About me

I am a certified and licensed professional midwife providing home birth services to families in Southwest Louisiana and the surrounding areas. Love In The Making Midwifery grew out of a love and passion for preserving labor and birth as the intimate and sacred experience that it was meant to be. I believe a safe and fulfilling birth experience starts long before the birth of the child. I provide preconception and prenatal nutrition, labor and birth prep and lactation support. Through each hour long prenatal I strive to ensure my clients leave my office healthier than when they arrived, filled with fresh knowledge and understanding of their bodies and the confidence to become their own health advocate. Being a midwife is not my job but my calling and I hope to make that evident in each family I serve.
