genuinely cared about my well-being. One night, I had a really bad breast engorgement and was very uncomfortable and worried. The next day, she called me to check on how I was doing and made sure I was okay. She took the time to listen, guide me, and help me figure out what to do. That meant so much to me because it showed that her care went beyond just the scheduled visits. She is also extremely professional and prepared. Every time she came to our home, she arrived with all of her materials clean, sterilized, and organized. You can tell that she takes her work very seriously and puts a lot of thought into every visit. She always came prepared to address whatever concerns I had that day and made every visit feel personalized to our needs. What I appreciated most, though, was the way she made me feel. She was never judgmental or pushy. She always listened to my concerns, explained things clearly, and reassured me when I needed it most. During those early months, having someone who was not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and genuinely invested in our breastfeeding journey made such a difference. She is truly an amazing lactation consultant and an even better person. I feel very lucky that we found her, and I will always be grateful for all the support, encouragement, and care she gave me and my baby. I highly recommend her to any mom looking for someone who is knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to helping families succeed. We love you Claudia ❤️

Kiara Thomas

My name is Kiara Thomas, and I am the Certified Senior Lead Birth and Postpartum Doula and founder of Love How You Heal. I proudly serve families throughout the DFW metropolitan area and Oklahoma, offering compassionate, affirming, and holistic doula care rooted in dignity, advocacy, emotional safety, and education. My journey as a doula began over five years ago through a deep calling to support families during one of life’s most sacred and transformative seasons. I believe birth and the postpartum period are not merely medical events, but profound transitions that deserve to be honored with presence, intention, and respect. I am also a mother of five children, all of whom I birthed naturally. My personal birthing experiences deeply inform my approach to care and reinforce my belief in the body’s innate wisdom. I am passionate about creating spaces where mothers feel safe, supported, and empowered to trust their bodies, their intuition, and their unique journey. At Love How You Heal, we believe wholeheartedly that when the mother is cared for, the baby is cared for. Our doula services are thoughtfully designed to be affordable, flexible, and supportive, meeting families exactly where they are without judgment or pressure. As a birth doula, my services include prenatal education, Lamaze breathing techniques to support natural childbirth, personalized birth plan creation, continuous labor support, physical comfort measures, advocacy, and intentional partner support. My role is to protect the birthing space so a mother feels free to surrender, soften, and allow her body to do exactly what it was designed to do whether at home, a birth center, or in a hospital setting. My care philosophy is deeply rooted in holistic healing. I incorporate practices such as aromatherapy, meditation therapy, sound therapy, and water therapy to promote grounding, relaxation, and emotional regulation. This holistic approach extends beyond birth and into everyday support throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period. Postpartum care at Love How You Heal centers on rest, recovery, and emotional well-being. Services include daytime and overnight newborn care, lactation guidance and education, newborn care assistance, emotional check-ins, and nervous system support. As part of our postpartum offerings, mothers may also receive complimentary relaxation-focused therapies such as back, leg, and foot massage to reduce tension, support healing, and promote restoration after birth. I have had the honor of supporting diverse families, including first-time parents, growing families, single parents, and families from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. My approach is inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming, always personalized to each family’s values, needs, and birth preferences. Love How You Heal offers complimentary 30-minute consultations, providing space for mothers and families to ask questions, explore their desires, address concerns, and feel fully informed before committing to care. I believe childbirth can be a positive, empowering, and deeply rewarding experience and that it is simply more time spent with your baby before they take their first breath into the world. It is my honor to walk alongside families with care that honors their strength, resilience, and unique journey into parenthood.

There are truly no words big enough to express how grateful I am for Kiara Thomas with APS and Treichae. During one of the most emotional and vulnerable seasons of my life, they became my village when I had no family or friends in town. They didn’t just provide postpartum and overnight newborn care they showed up with genuine love, compassion, and heart. One of the most touching moments was when they surprised me with a baby shower after my daughter was born. Knowing I had no support system nearby, they went out of their way to make me feel celebrated, seen, and cared for. That alone meant more to me than I can ever fully explain. They were truly on call 24/7, always available to answer my questions, calm my worries, and support me as a new mom. When my baby girl struggled to latch the way I had hoped for breastfeeding, Kiara provided reassurance, education, and emotional support without judgment reminding me that I was doing my best and that my baby was loved and thriving. On top of everything else, Kiara was incredibly understanding of my financial situation and worked with me to make care affordable without ever making me feel uncomfortable or ashamed. That level of compassion and flexibility is rare and deeply appreciated. Kiara and Treichae didn’t just care for my baby they cared for me. I will forever be thankful for the role they played in my postpartum journey and would recommend them to any family looking for support that goes far beyond expectations.

Hi, I’m Avery. I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and, most importantly, a mom to two little ones who inspired my passion for supporting families during the early stages of parenthood. My own experiences with motherhood showed me just how beautiful, overwhelming, and transformative this season can be. I know firsthand how much parents want to simply soak in those newborn moments without feeling stressed, confused, or alone when feeding challenges arise. That understanding is what led me to this work. I truly believe that lactation support is not a luxury. It is a vital part of prenatal and postpartum care. Every family deserves access to compassionate, evidence-based, and affordable support during such a vulnerable and important time. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and supported as you navigate feeding your baby. Whether you’re preparing during pregnancy, working through challenges, or simply looking for reassurance, I’m here to listen, guide, and help you find what works best for you and your baby.

Avery is so sweet, encouraging & makes you feel comfortable! She handles your baby with care & pays attention to what you need help with. She recommended some exercises to do for my baby & advice on how to relieve some pain I had from a shallow latch. It’s also a huge plus that she will come to your home! So nice to not have to go anywhere & be in the comfort of your home.

It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Fontanne Bassey. She cared for my baby, Amelia, and was truly exceptional in every way. Fontanne stood out immediately for her professionalism, warmth, and deep expertise in newborn care. Fontanne specializes in working with newborns and demonstrated remarkable knowledge of baby development and activities.
