Krista is like an angel! As soon as I interviewed her she made me feel so comfortable, and I knew she was to Doula for me throughout my pregnancy. She would check in to see if I had any questions, and to check how I was physically and emotionally. If I did have questions, she was always so great at getting back to me quickly. She also came to a prenatal appointment with me to meet my Midwife, which I thought was really cool. I had contractions for days before actual labor, and she was ready to help as soon as I needed her. I labored at home with her by my side and she was such a comfort. She also helped my husband feel reassured, which helped him feel confident in helping me himself. She also encapsulated my placenta for me. I didn’t know whata doula was with my first pregnancy three years before, and having her made all the difference in labor. I wish everyone could use her as their Doula. The fact that she’s a mom herself who has used many of the techniques she help me use to stay calm, breathe through the pain, and be confident about birth was so comforting. She cares so much about the mom she’s trying to help and you can feel the love she has for her role as a Doula. I would choose her again and again.

I am a birth and postpartum doula, NICU mom, and a military wife, whose passion for this work was shaped by my own early motherhood experience. I had my first baby halfway across the country during COVID, farm from family and community. That season taught me how powerful it is to feel truly supported, and it became the foundation for the way I show up for other families. I have had the honor of supporting friends and families through both home births and hospital births, and I love walking alongside parents through the many different paths birth birth can take, with a professional foundation in Kinesiology, I understand deeply how the body functions in pregnancy and birth, and how movement and positioning support physiological labor and how to help reduce strain and injury during this transformative process. I blend evidence based education with holistic, intuitive care to offer support that is both grounded and nurturing. At the heart of my work is a simple intention. I show up for mothers the way I would want someone to show up for my daughter one day. With warmth, compassion, and a steady presence, my hope is that every family I support feels seen, held, and never alone as they step into parenthood.

Highly recommend hiring Courtney as your doula. Our doula we initially hired had an emergency so we ended up having Courtney as our backup doula and she did not disappoint! We were a little nervous having a backup doula and somebody we’ve never met but Courtney was so personable, very easy going and very much was prepared for our birth plan and things we discussed with our doula prior to going into labor. Courtney was very encouraging, supportive and really helped my husband and I during such an intense and vulnerable experience. Thank you Courtney for what you do! It’s very clear that she loves what she does and it translates into working with her clients.

Peace! I am Briana Nicol Venters. I am a child of The Most High, a wife to the greatest man I know and a mother to a sweet and spicy baby boy. I have been sharing my labor of Love as a full circle birth worker both locally and internationally since 2018. Prior to Doula work, I spent numerous years providing child care & offering my gift as a certified stretch therapy instructor. When I am not serving birthing people and their families, you can find me reading, cooking, writing, roller skating and spending lots of quality time with my Loved ones. I enjoy nature and have a great appreciation for all things holistic and untampered with. My approach to Doula/birth work is to educate and serve. I am committed to advocating for and assisting birthing people and their villages by ensuring that my clients have the necessary tools to birth with confidence and the ability to advocate and make empowering educated decisions for themselves. It has been most rewarding to be involved in such intimate experiences and holding space for women while they are in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. I strongly believe that the way we prepare ourselves determines our next steps. I have made it my mission to ensure that every birthing person and their families are fully prepared by being supported every step of the way throughout their prenatal, labor and postpartum journey. I know for a fact that I was created for this work and I look forward to continuing to share myself with the birthing community!

Shakira was truly the most attentive, involved and helpful person through my pregnancy and birthing journey. I only wish we had more time with her through the process and didn’t find her so late in y pregnancy. After waiting and passing my babies initial birth date, Shakira worked with me and got my water to brea and the labor going. I went through labor at the birth center and she was literally with me every step just as exhausted and then I was transferred to the hospital where she continued to assist through my labor and birthing up until I needed to have a c section. This is my first baby and I went through so many obstacles and mostly the opposite of everything I wanted to happen but can say that Shakira was one of the best parts. I’d 100% suggest you trust her to help you through this journey. If I were to have another child, I would deff be giving her a call. 🩷

Highly Recommend Thalia – An Amazing Birth Doula! I had the absolute privilege of having Thalia as my birth doula, and I cannot recommend her enough! Despite being based in Houston, TX, she traveled all the way to Los Angeles to support me during my birth, and her presence made all the difference. From our very first consultation, I knew I was in good hands. Thalia was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive to my needs, both emotionally and physically. She took the time to understand my birth preferences and offered valuable support and guidance every step of the way. On the big day, she was a calm and reassuring presence, providing me with comfort, strength, and encouragement. Her support allowed me to have a positive and empowered birth experience. I truly believe that having Thalia by my side helped me achieve the birth I had hoped for. If you're looking for a professional, caring, and dedicated doula who goes above and beyond, look no further. I am forever grateful for her support and highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive birth doula. Thank you again, Thalia! You made a huge impact on my birth experience, and I’ll always be thankful for you!

In April 2018, I completed a training on Integrating Acupressure Comfort Measures into Your Doula Practice for Pregnancy Care, Labor Support, and Postpartum Care, with Nicholas Olow, M.S., L.Ac. and in August 2019 I attended a Spinning Babies Workshop consisting of 14 hours taught by Rachel Shapiro, CPM, LM, SpBT, to be a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator. In February 2021, I also attended a virtual workshop with Adilah Yelton to offer Bengkung Belly Binding to my clients. Zaira was such a blessing to our family. My husband and I tell everyone she was worth every penny and more. She gave us so much confidence going into the delivery of our son and we never felt alone. She went above and beyond during the entire team process and even still checks in on our son. The first time we met Zaira she drove all the way to our house (a long drive for her) and before she did anything else she prayed with us in our living room. We knew from that point on she was who we would choose as our doula. She was not only there for me and my questions, she gave assurance to my husband as well and equipped him to be the best partner throughout our delivery. From prenatal visits, to random texts, delivery, and even postpartum Zaira looked after our every need. I highly recommend her to anyone looking.

Nafeesa helped me though my 2nd pregnancy, I have a todler. My first birth experience I felt like I got a little lost in the system and as prepared as my husband and I were, nothing turned out quite right. Nafeesa helped me feel confident in so many ways, in advocating for myself to actually getting through my contractions and pushing my baby out! I would 100% recommend her as a doula! She is awesome.
