From the perspective of a mother, I have recognized the importance of the parent's mental and physical well-being. As a result, I have recently completed postpartum doula and lactation consultant training. While preparing for the international lactation examination, I continue to serve in each of these areas and feel passionate about supporting families transitioning from neonatal intensive care (NICU) to home.
